Very quick process, was very responsive. Would definately use this company again in the future if needed. Mr. Gilliland was very knowledgeable and professional.

It was a one day job. I had a lot of stains on my roof as a result of trees and mildew. So, the guy from Roof Clean who came to get the job done, scrubbed and cleaned the roof. He put some zinc strips up there and informed me that it will take care of the problem. So, I have to wait and see as to what happens. He used to have a roofing company and I have used him before to do a roof. He does a good job and I don’t have any problems with him. I felt that the price charged by him was reasonable, as I didn’t get any quotes from anyone else. I had never had a roof cleaning done before and it looks fine now. My overall experience with him was good. I hope I don’t have to use him again, as I hope I can sell the house before I have the roof cleaned again.

The communications was great and they were on time to start the morning. I was amazed that they didn't stop until the work was completed, about six hours. It was amazing how they tied themselves off to work on this high pitched roof.

George was very personable and explained in detail the method he used to clean the roof. He guarantees his work for a year, as well. We are very glad we went with Roof Clean to clean our roof and highly recommend him to others.

Great experience. Met with George first. He was very personable and professional. He explained exactly what was happening and how he would fix it. He took a visual of the entire roof. He brought written references. They called the day before, arrived on time and did a great job. They even cleaned our patio furniture. I would definitely refer and/or use again.

The cleaning job went as expected, took two days, and was performed by George and his son. They cleaned up very well, and asked several times if everything was OK. After the first day, when you could see how well the black was coming off the roof, I asked George if he would be willing to do the same to my deck! It too had large areas of mold, also black. It's a big deck, but they went ahead and did this too. The deck really looks good now, down to the original wood, ready for staining. We negotiated an extra fee for this extra work, which was really worth it. All in all we have been happy with the quality of work and would recommend this company strongly for anyone in need.

George was very responsive to the message that I left on his voice mail returning the call the same day. Additionally, he fit us into his schedule for an estimate on the same day (late afternoon/evening appointment). He provided information on how he performed cleaning and where he recommended placing chemical strips. George was educational on why roofs experience molding issues. George indicated that work would be done the 2 weeks following. He called on the Monday evening of the 2nd week and let us know that he would be at our home the following morning for the 3 days estimated to perform the work. Work was completed on time for the amount agreed upon.

I found Roof Clean, Inc. on Angie's List and called to make an appointment with George Gilliland, the owner. He was very prompt and professional and answered my questions demonstrating his genuine expertise. He was very thorough. I wasn't sure if I needed to replace the roof or if cleaning would be the only thing needed at this time. I appreciated his honesty and integrity. I decided to contract with George. He arrived when he said he was going to come and over a two day time period with his son assisting him, he power washed the roof multiple times, using a safe cleaning solution, installed the zinc strips, cleaned the gutters inside and out making sure everything was working properly, and power washed all the overhangs and eaves to remove any remnants from the cleaning. He caulked the entire chimney flashing, repaired the cupola and thoroughly cleaned the walks, patio, and driveway. I have never seen the roof look as good as it does now! I was very pleased with George's workmanship, his professionalism, and his attention to detail. I would not hesitate to recommend George to anyone.

George really knows his roofs and his product. He can explain your roof's condition at the same time as estimating what needs to be done to make it sparkling clean. Our roof was really infested with algae and moss and he was the only person who climbed up on the roof to inspect the extent of the damage before giving an estimate. He cleaned the roof, the siding and our front porch walkway all in one day. He even pressure washed our deck. And he went beyond the call of duty when he pressure cleaned our wood bridge in the backyard. I learned a lot about roofs and I can safely say I have a good clean and healthy roof thanks to George.

The porch roof was extremely moss covered and it was restored to like-new condition. It looks better than when we moved in four years ago. The main roof was starting to get bad and after the service it looks *really* good! If I didn't know better, I would guess it was new. The money to get this work done was very well spent and potentially saved us thousands if we would have let the condition to worsen to the point we needed a new roof. George was a very down to earth kind of guy. He was candid and honest and took pride in showing us his previous work on homes he had done in the past. Even though the price he quoted me was generous; I at no time felt pressured to make the purchase. Our extended family was also impressed with the work and will very likely ask us about George when the time comes they need their roof cleaned.

