Went great. Arrived on time. Were very good. Called to confirm appointment. Updated us throughout the day on when he would be here. Professional service. Very pleased with service.

When I called Expert Garage Doors to schedule an appointment for a broken garage door spring (at a rental property) Angela advised me that they had a large back log of broken springs and they couldn't get to me for one week. They gave me a quote over the phone and gave me the Angle's List $10 discount. Angela also advised that if there were additional charges that they would call ahead and advised. While I was a bit disappointed, I went ahead and scheduled the work because of the large number of positive reviews on Angie's List. As promised they called ahead, arrived at the property on time and made the repairs. After the repair was made, Angela called and advised that the repair was completed and there were no extra charges. I gave them a credit card number over the phone and they sent me an itemized receipt via email. When reviewing the receipt I noticed that the repair person performed maintenance that I was not expecting; a pleasant surprise. Overall I am very pleased with the work performed by Expert Garage Doors and will use them in the future.

This company was fantastic in its responsiveness and professionalism. I called yesterday to schedule service and left a message on their voicemail, uncertain given a recent experience with another company as to whether or not I would receive a response. To my delight, they called me back within 20 minutes or so and scheduled the needed service for the next morning (today). Russ Corey was one of the very best service personnel that we have ever had in our home. He was timely, extremely professional obviously competent, and went out of his way to make things right for us. HIs inspection of all the component part was complete and he addressed every deficiency, how ever slight. He even replaced a ruined light socket on the opener. We will absolutely be using this company for all of our routine garage door service in the future.

Everything went well. Scheduled an appointment, and the gentleman showed up on time. Worked efficiently and answered questions.

Front office staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Called on a Thursday, was able to get an appointment for Monday. The front office offered to call and let me know if anything opened up that Friday. Installer arrived on time and with the correct replacement parts. Service was fast and friendly. Installer and vehicle maintained a professional appearance. Will use this contractor again for any future garage related needs.

They came out a few weeks after I purchased the "Big Deal" and the service turned out great. The people that came out were great. They gave me a nice education on garage doors on what I'm going to do to maintain it.

They did great. They technician was really good. We had a problem 2 years later with the sensors and the keypad, and they came back to fix it for free. I continue to use the company.

I spoke with Angela on Monday, 11-4-2013 about our garage door not working properly. Described what was going on with garage door while it was opening. Angela was able to diagnose the problem over the phone. Work was scheduled for two days later, 11-6-2013. Russ (service technician) arrived on time. He confirmed what was wrong with the garage door, explained all that he would be doing and the amount of time it would take to complete the job. Everything was completed in the timeframe he gave us; as well as there was no mess. Garage door now performs as if it were brand new. Excellent workmanship and professionalism. Would definitely use again. Thank you for a job well done!!

They were great. The service person shared a lot of information about the workings of that electric garage door process and what we can do a minimal type of maintenance. He was extremely informative and very knowledgeable on the type of service he provided on that particular thing.

This was a very good experience from start to finish. Angela was very pleasant and helpful on the phone when I first called. Got me scheduled quickly for a diagnostic testing of my door opener. Russ arrived right on time for my initial diagnostic test. He worked diligently and tried several things in troubleshooting the issues with my opener. Once it was determined that the circuit board was damaged, Russ offered to try to locate replacement parts for me in order to save a few dollars. But since the manufacturer of my unit had gone out of business, I determined it best to replace the opener unit entirely. Both Angela and Russ are very professional and knowledgeable. They made this whole experience as pleasant as possible.

I sure wish all contractors / service companies were as good as Expert Garage Doors. The appointment was for between 3PM and 5PM, Russ arrived at exactly 3PM, no joke, exactly 3PM on the dot. He told me the service would take about 1.5 hrs. sure enough, 1.5 hrs later he was done. Work was beyond expectations, Russ not only fixed the spring - he also did maintenance on both doors and openers at NO EXTRA charge! He was very friendly and professional. I hardly ever write reviews, but these folks went above and beyond and I wanted to make sure to let everyone know if they have issues with their garage doors, they need to call Expert Garage Doors! Also, the final bill was for the exact amount I was quoited over the phone - no hidden fees or bait and switch with this reputable company. Russ was prompt and performed the garage door maintenance. He identified a crack in the door and installed a support strut. He was great at explaining everything that was being done.

