They were on time, friendly and did an excellent job.

On time, found bad part, fixed it. Wire came loose several hours later. Returned in one hour to fix before holiday. Great service.

On time, friendly, explained what he was doing. When we determined I needed a new opener, Russ was very flexible with scheduling to meet my needs.

After I purchased the Big Deal I contacted the company to schedule my garage door tune-up. The first available appointment was a few weeks out. The technician arrived during the time window I was given. He tuned up my two garage doors and gave me some things to watch out for in the future. The technician was professional and pleasant to talk with. I would use this company again if I needed additional garage door maintenance or if I needed replacements.

Appointments easy to set up, arrived on time, did a great job, will be coming back to replace one of openers and wector spippry (words not clear) on both doors.

This was one of Angie's Big Deal. My husband said the person was prompt and very courteous. Service exceeded expectations.

The technician was very efficient in performing all the checks of the door operation and balancing the springs.

After the appointment was set, I left a voicemail providing the specific type of door opener to be maintained. I never got a person to answer the phone so I left a voicemail and never got a return call. I ask them to only send someone if the person was familiar with this type of door opener. When he arrived, it was obvious he knew nothing about the opener. He sprayed the rails and then wrote up everything he thought we should do. I will transcribe his notes/recommendations below: -Performed Maintenance -Door seems heavy. Slams to floor. I think it has a broken spring. -Manual disconnect does not work on opener. Photo eyes do not work. *Recommend new spring and opener. Obviously we paid $55 dollars for him to tell us that they could replace the opener with a new one for $700. I had already checked the internet for replacement parts for the opener currently installed and found that all parts are still available. I assume since he knew nothing about this opener, he had no idea how to repair what we have. Extremely poor service. I could have gone to Lowe's and had them replace the unit with what he recommended cheaper than what he quoted. Overall... Terrible.

Expert Garage Doors were exceptional from start to finish. I found the company using Angies List and was not disappointed. From the initial phone call, the service, and the final payment I never saw anyone from the company. I scheduled trusting the previous reports on Angie's List. Then, not being able to be home for the service call, Expert Garage Doors explained they often do service calls with the homeowner not present and nothing expensive would be done without consulting myself first. So, I felt very comfortable giving my garage door code away. On the day of service I was unable to answer my phone and a very polite technician left a very detailed message explaining what he had done, what he had replaced, and the final cost. I came home to see that all of the old parts, which had been replaced, were neatly set on a rag and not just thrown away. Seeing the parts were removed and replaced rather than just being told spoke largely for this company and their technician. The final bill to service my double and a single garage door was 130.00. The service consisted of, tightening and oiling, as well as replacing 6 rollers. Expert Garage Doors is an A+++++ company and deserves to be awarded as one of the very best in the Central Ohio area. Why do you ask? I have never dealt with a company whom I never saw. I couldn't tell you what their service vehicles look like. What I do know, is the entire experience with this company went above and beyond my expectations. I love this deal! The company was great. They were very professional and came on time to the appointment. I was out in the garage at times with the repair man and he did not mind. I had questions for him and he took his time answering them. He helped me figure out where to install the keyless code pad, which I had not even spent a minute before hand thinking about. I just really enjoyed having this company coming out to my house and I will call them back for any future jobs.

They did a great job. They were here on-time. I hadn't used them before. I would definitely use them again. He even changed the line in the opener which wasn't part of the service! Added: 3/12/2012: A few weeks after this service, the garage door stopped working. Even though they were on the other side of town they cleared their schedule to come help me. They didn't charge me because the door was sill under warranty. It was due to a faulty sensor, not an error on their part.

Couldn't get door up or car out of garage and was scheduled to leave on vacation the next day. Expert very responsive and came out to fix within two hours. They replaced spring with a heavier spring which will last longer. Only charged a $50 after hours call out fee in addition to normal cost. They are very responsive and professional. I will use them for routine maintenance as well on a yearly basis. My hats off to both the office and repair crew.

The company was prompt, efficient, and fairly priced. Our door is running much more smoothly and quietly, and the sensor replacement has made a huge difference for us.

Responded promptly- very courteous and knowledgable. Reviewed info with me. Comes with a guarantee. I did have to call them back when I ahd a problem unrelated to their visit this January when the door kept opening on its own- and they came out and immediatley determined the problem [stuck button on garage door opener in a drawer...] for no charge.

They lubricated and did a check up. It was honest and up front. They did a good job and said they would do what they did, which is hard to find these days.

Got this finished a few days ahead of schedule which was great over the Christmas holidays. Quickly resolved problem I was having.

I was very impressed with them. I was hesitant to have them do the work. My keypad on my garage door had not been working right. I have had trouble with the door for a while. I just figured it may be time for a new door. The guy came out and he saw the overhead spring was too tight, it had too much tension on it; it was also corroded. He realigned the tracks. The electric eyes had also come off, and I had those put on the best I could. He set up both remotes on the cars for me so I don’t have to use the hand held remotes. It works beautifully, it is so quiet. I did pay an additional costs for the garage door remotes.

Russ was on time, was courteous and very professional. He went right to work and completed the job to my satisfaction.
