Our 1986 vintage kitchen wall cabinet finally fell apart and needed to be replaced. We contacted nearly every cabinet company in Central Ohio but found that no one could match the style / finish of our old cabinet. We then thought, why not "repair" our cabinet versus buying a new one? I then discovered Troyer Transformations. Samuel Troyer came to our house and inspected our damaged cabinet. Samuel confirmed that they could fix it and provided me a very reasonable price quote. One week later, Samuel's brother, Jerry, arrived to re-install the cabinet. Jerry showed us everything he did to re-build and re-enforce the cabinet before he re-hung it and re-installed the doors. He completed the job in less than an hour! The cabinet is absolutely beautiful! We are so grateful to have met Samuel and Jerry! Our cupboards were 42 years old and did wonders with the refacing, Samuel, Jerry and their cousin were great to work with. The job was completed in three days. They cleaned up at the end of each day and were promptly back the next morning.

They recently renovated our 20-year-old kitchen and the final product exceeds our expectations. Their pricing was competitive with other bids that we received. The quality of the workmanship is excellent. The workers are extremely trustworthy and pleasant. Each night the project was totally cleaned up and spic and span. We had cupboards refaced and raised to the ceiling, interior shelves replaced, added a new coffee bar and glass faced cabinet, new pullouts and drawers, under counter lighting, Cambria quartz countertops and a subway tile backsplash. Troyer Transformations acted as general contractor for the counters, tile, and electrician. Their vendors including, R & T Yoder Electric Inc. (yoderelectric.com) and Brian Miller Custom Remodeling for the tile (brianmillertile.com) were all also excellent. Highly recommended.

Our home was built 23 years ago. We have lived in it for 20 years. We have been waiting a long time to replace our old and outdated cabinetry and laminate countertops. WOW!!!! Samuel and his team were very efficient and provided high-quality work. Even our countertop installers commented on the quality of the cabinets. They were always available to answer questions. They were very thorough with their work, from the cabinetry to the cleanup.

I could not be happier with Troyer Transformations! From start to finish we were beyond pleased with the process. We had existing cabinets refaced and then added brand new cabinets to reconfigure the layout of our kitchen. They also built a custom pedestal drawer for our beverage cooler to sit on and added drawers to our blind corner cabinet. Their work is beautiful! Every one of the employees was friendly and courteous. My kitchen looks amazing and we get some many compliments on it. It was wonderful having the peace of mind knowing you can trust a company and its employees to get the job done and get it done correctly. We highly, highly recommend Troyer Transformations!

After several quotes, we decided to go with Samuel. Upon his first visit, he brought many samples and explained in detail what was expected. His quote broke down each specific item, which other companies failed to do. The quote was right on what our budget allowed. We resurfaced the cabinets, quart countertops, new sink, new hardware, and a must have under cabinet lighting. We did add a couple of features such as building out the cabinet which resides over the refrigerator so it is actually useful. We had a pantry and Samuel created a built in feature to match the existing cabinetry. Ed and Jerry did amazing work, on time and cleaned at the end of each day. They are true professionals. Highly recommended for outstanding craftsmanship.

We have been very satisfied with the work of Troyer Transformations from the initial consultations to final project completion. During the process of selecting a contractor to perform the work, we were still deciding on the exact look and style we wanted to go with. Samuel was very helpful in talking us through the process and showing us several options including meeting with us at our house multiple times to review samples and arranging for a visit to a previous client's home to see the stain color we were considering for our cabinets. We initially planned on replacing our existing granite counter tops with a different granite but he introduced us to quartz and with the final style we settled on, the quartz became the perfect counter top choice. To help decide, Samuel accommodated multiple trips to the Cambria slab locker to look at the combination of our cabinet, counter top, paint and flooring choices. There were multiple options provided along the way to upgrade various aspects of the kitchen such as options for kick molding and cabinet end finishes but the options were never oversold or pushed. The ones we chose (combining multiple drawers, built in trash/recycle bins, expanding door opening) provided some nice upgrades and improved the overall appearance. Quotes were provided up front and any questions were answered as to what was and was not included. Accommodations were also made to allow for specific hardware we selected for the bar counter to allow for hidden floating brackets. Once the construction process started, progress was steady and there was good communication of who would be at the house each day and what would be accomplished. Each day the kitchen was cleaned up well and the tools were collected. We had our hardwood floor refinished at the same time and care was taken to protect it from any damage during the cabinet and counter top work. All members of the crew were courteous and willing to explain any questions about the process or just to have some casual conversation. The quality of the work in every aspect was excellent and where we spotted the rare condition that needed some extra attention, they were prompt and thorough at addressing it. The woodworking and finish on the cabinets was at a craftsman level as was the installation of the Cambria counter top. The seams were crisp and clean and all of the dimensions came out well. One section of counter top and a couple cabinet doors arrived not as ordered but all corrections were made within a couple weeks and did not impact the overall project. We were initially not sure of the technique used by Troyer to reface the existing cabinet surfaces with 3/4" solid wood and replace the doors/hardware/boxes, compared to completely replacing the cabinets, but the final product was beautiful and actually offers advantages to replacing. A single piece of wood was able to be used for each section of cabinets which creates a much more cohesive look compared to seeing the joints from the individual cabinets. It also effectively extends the cabinet by 3/4" which is just enough to provide additional clearance for slightly oversized dishware or cookie sheets. Overall, we had a very positive experience and would feel completely comfortable recommending them to anyone we knew who was committed to a kitchen remodel and wanted high quality work done.

