My wife and I have purchased over a dozen properties during our marriage and her compentancy, knowledge attention to details, accessibility and responsiveness Is the best we have ever experienced. We highly recommend her and her support staff. It is important to Sally that whoever she is representing is satisfied with the process and a favorable outcome. She continually works to understand the needs of her client and to fulfill all of them. Sally further provided excellent recommendations to licensed and qualified service providers, including plumbers, structural engineers and flooring. Come to find out, these service providers also had high marks on Angie's List.

As a first time home-buyer, I was concerned that this would be an incredibly intimidating experience. Thankfully, Sally and her staff were amazingly professional and easily guided me through the entire process. She was not only immediately responsive to any questions or concerns that I had but anticipated any problems with the process. She expertly guided me through every part of the process including loan coordination, title transfer, negotiation, etc. - and was clearly highly respected by all of the experts she recommended to me and the seller’s agent. In conclusion, I cannot recommend anyone more highly and would absolutely do business with Sally again - as a buyer or a seller.

We found Sally on Angie?s List, so we just cold called her. We were first time home buyers, and we did not really even know what we wanted. Sally was extremely helpful in providing help in our home buying decision. Sally always had our back throughout the whole process. She always made sure we were 100% comfortable with all our decisions, and she prioritized us finding a house we wanted not just finding a house. When we did find a house we liked, Sally dropped everything and met us on a Sunday afternoon so we could move fast. She did a great job at every step of the process for us from initial contact up until closing. I found Sally based on her reviews from Angie's List and Zillow. I sent her an email and she responded within an hour... that's a sign of a realtor that is on top of things. From that point we continued emailing and speaking on the phone regarding my husband's and my move to Ohio. We were moving from Colorado. Neither of us had lived in the Cleveland area before, but he has traveled here for work for the past seven years so he is familiar with the area. We were going into this transaction with what we thought was enough details, we knew our budget, our idea neighborhood, what we wanted in a house, what we wanted in a school districts for our future children etc. Sally listened to every single detail. When we first met Sally she was incredibly attentive and was able to devote a lot of time to us while we spent a week in Cleveland looking for a home. My husband and I joke about it now... but Sally knew what we wanted before we knew what we wanted. She told us on the first day of actually meeting her that we would want to live near X, that X would be too far away, to consider that commute is this long, but it can take that long etc etc etc. She had all of the details. When we found the house that we fell in love with Sally knew we had to jump on it and helped us prepare what we thought was the best offer we could do, we submitted it and it was accepted. From that moment on Sally had been on top of the selling agent, the inspectors, the lender, the title company, everyone. If they had a hand in this deal she knew about it and she wanted to be sure that we were being treated right and not being taken advantage of. She checked in with us consistently to see how we were doing, to see how the selling of our house in Colorado was going, to see if she could do anything for us. She was there every step of the way. When we arrived in Cleveland we were embraced by Sally and her generosity. She welcomed us to Cleveland with such enthusiasm and I will never forget how special she made me feel. Sally knows real estate; the good, the bad, and everything in between. She loves Cleveland; she is proud to be selling your home or finding you a home here. She loves her job; this is something that she is passionate about. These are all things that make Sally a wonderful real estate agent but what makes her stand out from the rest is how invested she is in you as her client. Sally makes you feel like you are the only person she is working with and the only home she cares about. She cares about you, your family, and your home. I cannot recommend Sally enough. I want to live in my house for a long time, but I'd love to work with her again. :)

Sally has been knowledgeable and skillful throughout the process, being sensitive to my needs. When I first started my home search I explained what I thought I wanted in a property, and I started receiving alerts of homes that might meet my criteria, plus I was given the ability to perform many searches on the Howard Hanna portal. Sally was never pushy, allowing me to do research on my own without frequent calls or emails. Sally made a point of getting to know me so she could better understand what I was seeking. This personalized service was wonderful. She would ask questions or kindly point out aspects that I may not have considered. She never pushed her ideas or her listings. Her negotiation skills are phenomenal. During the bid-inspection-contingency phase she communicated frequently and she quickly answered my questions. She wanted to make sure I was knowledgeable about the property to minimize surprises after closing, and she wanted to make sure I would be happy with my purchase. Perfect! First, Sally provided us with detailed suggestions for preparing our home for sale. Then, Sally and her team prepared a very professional marketing plan. She knows what buyers are looking for and she instantly recognizes the strengths of your property. Her selling approach is tailed for your property. It's not any "one size fits all" package. When the first offer arrived (about 36 hours after the listing went live), she reviewed it with us...line by line so that we understood everything and then helped draft a reasonable counter that was quickly accepted. After the initial paperwork was done, she carefully monitored the buyer's inspection and financing process so that we were able to close on time. For example, she knew when the buyer's appraiser was going to inspect the home and she prepared and delivered for him a package with details of comparable properties. You're also not left alone when you work with Sally. Nobody can be there 24/7 to answer your emails and calls. But Sally has a support team that fills in almost instantly when she's not available. The best word to describe Sally: Professional!

Sally is the consummate professional! She is all over every detail. She communicates everything clearly and checks to make sure that is true. When I reviewed her sales, I almost did not call her because she has many sales of very expensive properties, and I had some concern that our rather modest home might not demand her attention, however she never once did anything to convey to us that we were not her most important client, and I truly appreciate that! We had our home on the market for several months. A slae fell through and our real estate agent was not drumming up much business. Through a recommendation, we switched to Sally Messinger at Howard Hanna. Sally and her team had a different marketing approach than the previous agent. They took much better photos of the house and came up with a plan tha got our house sold in a very short time.

She was very knowledgeable about the overall process of buying a house and the area. She was also very responsive to whatever I had questions and needed to see houses.