George promptly responded to our call and was out the next day to inspect the existing conditions and give an estimate. He met with us to explain the process for which he has taken special training. He began and finished work punctually as promised. In addition, he power cleaned all gutters, downspouts, and front porch at NO extra charge! The roof absolutely looked like new, but the roof valleys were rusted and detracted from the new look. George removed the rust and painted the valleys. He has followed up with us to make sure we were happy with the job. We couldn't be more pleased.

It went great. George was very thorough and did an amazing job. I wish I would have taken before and after pictures. He explained what the problem was, how he was going to fix it. He went over his work and experience and felt he was very professional, honest and most of all trustworthy. I would recommend him to anyone who needs their roof cleaned. I also had a squirrels nest tucked under a portion of my roof. He took the time to gently remove the nest and set it in an area, where hopefully, the squirrels can carry on with their lives.

We noticed that the north facing roof had developed black streaks. We called George, he came out and gave us an estimate and provided pictures of previous roof cleaning jobs. He also had references to show. He was extremely professional, very clear about what needed to be done, why it needed to be done, and how he was going to do it. He was able to come out the following week to perform the work. He arrived early and was able to have the roof cleaned the same day. I would recommend Roof Clean to anyone wanting to get their roof looking like new again.

I called Roof Clean Inc of Monday 11/19/2007 and made an appointment with George to give me an estimate. On Tuesday 11/20/2007, George arrived on time, explained what needed to be done an why. His estimate seemed quite reasonable. He said that weather permitting he would perform the work the next day. The weather was ideal on 11/21/2007 and George arrived on time and did the work. George is extremely knowledgeable in the roof business as he has more than 20 years experience installing them and cleaning them. He gave me a lot of facts that I would not have otherwise known about. I would highly recommend him for any roof or power washing application that you may need to have done.

The roof looks brand new and hopefully will never have the ugly black fungus on it again.

George was scheduling a roof cleaning job with our neighbor who had gotten other, more expensive estimates. I checked him on Angie's List and scheduled on the same day. He came as scheduled, cleaned roof, hammered raised nails, installed zinc strips to prevent future damage, painted flashing, cleaned everything up. They were very professional and friendly. I would recommend him to my family and friends.

George and his son arrived in the morning on the day promised. Set up and had the roof cleaned by 3 pm. This consisted of wetting down the roof, applying the stain remover and bacterial killer, then power washing away the residue, followed by one or two rinses depending on the severity of the residue. He then power washed the back and front of the house, the back patio and plant foliage, and the front porch. Finally, he installed the zinc strips under the top row of shingles to prevent the stain from returning. In addition, I have a small yard shed attached to the patio that I built three years ago, and I asked him about how I should go about installing the strips and where to get them. He demonstrated to me how to install the strips, and then decided to give me a number of strips sufficient to do the shed roof myself if I should decide to do it.

WE WERE REAL PLEASED. THEY CAME RIGHT AWAY, GAVE THE ESTIMATE, AND WERE ABLE TO DO THE WORK WITHIN TWO OR THREE DAYS.

My roof badly needed cleaning of a heavy algae growth. I obtained two estimates for cleaning. Although Roof Clean's quote was twice as high as the other firm, I felt more confident that George Gilliland had a better grasp of the problems and needed solution (the other firm said the job would take only one day, which I knew was not enough). He made a very thorough, convincing sales presentation. He scheduled the work within a week of my acceptance of the proposal. George and his crew of two worked two long days to thoroughly clean the roof, the gutters and house siding above part of the roof. In addition, George power washed the front porch floor, deck, patio, stone walls, greenhouse and driveway to remove all traces of algae washed from the roof. He thoroughly inspected the roof, and repaired some faulty flashing and replaced some missing shingle fragments (as a former roofing contractor, he is well qualified).

George, the company owner, thoroughly explained the process, demonstrated his expertise by referring to all the homes his former company had re-roofed and showed us evidence of many satisfied customers. After his presentation, I decided not to obtain any other estimates. He performed the work on time and although he was only hired to clean the roof, left the front of the house and driveway cleaner than when he arrived. He also inspected the roof for damage, loose flashing and secured our gutter screens and peak vent. I highly recommend Roof Clean, Inc.
