Very prompt, workers were wonderful and knowledgeable .Biggest con was never got final itemized bill. Bottom line is that they did a very good job and I would definitely hire them again.

Had Direct home Improvement do a complete remodel of our master-bath. All work was completed in a professional, timely manner. Justin (foreman) is a real whiz ! I would strongly recommend them for any projects you may have in mind.

They were good and very professional. The price was reasonable.

Jerry was prompt and friendly. However, I got the impression that he'd rather have spent his time estimating a bigger job like a full remodel for the bathroom. He talked about how the downspouts would be an easy DIY fix. Nevertheless, he eventually called one of his people to see when they might be able to come out and do the job. When he hung up, he said that the guy would be able to do the whole job, bathroom, downspouts, and window frame, all for $450 (if I recall correctly). He wrote the number down on the back of a business card, apologizing for not having a more formal piece of paper. The number struck me as unreasonably low, given the reports I'd seen of similar projects, and nothing was written down of the specifics of what I wanted, which I feared could lead to misunderstandings later. His estimate turned out to be 1/3 of what two other people estimated, and their estimates were explicitly broken down for me. As a result, I went with one of the others, who seemed to be more professional, and have a more serious interest in doing the job.

See above. Their daily cleanup was timely and excellent. They removed and reinstalled our old sink as was necessary during the weeks of construction. We were without a sink only 5 days during this time. They discovered imperfections on some of the cabinet doors when they were delivered and had them timely replaced by the manufacturer. They even insulated our old dishwasher to make it run quieter. Their personnel were uniformly respectful of our needs, very pleasant to work with and demonstrated a work ethic that is not commonly found today. The company owner returned our phone calls promptly and managed the scheduling extremely well.

Jerry Davis, the owner, was prompt in visiting my home to give me an estimate; took measurements and discussed and made suggestions to improve on the 1/2 bath that I originally designed for the basement area. Two days after the initial contact he stopped again at my home and gave me a "virtual tour" disc and paper drawing to show exactly the layouts (one for a 1/2 bath; the other which included a shower--since at the time I hadn't quite decided to go with a 1/2 or full bath) and what the bathroom would look like upon completion. Three days after signing the contract, work began and both installations which included tiling in the upstairs bathroom was completed in 9 1/2 days to my delight. The Company's two employees who worked on this installation were exceptional in their attitude, helpfulness, friendliness, expertise, and professionalism. They did an amazing, beautiful job!! They cleaned up the area at the end of every day. Also, the gentleman laying the tile also did an excellent job and the flooring is just beautiful. I am very pleased with the bathrooms now. I couldn't have been any luckier in choosing this company and would highly recommend them to my family and friends.

It was a simple remodel job and we got other quotes as well. Overall, theirs was a fair estimate, but it wasn't the best price so we decided not to use them. They were on the higher end of the spectrum. When they came out, they were very professional. We didn't have any ill feelings about that. We could tell that they were qualified and knew what they needed to do. The price was a little high in my regard. They were responsive. They called me right back and kept in correspondence. They were punctual.

We cannot say enough about Jerry and Justin. What a terrific experience. They delivered exactly what we were looking for and they did it on time (4 1/2 weeks) We did not have the first problem and they were responsive beyond our expectation. Quite frankly, you would be crazy to go with any other company! OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE! Wish that there was an A+ rating!

Overall it was not a professional presentation or follow through.

From the initial meeting, preparation and even the proposal presentation which included a DVD graphic of what the basement would look like when finished, Jerry was extemely attentive. He made suggestions based on the layout of the basement and listened to us as we noted features that we wanted to include. His proposal was thorough, responsive and very competitive. His lead construction team (Justin and Larry) were very professional and we enjoyed their presence during construction. They also offered suggestions as the project went along. The construction team also performed some maintenance in a couple other areas of the house "while they were at it." We were so accustomed to companies whose promises were more than they delivered and poor customer service so it was quite delightful to work with a company who really puts an emphasis on service. The end result was a truly remarkable area which will serve as the centerpiece for our entertaining. Project cost to me is a combination of dollar cost and value received. The dollar cost was competitive and we received value far beyond the actual dollars expended. I would highly recommend DHI to anyone considering home remodeling.

They took an unusable basement to a awesome bedroom and a bath and a half and a family room!
