Description of Work: Kuhn Contracting did four different jobs for us on our previous home over a period of 10 years. They included conversion of a screened-in-porch to a four seasons room, finish out of a basement, replacement of bay windows and kitchen updates. All were completed on time and within budget. Tony, Dan and other crew members along with subcontractors were punctual, professional, and are excellent craftsmen. The work is beautiful and of excellent quality.

 + -1 morePositive experience all around! Tony did a great job working within our budget. Of all the contractors we interviewed, he seemed the most comfortable working with older homes. Dan and his crew were always timely and professional. Any issue that arose during the process was quickly resolved. At the end of each workday, the crew always picked-up. At the end of very dusty weeks, Tony had someone come in to vacuum and dust (nice touch). There were a two minor additions to the project scope while the remodel was underway, which the crew completed quickly and at a reasonable price. We would definitely use Kuhns for another project.
Description of Work: Remodel a master bedroom and expand one and a half bathrooms into two full bathrooms.

 + -1 moreMR. KUHNS AND HIS EMPLOYEES GENERALLY DO GOOD WORK, AND THE SUBCONTRACTED CABINET MAKER DID EXCELLENT WORK. THE ONE PROBLEM I HAD WAS WITH HIS ELECTRICAL SUBCONTRACTOR LES ZAJAK. LES'S WORK WAS SLOPPY, AND NOT UP TO CODE. ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS OTHER ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS HAVE FOUND MISTAKES IN HIS WORK, INCLUDING A LOOSE CONNECTION AND 15 AMP APPLIANCES ON 20 AMP BREAKERS. ALSO MY OVEN WAS 'OVER WIRED' TO A 40 AMP BREAKER INSTEAD OF A 20. WHEN I DISCUSSED THESE DIFFICULTIES WITH MR. KUHNS HE WAS VERY DEFENSIVE INSTEAD OF BEING WILLING TO LISTEN.
