Weed Man - Columbus North

It was very good. They came out fairly quickly after I purchased the big deal. The thing that stood out to me was that they called before they came, they told me what they were doing, asked me if it was convenient that day and they left a note saying that they were there that day. So they called and prepared me, they came and did it and they followed up. It was better than I expected. It was a great price.

It went pretty well. They had to come out a couple of times because when they came out the first time we asked them to be sure they were doing the pest control treatment and all that was said was that it was the weed treatment. The company called back later that day to ask what happened and when we explained they reassured us that the weed treatment also contained the pest control treatment and that they weren't really separate treatments. They rescheduled for the very first thing the next morning and had the treatment done before we had our morning coffee the next day. Now we have no more bugs!

The grass looks good. They were very professional. If I call them and I have a question, the owner of the company, is willing to come out and solve the problem. I had a couple problems and he was very prompt about it. He provided really good excellent customer service. I like the work they are doing. They were very responsive to customer concerns and questions. The other thing I like about Weed Man is their price.

They seem to do a good job. No complaints other than it seems a little pricey.

Great, the weeds started to die off after the first applicaton. They were prompt and the treatment was effective. They tried to sell me more services, but were not pushy about it. Would definitely use them again.

They were fairly prompt in scheduling. Here were my problems. They showed up to do the weeding application first and luckily I was home as they were applying the product to my neighbor's lawn. Once I pointed this out they switched to my lawn. BUt I have to say that 4 weeks later I still have plenty of weeds. The second application was a fertilizing one and I wasn't home when it was applied. Approximately 3 days after the application I was looking our a back window and noticed that there were green stripes on my lawn. I immediately recognized this as an indication of a poor fertilizing job. I know as I have done this myself with my little hand spreader. I would hope that a company doing a fertilizing would be able to make sure there is an even application of the product.

Love, Love, Love the Weed Man. I was so impressed by the job they did, I purchased an Angie's List big deal, that I have hired them for other things. The prices are very fair and I don't feel that they are overdoing it with the applications and wasting my money as so many other lawn care providers seem to do. I will use them again and again and would most definitely recommend them to family, friends, and neighbors.

Very nice and professional contacts. Came out and performed the work and let us know each time they came. We've had wonderful results with our lawn and it looks better than it has in years.

They were great and we had a good experience with them. They were courteous and called ahead to let us know what they were going to do, which was nice. They would let us know they were going to get out at a certain time unless it rained which was nice to have a heads up. They seemed to be nice guys. They are not cheap but they are worth it. They came when they said they would.

I think they came two weeks after the date when I ordered it. They came in very early in the morning but I have never seen them. I think their work is okay but I think I did have some problems in communication with the company.

I was contacted by a Weed Man sales person via phone. They sent out the information for their services promptly. I read other reviews on Angie's List about Weed Man and decided to give them a try. Their prices are great for early birds with additional savings if you pay for the full service up front. They are also very reasonable if you choose the per application option. They have come as expected, performed the service, are unobtrusive and are professional. Any questions I've had when calling have been answered kindly and professionally as well. My lawn was really suffering from broadleaf weeds and had thinned terribly in highly shaded areas. My own efforts had not been enough to fix the lawn. The fertilizer they use is great! Between the application of fertilizer and the rain my lawn looks great and has really filled in. It's like night and day. My neighbors lawns treated by other services don't look as good. One downfall? I have to mow more often because the grass is doing so well. I'm very happy with the product and service so far. We have a few more treatments scheduled through the rest of the summer and early fall. I recommend Weed Man to anyone looking.

My experience with them was good. They charge per visit. They come when they say they are coming and also they call to recommend a service, but they don't pressure you to take it. They call and let you decide. They have really good communication. Other companies seem more pushy about pressuring to get things done, but this one kind of offers it and accept what you decide. They are respectful.

They're comparable to most lawn services (e.g., TruGreen), and their prices are about the same as well. I just decided to switch from the "mega-company" to Weed Man, on principle.

Seems to be doing a very good job........I expected them to be here a week ago.......so wasn't sure they were going to complete the job. I assume they are super busy. Anyway, they are here today....not that it matters since they are outside...but we never know when they are coming. Will let you know more later as they have another application......not sure when that is. If I like what they are able to do with our yard....I plan to continue using them. They are very thorough & good workers.

I could not have had a better experience with this team of professionals! I am new to the Columbus area and called several places to get a quote for lawn care services. I received a prompt return call from a salesman named James. His sales "pitch" was one of the best I have ever heard and I have been in sales for 15 years and, in fact, run a local sales group! Every interaction I have had with them has been personal and professional. James just called me last week actually to see if I was happy with the services they were providing. During that conversation, he asked me about my son, by name and asked how he was doing in his sports. He remembered where we moved from and some of my favorite sports teams! Totally impressed!! Thanks Weedman!!

We got rid of the dandelions and the grass is greener and looks nicer. They called before coming out and that was good. They did what they said they would do.

I paid for Weed Man to handle my lawn for 2012 only, paying for the entire year. I did not renew as I was not completely happy with the results. I found a bill for service on my door on 04/10/13. I did not request they come out and when I called their office I was told that since the service had been done I had to pay. They person on the phone was extremely rude and stated that since they had come out I had to pay. I advised her that no payment would be coming as I never asked them to treat my lawn. They stated that the bill would be taken care of but I just received another bill today, 05/31/13. I have opened a case with the BBB.

So far, it's gone great. I called the contractor the same day I bought the service and he was out three days later with the fertilizer. My husband and I both noticed the lawn "greening up" and thickening over the next 3-4 weeks. After the second weed control treatment was applied, the contractor called to check in on how the treatment was working. I'm quite satisfied with the service and will use this provider again.
