Phil Casey

I contacted Phil who was relatively new as a real estate agent, but knows the Toledo, and especially Perrysburg and Ottawa Hills areas very, very well. He grew up in Ottawa Hills and has lived in Perrysburg for over 20 years. Phil first spent time gettign to know what I was looking for, and my price range, and then helped me to decide where I wanted to focus my search. We spent a lot of time looking at very diferent areas, and home types, before I was comfortable with looking in Ottawa Hills. When I found a house I liked, I arranged to come to town for a day of actual walk-throughs, and Phil had arranged for about four houses including the one I was looking most closely at, so I could see what else was in the range. He was right there, and helped me to look at the area, the traffic, and a lot of other issues that are important for a long term purchase. I eventually settled on a house, and since I am out of town, Phil arranged for the inspection, and for all of the other details that had to be arranged before closing. Everything went well. and I got a great house at a great price. Phil's advice on what to offer and counter were very helpful, and saved me several thousand dollars. Even after the purchase, Phil helped me locate a tree service to take down some trees that were too close to the house. since the estimates he found varied by more than $1,300, he also saved me some money on that.And after closing, Phil even helped with some minor move-in matters, and helped me secure the house until I fully move in. All-in-all, a very pleasant experience. Highly recommend Phil for real estate purchase/ sales, especially in either Perrysburg or Ottawa Hills.
