Kyle Sherman was supposed to begin work the first week of August, 2014. After multiple broken promises to show up, we finally called him and expressed how important it was that he make good on his word and get this work done before winter, as we were holding off on other work while waiting on him. First, he told us that if we wanted to find someone else to do the work, that was okay. After we told him, "No, we want you to do the work because it will be next to timpssible to find someone else to do it this time of the year on short notice." He finally showed up in November (4 months late). The work that he did was done well and, overall, we were pleased with the results. However, he did not do the work that he billed us for (16' of trench drain when, actually, he installed (2) 4" drains) and at the same time, he did some work that he did not bill us for (new concrete step and approach). His invoice matched his quote exactly however, I'm not sure how we came out cost-wise overall.

DId a preliminary visit to scope out the project. Set a date for the work and showed up with all the necessary equipment in and out in 4 hrs .

This company is very professional, as well as prompt. All areas were cleaned up by the crew upon completeion of the job. We would unhesitatingly recommend Sherman Excivating to any one requiring profession, honest, prompt and afordable excivating and concrete work.

I was very impressed that Kyle gave me a binder showing pictures of the progression of the work (including the metal rebar in the concrete). Of all of the home repairs I've had done, I've never been more satisfied with the quality, value, and quick work. Overall, he was very professional, and I highly recommend him.

I got 3 quotes from contractors. Sherman was recommended by a larger corporation not available to preform the work in time frame needed. Based on their response, availability and price, I chose Sherman over the others. Replacement of septic system had to be completed and inspected prior to the septic permit expiring, or else the system requirements would change based on new regulations. We had approximately one month and in the spring when rain made some days impossible to operate, system was in place and the inspection approved and document within the deadline.
