The Maids of Toledo

Description of Work: I used The Maids Home Services for housecleaning. They cleaned the bathroom, kitchen, living room, family room and one bedroom. They vacuumed.

Description of Work: This is by far one of the worst companies I have ever done business with, due to all the items checked above! They did not show up as scheduled and were hours late with little concern and no warning. The workers were slower than slow and suspect they were being trained at my house - on MY dollar! The work was spotty, at best, and incomplete by their own checklist and the price exhorbant!!! I rotate between several housecleaning companies because I often need someone somewhat last minute and not on a regular schedule. The Maids price, for using a much similar checklist as all the other companies, was almost (3) times higher. The checklist was incomplete and the work poor, at best. Calls went unanswered and the excuses were always given to others not me. I never so much as received an 'I'm sorry' even though work is guarenteed within 24 hours. Since they never answered my calls they claimed they were not obligated for a thing. I never asked for my money back only a fair price but even if that wasn't possible I would have expected and 'I'm sorry you were unhappy and what can we do to fix this'. I received one email in response to my many attempts to contact. Via the email I heard how awful my house way, how dirty, how too big, etc. It is the first time I hadn't received an appreciation from one single person in the company. I am usually thanked for my business and told how nice the house is for them - go figure!