Troyer Transformations exceeded our expectations by every measure. The quality of the work was superb, the price was very competitive, and of equal importance - the owner and crews were polite, professional, and courteous throughout every stage of the planning and construction. We would very highly recommend, and no doubt use again!

Troyer Transformations refaced our existing cabinets with 3/4 inch solid wood facing, new solid wood doors with top quality soft close Blum hinges, new solid wood shelving, new Amish made drawers with soft close Blum slides. Cambria installed new Quartz countertops from their creative designs. TT also made recommendations for Tiling contractors (Brian Miller) to replace the back splash and Flooring Contractors to replace tiled flooring with Luxury Vinyl Plank. TT also supplied and installed new sink and faucet, and new lighting. In summary Troyer Transformations provided 90% of the services of a turnkey contractor at significantly lower cost. The total project was completed in about 2 months but we only lost use of the sink for one night, the work area was cleaned up and usable every night. We had full use of the range and refrigerator throughout, whereas turnkey contractors were telling us we would need to vacate the kitchen for 3 months. In summary Troyer Transformations provided Amish custom quality refurbishment to our kitchen at a lower cost and shorter total project time than quotes from turnkey kitchen remodeling contractors. Samuel, Jerry and Ed were great people to work with and a pleasure to have in our house. Late changes were accommodated without fuss and without typically exorbitant change order fees. I highly recommend considering Troyer Transformations for your kitchen remodeling project. If refacing doesn't work for you, they can supply complete new custom cabinets too.

Samuel and his crew were fantastic. They were very patient as we changed our minds several times throughout the process. They were prompt, trustworthy and took great care of our home, cleaning up every night before they left. This was a 3/4 inch cabinet refacing with new quartz countertops. The finished product is amazing. We can say enough good things about this team.

It was a wonderful experience from start to end. I thought the window seat would have a top that opened for storage but Samuel suggested drawers because I would use them more. What a great idea. The shelf unit goes to the sealing and has cabinet storage on the bottom. A grommet was used to feed the lamp cord through to an internal outlet. The quality is exceptional. Instead of shelves that are slabs, there is a bevel to dress it up. The detail and attention to installation are amazing.

Project completed on a timely basis with a beautiful end result. Looks like a brand new kitchen and turned out exactly how we imagined. They were on time every day, cleaned up and protected our floors/granite during the entire process. We did research on several companies and Troyer is the best option.

Samuel and Ed did a great job for us. They were very polite around my children and to me. Both are very detail oriented and we could not have been more happy with the results. We even had some changes along the way that Samuel was more than happy to accommodate. I would not hesitate to use them in the future. We were very pleased with the process, follow-up, and the end product. I would highly recommend to others.

