Professional from start to end. He arrived within the service window and went right to work taking the time to explain each step of the service he performed and the mechanics of the door lift system. When he was finished he cleaned up after himself. The doors both now operate much more smoothly and quietly. Russ, the owner/operator, is very personable and is a no-nonsense type of worker. I greatly appreciated this ans well as the service.

Service was performed with good quality and speed. The 2nd door spring broke during tuneup and the tech had a spare on site and was able to replace it as well.

Russ first came out on time and explained my problem and gave him a written estimate. The following week I had Russ came out to do the repair job and he was on time and did a great job.

In response to an ad for a special rate for a garage door opener tune-up I called the company. On the arranged date, a neat, polite, on-time young man came and worked on my garage door opener. He adjusted the top brackets and added screws, lubricated the door and opener, added spring tension and adjusted the safety settings of the opener. Now all the squeeks and clunks of opening the door are gone and there is less weight when opening the door.

The worker did a great job and he was very nice to talk with.

We were having trouble with our garage door going down, so the dispatcher suggested we get the $59 tune-up special. They found several things wrong and fixed them (the laser lights on the ground and 2 wheels on the door track). The service person was friendly and checked with me before doing extra work. I did not receive a cost estimate for all the work, just the tune up and the replacement of the wheels on the door. Door works great now. I would recommend this company and I would use them again.

I was very pleased with the work and the price. They were very nice. They are very prompt and accurate.

Expert Garage Door fixed a problem with the garage door that another vendor (who installed the door) had screwed up and then wanted $400 to fix. Expert took care of the problem and actually replaced part of the opening mechanism, making my door operate better than it has since it was installed.

Russ was able to come complete the repairs the day after my initial call. He was prompt, friendly, and efficient. He explained everything to me and cleaned up after himself. He informed me that the lifespan on my (original) spring on the other garage door has been exceeded but he only had one spring on the truck. I will call them to have the second spring replaced soon. They were a pleasure to work with.

What a nice person and a super company. Russ went over all the options, never pressured us, just provided us with a list of possible options and the costs associated with each. The door is gorgeous, the work was well done, and overall they treated us more like friends than customers. This experience alone made joining Angie's list well worth the money.

They were excellent. They came out right on schedule and did the work. They were gone in about 20 minutes. It was well done. The price seemed reasonable; we have had springs replaced before.

Came out when he said he would, was very friendly and took his time to do the job right. Price was very fair and service was outstanding. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company.

We had to leave the car outside. We usually use a different company, but they couldn't come out that same day and we didn't want to leave the car outside over night. So I spoke to Angela at Expert Garage Doors and after trouble shooting the problem over the phone, she said she could get someone out the same day. It's a good thing because there was hail that night and our car probably would have gotten damaged. Russ came out that afternoon and not only repaired the spring, but he was able to get rid of the horrible squeaks that both doors were starting to make. We will not hesitate to call upon Russ and Angela for any of our garage door needs in the future. They were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and professional from the start. I called on a Sunday morning and was able to schedule for first thing Monday at 8AM. Russ showed up exactly on time and was very courteous and professional. He quickly diagnosed the problem showing me what exactly was wrong as he did. He told me what needed to be done and suggested a small amount of additional work that was recommended, but not required. He was very pleasant and I did not feel at all pressured. Within two hours the work was done and everything worked much better than it did prior to the problem. I highly recommend this contractor to anyone needing service.

Our garage door opener was damaged by lightning strike. After I called Expert Garage Door, Russ showed up quickly and gave me an estimate. Then he replaced it for me, tested it and worked pretty good. Unfortunately, a couple of days later, I tested from outside the garage, the opener did not respond to the remote from outside very well. I had to tried many times, some times I was lucky, some times not. I called Russ again and told him the situation. He explained to me that possible radio wave in the air interfered my garage door opener system. That said, he re-visited my house and reset the system and re-wired the antenna. Then the opener seemed to be working well while he was at present. Later, when I tried outside again, the opener responded to the remote better, but still some times I had to try three to five times. I called Russ again. He told me that he would check with the manufacturer to see what options he had. A week later, he came back and extended the antenna based on the suggestions he got. What I liked him is his attitude that always tried to help customers as much as he can until the problem is resolved.

A lot of other companies wanted to charge me $75 to just look at it. Expert Doors had an Ad in the paper said they would do service for $45, so he came out and oiled it up and for $45 I got it fixed! He was very thorough in the work that he did and was very nice. He told me anytime I needed work done to call him & that I should have the maintenance done once a year.
