Kuhns Contracting Inc

We have contracted with Kuhns Contracting for the last several years. They updated our master bath, replaced siding and a window. Last summer they gutted & updated our kitchen. Tony Kuhns & his crew are always professional. The quality of their work is excellent. Any concerns and questions are promptly answered. We highly recommend Kuhns Contracting.

Everything they do is fantastic and they are very capable. They were always neat and cleaned up well after themselves. One of their employees even dusted picture frames and other household items to clean up the dust. We are very comfortable having them in our home and they are getting ready to start their third project for us.

They did a tremendous job and were very professional. I was surprised pat how reasonably priced they were. They cleaned up well after themselves and repaired the leak quickly and efficiently. I’ve been thinking about calling them for another job and I would highly recommend them to others.

They’re prompt , do what they say they’re going to do and they’re courteous and are everything you would expect in a good workman. They are a "top-knotch" company. I have recommended their services to others.

This included the shower, countertops, the tile floor, etc. The remodel took quite a bit of time. We had some issues along the way but overall they took care of the job. Kuhns Contracting was very professional and we had also used Kuhns about 3 years ago for our kitchen remodel. Their prices are a little above average but you get what you pay for and we would consider using their services again.

I've used Tony Kuhns and his crew many times before. I don't even check out other contractors because his work is good, he stands behind it, and the work gets done in a timely manner. I could probably get the work done a bit more cheaply, but I'd rather pay a little more and have the work done right. I love my new bathroom.

I chose Kuhns Contracting based on the excellent reviews on Angie's List and I am more than pleased to submit my A report card as well. They weren't my least expensive bid but I could not be more pleased with the professionalism, responsiveness and beautiful quality of work that was done. Our new master bath is a beautiful retreat! I would highly recommend Tony and his crew to anyone looking to remodel. We will definitely call them again in the future if/when we are ready to take on another project.

Kuhns Construction did a marvelous job on our bath remodel. Both Tony Kuhns and Dan P. were very responsive and did not forget the details. The workmanship from Tony and his team was very high in quality and where Tony did use a sub-contractor they proved to be absolutely excellent. I wanted a contractor who had done extensive remodels and had done a steam shower before and Kuhns met both criteria at a reasonable price compared to other estimates. The are straightforward to deal with and I can certainly say that we had no problems working with them - in fact I am anxious to do another project with them. If you are getting estimates for any type of remodel project I would contact Kuhns Construction.

We had been thinking about doing a remodel of a screened in porch for awhile and it was one of those things I thought I could do (with help). Never happened of course. Since Kuhns Construction was doing a great job on remodeling our master bath I approached Tony for an estimate which proved to be quite reasonable - and he felt he could fit it in fairly soon. Am I glad I engaged Kuhns Construction since we found some rotten wood beams which had to be replaced as well. Dan P. was up to the task - and now we have a great looking screened in cedar porch which will serve us for many years. Very high quality carpentry - read to stain or paint. Not a large project for Kuhns but I certainly appreciated the care even though it took longer than Tony anticipated (due to the repair of rotten wood). Another great job by Kuhns but worthy of mention since it shows the versatility of the firm (bathroom remodels, porches, and kitchens, etc.

The job was quoted, revised and excepted within a week. We reviewed the requirements with subcontractors, work started reasonably quickly and within our schedule. They were very accommodating in that regard. While the floors were being installed we picked hardware and counter tops and the rest went without a hitch. Fairly straight forward. I waited a while to write the review knowing that we were excited to get the work done and enjoy the refreshed rooms. I thought I would be able to write a more objective and helpful review once I started to see everything function. Still not disappointed. I think everything came out just the way we wanted and I still have no issues with anything they delivered. Overall, Excellent to work with and we are very appreciative for finding Kuhns Contracting and looking forward to our next project with their support.

I wanted one contractor who could deal with both drywall repair and raising a settled foundation. The major part of this job was raising the floor of a Florida room. I chose Kuhns because of the impressive measuring and planning they did to create the bid. The work proceeded quickly, no doubt due to the planning. This kept costs to a minimum. The invoice was a clear list of time and materials that matched the work I had observed.

From start to finish, they only problem we had was a delay on the shower door, which had to be ordered special. a c

Gutted both bathrooms and replaced tub shower and the counter tops and sinks. Installed new floor coverings. Work was excellent and within my schedule. I now live out of state and needed to prep the house for sale. It all went smooth, on schedule and recommendations were excellent. Work was just enough to get what i needed without going "over the top". I am the proverbial "happy camper" and recommend Kuhn for all remodeling jobs.

