The locksmith was very professional, helpful, and talked through the work before beginning anything. He also provided his recommendations on the setup without making it feel like he was forcing me into a decision. He kept me updated through the process to let me know his progress. The work was extremely well done and a great value for the price. I highly recommend using Locke's and will do so for any future work.

I brought the safe over for him to inspect and he was able to open the safe with me present. After I removed the contents he said he would call me if he was able to make a key. I got a call within 2 hours and he had made a key and I picked the safe up. I would highly recommend Locke's Locksmith in the future.

The lock to back door fell apart in my hands. I took it off and called Locke's. Locke's is a mobile service, and the service call price is $70 during normal business hours within his business area. However, as he was home at the time, he offered me the option to see him and avoid the trip charge if I came over quickly. I did, he examined the lock, found a better replacement, took the well worn key, carefully determined the correct original notches, and created appropriate keys from the new mold. If you would like to do what I did, please call first and ask if you can show up as you will need to catch him at home, and that is hit or miss. If you do and he is able to see you, he can save you the trip charge, which in my case reduced my actual costs to $50. Joe's professionalism and good nature were quite impressive. He took the time to explain each step as he went as well as how to line up and replace the lock in the door. It worked exactly as he said it would. I highly recommend him for any work that you might have, including creating new keys on site when locked out of your car, etc. It was a very good experience.

Called them on Christmas Eve around 330pm and they were here in 15 minutes. Very professional and quick. He could've just opened the door and left but he took the time to help us make sure it didn't happen again by rekeying the lock and making us copy keys. My wife and I were glad we called them and impressed with the responsiveness.

Serviceman was professional, a couple minutes late, but overall the work was done very quickly and done well. I would highly recommend them, I used their West Toledo Office Dispatch.

I called Saturday, July 5, because I'd inadvertently locked myself out of the front of my newly purchased house due to a faulty storm door lock. My initial appointment was for the following Monday, since I didn't want to pay extra for a Saturday visit. However, Joe Locke called and said he had the time to complete the job that day, but would still charge it as a weekday visit. What was to be a quick 10 min. appt turned into about a 2-hr job, as Joe accommodated my last-minute request to replace the locks for both front and back storm doors and house doors, thus saving me about $80 since I wouldn't have to make a second appt and incur another consultation fee. He also fixed a couple of deadbolt issues. He was very helpful and professional in answering my questions. I was pleased with the work done. And after all that, he still honored my Angie's List coupon!

I called and booked an appointment right away, and was able to have all of the locks changed in my new house. He listened to what I wanted and offered less expensive and/or safer alternatives. Would use Locke's again.

punctual, professional, courteous. had everything he needed to do the job. rekeying the deadbolt required additional skill due to unusual circumstances with previous installation. gave me some good advice on problems with interior doors.

They were fantastic! Came out on a day where our street was undergoing repairs. They called MDOT to get the neccesary clearances to get to our house (they were not letting anyone but residents on the street)! Going that extra distance was awesome!

The lady who took our call was very polite & courteous. We called around 10:00 a.m. and she said she could have a locksmith out there by 4:00 p.m. that same day. Shortly after, she called back and said a locksmith was in the area, finished his job and could meet us at 1:15 p.m. He was prompt, courteous, professional but yet had a sense of humor especially dealing with 2 women. He also gave us some advice on other things wrong with the doors. I would recommend this company to anyone in a heart beat. Thank you Angie.

My newly purchased house had different locks on each door and the previous owners only left us 1 key and its copy that actually did anything. There were two other doors to the outside that had locks but no keys to unlock them. I called Locke's and within an hour they were at my door and started re-keying the locks. Everything went smoothly and within 45 min I had three fully functioning (and now unlockable) door locks. I was pleased with the entire process.

He showed up on time. He worked quickly and gave me some good advice on what brand of locks to use.

The entire project was on time, efficiently mangaged and quick. I felt the price was fair in that it included products,installation and travel time.
