Matt and his crew arrived on time and performed the tear down and clean up quickly and without incident. Super job! Kevin, Gideon, and Jeremiah arrived bright and early on the scheduled day and built our new barn. They were literally poetry in motion as they worked like a seasoned team. They seemed to really enjoy their work and there was no wasted effort. Each man knew exactly what to do, when to do it, and even sensed when one might need help, a tool, a piece of lumber, or a ladder and one of the team was always there to provide that help. Professional, courteous, and respectful, you can’t ask for much more.

+ -1 moreThis company is really top notch. I looked at their competitors' products and, while their sheds are mostly cheaper, there was no comparison in quality. Beachy's sheds are sturdy, well-constructed with an attention to detail that I would use if I were making one for myself. I went to their showroom in Plain City, looked at the different styles and sat down with Shannon to customize to my liking. They delivered it on time (about 5 week lead time) and all with one person and a mechanical "mule" - very impressive to watch. They hire Mennonite workers to do the assembly; they are first rate craftsmen. One doesn't think of a shed making the back lawn look better, but ours does exactly that. You will not regret getting a Beachy Barn.

It was so hot out, but they just did a very good job all the way around. Everyone I spoke with at Beachy Barn was very informative and patient with my questions. Their people that put the shed up were extremely efficient. After the project was finished I called with further questions and they were still very professional and polite. Didn't try and slump me off.

+ -1 moreBeachy Barns provided a storage barn customized for my needs, even to the point of placing the loft at the best height for me to walk under but still be able to reach items stored there. (I'm very short) The quality is fantastic. It's been in place 2 or 3 years now. It looks as good as the day they delivered it and always feels dry and "tight" inside. No drafts, no leaks, no sign of vermin intrusion, although I'm pretty sure there are critters living under the shed. Delivery and placement was also excellent. As it turned out, the barn was too big for the place I had planned for it. It would have fit, it would have just looked bad. The delivery man had zero problem with moving it for me. I did catch the problem before he'd put it on the ground but still, he was friendly and professional when I asked him to move it to another spot. I have recommended them to others and will continue to do so. The "estimated cost" I listed really is an estimate. It's been so long I don't remember the exact cost of the barn.

+ -1 moreWe decided to get a shed to store patio furniture, etc, and started looking around. We looked at the Home Improvement Stores and other providers. What we saw at the retail establishments were poorly made and not very exciting. I went online and found Beachy Barns. Their website was helpful and when we went out to look at their product we were immediately impressed. Preston was there to answer all our questions and he easily guided us through the process of putting together a customized quote. We were pleasantly shocked when we realized we could get a well made, custom, beautiful shed CHEAPER than what we saw at the retail stores. The shed was ready when they said it would be and Dale came out and set it up perfectly. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! You won't be disappointed.

+ -1 moreWe were lucky to contact Beachy Barns during a sales event, so we got an even bigger bang for our buck on their quality product. Looking at the typical sheds sold at home improvement stores, then the product Beachy Barns constructs, there is no comparison. Our Beachy Barn shed has weatherproof siding (no maintenance!) and many optional features, like shelving and rods to keep the doors open. Best of all, it was a stress-free purchase, in that they did all the construction and installation. They can recommend people to put in a stone base; we talked to one gentleman who was honest enough to persuade us not to do this for our situation. When good people work with a company, it's likely the company is good, too. The shed has made it through winter #1 with no issues. Love our Beachy Barn!

They each knew their job and work efficiently. The service turned out absolutely wonderful. They are so organized and professional. I would grade them a triple A!

+ -1 moreWe shopped several vendors for outbuildings at a couple of home shows. Beachy Barns was by far the most courteous, attentive and accommodating to our needs. Having a smaller back yard and limited space, we were not going to be a hugely lucrative customer; however, we were treated like an important customer all the way through the process. Other companies we talked to seemed to not have the time to bother with a smaller project. At the Fall Home Show, we worked through all of the details and ordered our shed to be built within 6-8 weeks, which was perfect for our timeline. We received the scheduling call about 2 weeks ahead so that I could prepare the space. The installers arrived exactly on time. Installation took about 2.5 hours and they patiently waited on my wife to paint the parts that were going to be nestled back in the corner of the fence. We will finish painting the exposed areas later (attached photo is the original finish). The installers were experienced, quick, thorough and used their experience to guide the proper placement and installation of the building. They were gracious guests and very personable.

+ -1 moreSupplies were delivered by 3 gentlemen just before the time they were scheduled to arrive. They laid everything out neatly. Everyone knew his job and proceeded to do it. The shed was constructed and cleanup was done I less than 2 hours. This was an 8x10 shed with a shingle roof. I am very satisfied with my shed and the job they did.

+ -1 moreOverall I am very satisfied with the look of the workshop. The crew was very professional and courteous. They only recommendation I have is that you get it in writing as to who is going to contact the inspector.
Description of Work: We went to Beachy Barns because we liked the look of their product. We met with the manager and decided on a 20 x 12 work shop with a loft. We were also told that they would contact the town inspector as he would have to see the footers before the barn was built. After a few weeks of getting all the permits from both the town and the county and making the decision about footers vs slab, color of shingles, etc we were given a time frame of early July. A few days before the build they called to tell me that they were scheduling the Mr. Dig inspection. I informed them we had done that already and there were no underground pipes or wires where they would be building. They came out on the date we agreed on and started to put the footers in. My husband went out to talk to them about when the inspector would be coming. The crew knew nothing about the inspection. My husband then called Beachy Barns and the gentleman on the phone told him that we were supposed to call the inspector. After talking the man from the Beachy Barns agreed to call. Work was halted while we waited for the inspector, who had agreed to come out that morning. After the inspection the building went up fast. At intervals I watched them work and they were very efficient. It was a three man crew and not once did I see one of them just standing around watching. They were always doing something. They had pre-assembled the walls as the barn was so big and it took them about 6 hours to complete the project.

Description of Work: My wife and I drove to Beachy Barns about 5 weeks ago to look at what they had to offer.There we met Dale Beachy who showed us various types of sheds we were interested in.We were very impressed by the quality and workmanship.I put a request for an 8 x 10 gable shed to be built on site. Dale said it would be about 5 weeks away.Sure enough they were out and had it installed in a matter of a few hours.

Every step was easy and went smoother than we could have hoped. The finished product is exactly what we wanted. They returned calls when they said, they were available when they said, they were up front about all costs and were as low pressure as you can get. They also gave us the name of a person who we wound up hiring to build the foundation for the shed - and that person was every bit as dependable and professional as Beachy Barns. Great work.