Tony was very thorough when inspecting work to be done prior to his estimate. He pointed out areas needing attention that went unnoticed by another contractor. His bid was very acceptable reflecting the work to be completed. We were impressed with the work ethic shown by his staff. Our primary craftsman, Dan, was always on time and showed years of experience in the quality of work completed. Dan also took the time to share his concern about an area needing improvement that was revealed when subflooring was removed. All improvements were completed on time. This was our first experience using a contractor. We feel fortunate that Kuhns Contracting left us with such a positive experience!! We will definitely contact Tony for future improvements!

Kuhns Construction has done work for us before, and this is why we hired them to do our master bathroom remodeling. The window installation they did in 1992 still looks like new. Tony's crew was just wonderful. I appreciated the way they respected and took care of the rest of the area by putting up a zip wall to keep most of the inevitable construction dust confined to the immediate construction area. They worked efficiently and carefully, and progress was very good and stayed on schedule. Everything that Tony's company does is done with the utmost care and attention to detail. Honestly, it all looks perfect! We were fortunate that we ran into no snags along the way. Many of my friends have complained about contractors who ran behind schedule or even failed to show up. Tony's crew was like clockwork, always pleasant, and very thorough. I also appreciated Tony's guidance along the way. He advised us about certain aspects of the bathroom remodeling project as we went along, based on his years of experience. He was right on every count!! Tony maintains excellent communication throughout the process, which is reassuring. He answers calls and inquiries promptly. Everyone involved in this process was professional, friendly, considerate, and excelled at his craft. We highly recommend Kuhns Contracting, and I wouldn't consider having anyone else do work on our home. I wish there were a way to give them an A+ !

Sought quotes from 3 contractors, including Kuhn's Contracting. Of the 3, Kuhn's was slightly higher than the others, but it clearly explained all of the labor and materials that were included in the estimate and was the only one that called for all of the proper permits. Comparing this quote to the others, my wife and I were far more confident that materials would be high quality, the work would be done very well and that the bottom line price would be accurate. Work started and finished in the time periods that were discussed up front. Entry and hall floors were protected throughout the project. They were good about keeping the house and work areas clean. We were able to see progress from day to day. They contacted me with questions when we had to make certain choices, but had the foresight to give us a day or two to get back with them if needed. Based on the early discussions with Tony, we had high expectations for the project. Kuhn's Contracting was able to deliver in every way. The quality of materials, workmanship, and service were all top notch. I look forward to working with Kuhn's Contracting in the future.

I have used Kuhns Contracting many times before. I don't even get another estimate anymore because their estimates have always been within my budget for the projects I've had them do. I like using this company because they start and finish in a timely manner, do very good work, and listen to what I want. Mr. Kuhns stands behind his company's work, and wants to make sure I'm a satisfied customer so that I'll use him again.

This experience was excellent. Tony was always very prompt in contacting me back whenever I called or sent emails. His son, Luke, was the carpenter on the job and he was always professional & very knowledgeable about what needed to be done. We are extremely happy with the work that was done. I would definitely use them again for any size project!

Tony and his crews were fantastic to work with. They were all friendly, punctual, skilled and did all the little things to make sure we were happy with the end result. We made some changes in finishing fixtures midway through the job and the crews were very flexible and patient with the process. I would not hesitate to recommend Kuhn's Construction to anyone planning a bathroom renovation

Tony and his team are top notch professionals who do quality work at a reasonable price. I may have had both jobs performed for less, however I would have had to look over my shoulder constantly. With Tony’s team, I never worried.

Tony was incredibly nice and professional. I appreciate him following up with me, being up front about the time frame, scope of the work and honest about possible problems that we could run into. He was all in all, great! The only reason I did not choose Tony was due to the fact that a family friend is willing to do it for zero profit. I would most definitely choose Kuhns Contracting for future projects in my home.

From the day I received the estimate, everything was handled in a professional manner. The work was done when promised and the quality was excellent. At the time I'm entering this report, approx. 7 years later, the floor is still in great condition and I have had no problems with the installation. Just after the installation, I did ask about having a guide piece installed at the bottom of a closet door and they came out immediately and took care of it. I would most definitely use Kuhn's Contracting again should the need arise.

Tony isn't always the low bidder. He usually comes in at the middle of the bids, HOWEVER, his work is superior.