All work went very well. Work completed in a professional and courteous manner. Work was completed with 2 men - Samuel & Ed; Ed - on site much of the time. When Samuel was gone for a short period, Ed continued working and kept us apprised of the job status. He also helped in the selection of the hardware and was able to order pieces in to see what we liked and to keep the job moving. While this job may not have been as large as some they do, we always felt we were their only customer. During design, Samuel took meticulous measurements for the work to be done. We were offered suggestions on how we could modify the existing cabinetry on every thing from silverware drawers, to drawers that replaced cabinets, to the modification of a corner base cabinet that had not been able to be used efficiently for over 40 years. Work also included the modification of a pantry to include drawers. All new doors and drawers included soft/quiet close hardware. Samuel and Ed were on site during the measurement and installation of the Cambria counters, making sure there were no hitches. I should mention at this point, the Cambria person doing the measurement and their installers also did a very good job and were courteous and polite. Upon construction start-up, homeowners should expect a lot of space used up during the construction. This is due to the new items such as drawers, doors, and facework panels needing to be inside for acclimation before installation. During construction at the start of every day, ALL surfaces that might get damaged were covered and protected, from hardwood floors to carpet. At the end of EVERY day, Samuel or Ed vacuumed the work area with their shop vac. In our case this included the garage where they had set up saws and equipment. They were willing to remove this equipment each night had we wanted, but for us it was a small inconvenience. During the course of the work, there were several times when we could not be present. At no time were we even the least concerned about leaving them alone in our home. At the conclusion of the project, Samuel went over all items that were done and verified everything worked as it should and asked if we were comfortable and satisfied with the job. While this project only took about 2 1/2 weeks Troyer Transformation almost became a part of our family. When they left for the last time it was like a long time friend leaving our home. We would never hesitate to use Troyer Transformation again and strongly recommend them to anyone.

My cabinets look great as does the hardware. There was a flaw in one of the doors but, Samuel quickly acknowledged the need to replace it and did so without a reminder.

Troyer transformations was extremely professional and did a beautiful job on our cabinetry. The quality was just unbelievable and the professionalism was above and beyond. I would recommend this company to anyone if they would prefer excellence and professionalism and expect more out of themselves than even I could imagine that is a great company. Every day they said they would be there at such and such a time they were always there on time and they worked all day. We were blown away by this company! Also so easy to work with,with a very positive attitude!

We were very happy with the project/process from start to finish. Their portion was part of a larger first floor renovation at which they were at the mercy of our contractors timing since Troyer's portion was the last part of the project. We looked at new cabinets as well as painting/ refinishing. Ultimately we decided on re-facing because 1) our cabinets were In good shape so we felt it would be very expensive and wasteful to get rid of perfectly good cabinets when all we wanted was a different color/stain/look 2) we checked out a different type of refacing that was essentially a 1/8 inch laminate but was ultimately more expensive than Troyer to my surprise 3) we were told by multiple cabinet painters that refinishing and painting would be cheaper but would not last more than a year or two. As far as I know , most re-facers provide all new doors, paneling, and maybe hardware. Troyer is different because they put a solid 3/4 inch new face frame over top of your existing cabinets in the new color of your choice (stained, not painted) as well as new doors and decorative paneling , handles and quiet close hardware. All was included in our price, there were no surprises . They were great to work with and cleaned up after themselves very nicely after each workday. Highly recommend them to anyone !!!

This is the best experience I have ever had with a contractor. They redid my cabinets in a timely manner and were very professional. They are a great company to work with. I have recommended them to several people.

We had both a kitchen reface and partial remodel. Samuel was great to work with from start to finish. Half of the project was a reface and the other have was a remodel. We needed to gut one whole side of the kitchen in order to move the Refrigerator. Samuel and Ed did a great job! They added new cabinets with open shelving, built in the refrigerator and added a great pantry. Attention to detail all the way around! I could not be happier with my new kitchen!! The quality of the materials and the total outcome of the project exceeded expectations. I will hire Samuel again for future work.

I hired Troyer Transformations to reface my kitchen cabinets from honey oak to painted white. I looked at several other companies and had given up on the project until I met Samuel from Troyer Transformations. I could tell from the first time we met that he's an honest hard-working man and he could be trusted to do the job. He was always on time with his appointments and quick to follow-up with my questions. He has a great selection of materials and offers helpful advice in making selections. Once the project started he and his crew of 2 would arrive at 8am as they promised. They were all very kind and respectful and always left the kitchen clean at the end of the day. The quality of their work is amazing and the cabinets look even better than I expected. Anyone who has seen them is surprised that refacing can look so good. We also had some rolling shelves and a pull out organizer installed. If you are in the market for refacing I would highly recommend meeting Samuel before you hire anyone. You will not be disappointed in what he has to offer.
