He was very technically proficient, and replaced some broken hinges on the track. I couldn't have experienced, a more positive level of service. Was able to get appointment within 24 hours which worked out great. Technician identified the problem right away and gave me the price quote, Replaced the IR sensors with new ones. Work was professional and attention to detail great. Also did a little "tune-up" on the door with lubricating track wheels and hinge joints, and tightening bolts (and one replacement). Great service! Technician answered all questions and very helpful.

Company replaced the springs on my overhead garage door on 1/13/13. So when I was unable to open my garage door I thought it was the springs. Service call proved otherwise. Turned out to be the door opener this time, which they replaced in a timely manner. I have been using this company for years and here's why. They did not charge me for the service call. They gave me a 5 percent senior discount. They recommended a product that they felt would be the best for my needs and not the most expensive model. But most importantly they act professionally and they treat you like you're their most important customer. I definitely would use Pickerington Overhead Garage Door Co. and would highly recommend them.

Embarrassingly well. It was a simple blockage of the sensor. To make the call worth the $$, he cleaned, oiled, checked everything. He didn't need to, and I appreciated that and his kind, personable nature.

Garage door would not close all the way down and most of the time would open again when trying to close. They inspected the garage door and the motor and found the problem. The wires at the IR sensors were rusted. They replaced the wires and the garage door started working properly. Very nice and professional.

I found this provider via Angie's List and I'm glad I did. I called the office on Wednesday and was able to get an installation appointment on Saturday. I was quoted an estimate for the installation at the time which was reasonable. Dave showed up within the quoted time frame that Saturday. The installation was quick too. I was doing things around the house and before I knew it, he knocked on the door to let me know he was finished. He programmed the keypad and also went over the features of the garage door. I was really impressed with the promptness, professionalism and conscientiousness--Dave even left the packaging neatly sitting beside the garbage can in the garage. Very happy with my new, quiet garage door opener!

My door broke late yesterday evening so I decided to wait until this morning to get someone to repair it. I'd heard of Pickerington Overhead Garage Door from a friend and saw they had good reviews here. I emailed them at 7 a.m. with a picture of the broken door and before I could finish my coffee they called me at 7:25. They said they could be out between noon and 1 p.m. depending on how the jobs before me went. They arrived before 1 p.m. and had the door repaired before 2 p.m. Not only did they fix the door but Terry gave me some great tips for maintaining my door and preventing problems. Overall an excellent experience. They even accept credit cards which makes it very convenient.

Excellent, arrived at scheduled time 9:30 A.M, was done in two hours, explained how it works with the remote keypad and openers. Was very organized, you could tell he had pride in his work and wanted to please the customer, very satisfied

I called on 4/14/15 and spoke with Dave about our current opener and I told him that I wanted to get it replaced with a battery backup unit. He told me the price and that they could be out the next day between 1-3PM. Right at 1PM, Terry showed up to install the new opener. He took the old opener and all of the boxes and packaging from the new opener. The price was exactly what I was quoted on the phone. I've used this company 4 times in the past, so this was the 5th time I've used their services. I've dealt with Dave and Terry on all 5 occasions. Needless to say, but I'm EXTREMELY pleased with their outstanding service and I feel their prices are very fair. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend them!!!!

GREAT experience! Called on a Saturday and had a call back within 24 hours. They were able to come out on Monday but I was not going to be in town so we set it for Thursday. They gave me a time window that they would arrive. They were 30 minutes early (very good thing in my opinion). They diagnosed it, gave me an estimate, and had the part with them and had it repaired in 20 minutes. My unit is close to 30 years old and they said as long as it is working, no reason to consider replacing it, just repair. This was most appreciated as I could have been told by someone else that the unit is close to 30 years old and should replace it. Bottom line is that they are very honest and sincere. I will definitely call them if I need anything further, and no one else. As a side note, the reason the repair cost may seem a bit high is that I also elected to buy an extra remote (which they also had with them!) and had nothing to do with the repair. If you have a need, call these folks they are outstanding!!

We just closed on our new home and were in a hurry to purchase two garage door openers for our three car garage. I was given a very reasonable price for product plus installation. On the day of service they were on right on time and got straight to work. They were very professional and and completed the job within a reasonable amount of time. Called on New Years Day due to spring on garage door breaking. The came out same day and right on time. When they inspected the door, they felt the spring was too small for the weight of the door (error by the previous repairman). The door now runs better than it has in years. They also oiled and cleaned the track so you can barely hear the door as it operates. They were all I could have asked for. I would highly recommend Pickerington Overhead Garage Door.

Adjusted more than what what I had identified as the issue, the door works much better and quieter than before. I am very happy with the service and would certainly use them again.

Called on a Sunday Evening and I received their returned phone call by 8:00am on Monday. He was able to come to the house on the same day. He replaced our Torsion Spring and checked all connections and even checked our lights since one was out in the Garage! We are a repeat customer and will use them again if needed.
