 + -1 moreMilt's work is beautiful beyond words. My issue was that he was very clear that I wanted the stain in the kitchen and dining room to match. I had him put a test strip down in the kitchen but declined in the dining room as he knew what color I wanted. After applying the stain to both rooms he informed my husband that I wasn't going to be happy as the dining room took the stain darker than the kitchen. In my mind the moment he knew it was going to be darker he should have called me so I could see it and we could make the correction. He didn't do that. He then wanted $2,200.00 to correct the problem.
Description of Work: Refinished and repaired all hardwood floors in the entire house (upstairs and downstairs).

 + -1 moreThey were great to work with. Milt is very professional and knows what he is doing. He came in and did the work as promised and our floors look great. We did have it done in two stages with stage one being done in the fall and winter of 2010 and second stage being done in spring of 2012. The floors from the first stage still look like he just finished them, and they have been very easy to maintain.
Description of Work: They refinished the hardwood floors in our basement, first floor and part of the 2nd floor. Which included 3 bedrooms, a sitting room and 2 hallways, the basment included two sets of stairs,an office and a large rec room. The first floor included 2 dining rooms, a stairway and hallway.
