Jacob promplty replied to an email that I had sent him prior to purchasing the Big Deal regarding a question that I had. He was able to answer my questiona and I proceeded to purchase the deal. I was contacted that same day by the landscape designer, Jesse, and we communicated back and forth just to get an understanding of what I was wanting to get done through this consultation. We worked out a date to have him meet us at my house where he took measurements, did a rough sketch and spoke to me and my wife about what we were looking to accomplish with them. He did let me know up front that his schedule was booked for a couple weeks so the actual scale drawing that was part of the deal would be delayed pending his worked already scheduled with other clients and working the Home and Garden Show, and that was fine. He was very nice, professional and good to work with. No hard sales pitch or anything. He took notes from our meeting and discussion with him and presented us with the drawing a couple weeks later, as promised. Per our consultation and discussion, he listed out an itemized list of what it would cost if we chose to have them do the actual work for the design that was discussed. At this time, we are looking to do most of the actual work ourselves but just getting his drawing and consultation was very helpful. One of the reasons he was so busy was because the Home and Garden show was going on at the time and he was committed to that. He also invited us to that to view his display and get an opportunity to get other ideas in general. I would not hesitate to reach out to them again if we were looking to have work done.

We did have to wait since he was inundated with responses to the deal. He was not able to come out for a few months. He was very nice and talked a lot about landscaping. He was thorough and knowledgeable. He sent us a sketch and the service was fine.

It was slow getting on their schedule because of the deal they offered, but it was definitely worth the wait. The workers and management were all professional. The crew they sent out were excellent workers!

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that we purchased. We went with someone else so they didn't do the job. We didn't pay any additional. It was okay. He was professional and knowledgeable but he didn't think outside of the box and he didn't give us a whole lot of different ideas. We didn't know what we wanted so we were looking for designs. There was no follow up afterwards to see if we were interested or if he could do something different. Initially his responsiveness was very prompt.

They were fine to work with. They were able to come out shortly after I had purchase the big deal. They were very informative, answered all our questions well, and gave us what we were looking for. The 3-D picture was fine and they were able to get me that in a timely manner. The results are very good with the new patio!

The owner of the company arrived a day early for the appointment. We discussed the plants and trees that I was interested in using. The plans I received were generic landscape plans not designs for the specific space in my yard. None of the plant materials that we had discussed were included in the design.

It went okay. They met me at my house. The guy walked around the yard with me. I told them a little bit about what I was thinking and then he went off and sent me a design sometime later. The interaction was good.

Came out and met with me. We discussed a high level of what might work in the space. He took some measurements and a few weeks later sent me a drawing of what he could do. The process was fine and price was good for the consultation and drawing. Ultimately I decided to go a different direction and did much of the work myself, but that in no way is a reflection of Jacob (that I met with) or the company. I just fell into a deal on stones and wanted to take on a project last summer anyway, so I did work myself.

He drew up blueprint plans and is willing to do all or just selected parts of the design. He would work with us allowing us to perform parts of the plan that we were capable of doing in order to contain costs. He created very nice plans and was easy to work with.

I purchased a big deal coupon for this company. It was fine. They were very professional, he came out and gave me some good ideas. I think he followed up with some plans for me to look at and that's it. I think he came out with a month of purchasing the coupon. He did a couple different ones back then, there was one that I couldn't get a hold of for a while, but I don't remember. She was on time.

I had given lots of thought to this project and had made a list of plants and features I liked and wanted to include. I gave this information to the provider, but only a couple of the plants made the plan. The plan was not that inventive (boxwoods, daylilies, and some other perennials). We weren't happy with some of the suggestions he made, such as removing an Alberta Spruce which has finally grown to a good size, after years of waiting. Some of the plants in the plan are readily available at big box type stores, but the variety specified was not a common one. It made me wonder if this was done so that we would have to purchase the plants from the provider.

Jesse the landscape designer has been extremely helpful throughout the process in getting us the patio and landscaping we want while keeping within our budget. We are having our patio installed this winter for an added savings

The service was fine, my only caveat was that when I reached out to them to make adjustments to the layout, they never responded to me. Needless to say, we ultimately ended up not using their service.

Design requests was ok but didn't follow requests for no bushes against house. Did provide referral for other yard work.

They did well. I thought that their ideas were very creative. My interaction with them was good.

Everything went well, he was a nice guy and I would use him again.

Although they said we could break up the job into segments, it was still too costly for us to do. They gave us a diagram of what we basically said we wanted.

Liked working with the company and everything went smoothly from first quote to final product. Results were great - Some delay due to thier busy schedule from initial quoted install but worth the wait in final result.

I purchased the original design with an Angie's List deal coupon. Jesse became swamped with orders, but he sent emails regularly to let us know when he would be able to complete the design. When the design arrived, I had it reviewed by an expert, who said it would work well for our soil, yard layout, and shading. So we asked Jesse for an estimate, along with some others. We decided to contract with Landscape Design Solutions, and had a very good experience. Jesse kept in contact in the 3 weeks between contract and actual work. the first step was removal of trees and stumpgrinding, which was subcontracted to Buckeye Trees. They did a fine job. Then Jesse's crew came in to remove the undergrowth, mulch, and plant quite a lot. Jesse gave us detailed watering instructions and a one-year warrantee. Throughout the job, Jesse asked questions and listened to what we wanted. He gave advice on a few points that we understood and accepted. The work was done thoroughly and we are happy with the result.

We were pleased with the work done. We felt the bed in the back might not be able to provide the coverage we wanted, but Jesse came out to discuss and added one more bush. Jesse provided great customer service. He came out to meet and go over our ideas, developed plans and came back out to discuss those plans. The work done was completed as expected without anything being damaged or any issues. Jesse went the extra mile to even water for us initially when we were out of town. We were pleased and will be anxious to see the growth next year in our new areas.

While I understand they were over whelmed with the response they received from the big deal, they should have known this was going to happen. It took forever to get the drawing from them. Yes they did email me and let me know it would take longer then expected. To this day I am STILL waiting on an estimate for them to do the job. At this point not even sure I would use them. I have lost my trust in the company to be able to fulfill anything they say they will do.

I decided not to have the work done

It turned out okay. I just got my value out of it, but I don't get more than what I would. I thought I was going to get little more in sketching or design whatever, but it wasn't. They responded quickly and scheduled right away. They were very punctual and he delivered the information that he did drop within a week so, they were very timely. He was very professional. I would use them again in the future.

Jesse was very good to work with. Very patient and flexible. Met my timeline.

We purchased a design special from Landscape Design thru an Angie's List Big Deal. Jacob Basnett arrived on time. Even though we were upfront and told him that we most likely were only interested in the design and would self-implement in the future, he spent considerable amount of time with us that evening viewing our property, listening to our desires, concerns and finally answering our many questions. Since we were not planning on doing any of this work presently, we told him he could take his time designing the plan. A few weeks later he emailed us a beautifully designed, clearly labeled plan. We were very satisfied with this service provider and if we decide to contract out for any of the many services they provide, we will certainly contact then first.