Our garage door wouldn't open - the chain on the opener had broken. I called Expert Garage Doors before 8 AM, and they called me back promptly. She was able to schedule someone to come out that morning to fix this for us. The serviceman came out and was able to fix the chain for us. He also did some maintenance on the door and springs for us to help it open and close more cleanly. We definitely would recommend this company!

Arrived on time, very friendly. Replaced the weatherstiripping on our door and did a tune-up. In addition they found a broken hinge and fixed that as well. Great to deal with! Will recommend to neighbors and use again. Thanks

Everything went well. The contractor was cordial and on time, and did a thorough job of inspecting and testing things to ensure that I had a leak-proof seal. I have used this company several times before, and each time they have been extremely professional and friendly. I will use them again on a regular basis to tune-up my garage doors as part of my preventative maintenance program.

Repairman arrived on time, went right to work and completed repair in about an hour. Everything went smoothly.

I called several garage door installation companies and chose Russ Corey, of Expert Garage Doors, for several reasons. He was prompt, well-spoken, thorough in his explanations, and willing to have his explanation videotaped so that I could share what he was proposing with my husband. Russ came with a good selection of sample materials so that I could actually see the options for the door style I had chosen, from non-insulated to triple-insulated. Russ is the owner of his company so I knew he would be invested in the quality of work done. He was, in fact, the person who installed the door. It was a challenging job because the old, extremely heavy carriage doors had to be removed and disposed of (not for the faint of heart); the garage ceiling was low so the opening for the garage door had to be re-framed and dropped down several inches to make room for the track and spring mechanism; and in general, it's challenging to fit old with new. It may be fairly straightforward to install a garage door in a newer house that still has straight lines and right angles! I knew I needed an expert. I was very pleased with the old door removal, the reframing of the new wood header, the new door itself, and garage door opener. As the work progressed and questions arose, Russ and Angela (at the office) were very prompt in returning all calls and getting answers to me swiftly. All work was completed on time and as promised. By the way, a different company came in as low bidder but had priced the job failing to consider necessary headroom for an electric garage door opener. So they just left that part out of the estimate! They also quoted a lower-quality garage door than I had selected. Buyer beware! Make sure you're comparing apples to apples, and choosing someone who listens well and does the job you wanted.

Working with Expert Garage Doors was one of the best experiences I have ever had. Fast, professional, and affordable. This house is very old and required special attention which they gave. I will not hesitate to call them in the future.

Everything went smoothly and quickly! My installer was quite competent and trustworthy and I had no concerns leaving him at my home to complete the job when I needed to leave! In retrospect, I should have gone with all equipment suggested -- I opted for slightly less and now wish I had gone with his suggestion of adding an exterior keypad. They really did know their business and I would recommend them to all!

Russ was prompt and on time. He explained everything he was going to do, not only replacing both springs but upgrading them and doing a full 'tune-up' of the entire garage door system including the opener. Fairly good - feel that he could have replaced the roller within the price. Had to come back again to set alignment.

My garage door was not moving; opening or closing. The springs on the door were bad and he replaced the springs. He also took the time to adjust and oil all parts. The garage door works great.

We just had a home built and needed an opener installed. We checked around on Angie's List and set up a couple of estimates. No one came out to give one but we did get several email responses. The response from Expert Garage Doors was the fastest and most professional. The email gave me the details on the openers and prices. When I called to schedule I had no issues and Angela was very friendly and professional. I told her we would not be home and she said we can leave the garage door open and they can install it and leave the paperwork and she'd call for payment after it was complete. We left the house locked and garage door propped up so it was not locked (not really worried they'd go in but just for protection from everything). They came and went leaving behind the invoice. Angela called and we made payment... got home and everything was great! The new opener is a Liftmaster 8355 belt driven opener and is extremely quiet and very easy to use. It is just a garage door opener after all. Anyways... very friendly and a great price!
