This guy is the greatest! He did the estimate quickly and actually did the job 2 days later - on the day after Thanksgiving! They did a great job, were prompt, professional and effective. I would definitely use them again and recommend them highly.

Bill was OUTSTANDING!! very accomodating with his schedule. cleaned up after himself so well that it looked cleaner after he left than when he arrived, we have 2 more floors to re-do and Bill will most certinely be MY FLOOR GUY!!

Bill was on time for the estimate and provided provided it via email later that day. It was clear and professional. Once I was ready to get the work going I called Bill and he called back later that day letting me know what days he had avaialbe. We worked out the start date and he was at my home on time and got right to work on that date. He worked hard for three straight days. I am so happy with him and his work. I would use Bill again if I need additional flooring done and will definately recommend him to my friends and family. I cant thank Bill enough for the awesome job he did...we love our new floors!!!

Bill "The Floor Guy" is a true craftsman. Several years ago Bill installed new white oak floors in our first floor to match the existing 40 year old floors and he refinished all of them so you cannot tell what is old vs. what is brand new. This year we had Bill refinish our master bedroom floors which were in pretty bad shape. They had oil residue spots from a very old petroleum based carpet pad, and a lot of staple holes and tack strip nails. I removed the carpet and pad and pulled up all the staples and nails. Bill and his crew sanded, and refinished the floors and they are beautiful. Bill is our go to hardwood floor guy.

They did a great job. They took floors that looked absolutely horrible and turned them into floors that was really beautiful.

He was very prompt and did the work well. He cleaned the place well and I liked his services. I will use him in the future.

Very timely and professional. First he came out and coated our floors with a semigloss polyurethane finish. It wasn't covered completly, there were some areas missed. So he came back and touched up some of the areas missed. Still there were areas that didn't look good so he offered to return and recover the entire floor with a highgloss finish. It looks much better this time but there are still several areas that he missed. He left a can of polyurethane, I touched up some of the places that were missed but there are still areas that are not covered. Bill is a very nice man and he worked hard to please us but he wasn't able to complete the job to our satisifaction.

I would highly recommend him. He is honest because he told us we didn't need things that others said we did, which saved us around 1000 dollars.

Bill was very prompt in returning my initial phone call. We were able to immediately set up an appointment for free counsel on October 1st. Bill was on time and very polite and professional. I got a good feeling when I first met him that he was very trustworthy. He was able to generate an estimate right away and I didn't have to wait. He started the work on Monday the 4th and finished on Wednesday the 6th. He was on time every day and he cleaned up every day when he finished. My living room floor and stairs look beautiful. The work looks professional and I thought it was a really good price for the work he did. I am thinking about getting my upstairs level refinished and I will definitely use "the Floor Guy" again.

It was good, we'll probably use him again. He was recommended to us by someone we knew. He worked quickly, it wasn't messy - he made sure and clean up after himself. He was very accommodating and open to if I wanted something done a certain way. I am pleased with the outcome, he did a nice job. We shopped around before hiring him so pricewise, he is definitely an "A".

He is really good, personable and very customer oriented. I had an issue with the floor and he was prompt about coming back in and fixing it.

He performed amazing work. He does the best work ever and I would recommend him to anyone. I don't know what he did to this day. If you ever need your floor refinished this is your guy. When I cam back, it looked like a wood floor you would see on a television commercial. He was really good to work with, and does amazing work.

Everything went well. I would not say they were slow, but methodical. A good job. He gave me an estimate and stuck to it. Very reasonable for the amount of work. Understand that you buy the wood flooring separately from a store and the installer's charges are separate. You will need to arrange for the wood to get from the flooring store to your house.

We were at the end of a long remodel and wanted to have the mess of the refinish over as soon as possible. I called Bill on a Monday and left a message, he called back quickly, I described the project (this was for a small space) and he gave me the estimate on the phone. His price was $50 less than another refinisher I talked to. Because he had a gap in his schedule, he was able to come out on Wednesday to sand the floor. He and another man showed up on time on Wednesday, completed the sanding and put down a sealing coat right away. They came back at the end of the day to put on a coat of polyurethane in order to complete the job in 2 rather than 3 days. The next morning Bill came back to put on the last coat.This was a big help, because our contractor was waiting to install the baseboards back in that space and he was able to do that Friday afternoon. The job required careful hand sanding around a radiator and new cabinetry, and a doorway that had existing wood floors that the new floor butted up against. When I pointed out that transition was a little high, Bill hand scraped it down a little more and the end result is excellent. We are very pleased with the levelness of the floor now and the finish. We are also pleased that Bill was able to get this job done for us so quickly - especially for such a small job. I would definitely use The Floor Guy again.

They are probably one of the best companies I've worked with. They are reliable. He does the job right. I'm very happy with the floor. I'm having him do some other work soon.

We went on vacation and asked The Floor Guy to refinish the floor while we were away. The floor looks GREAT and he was neat as a pin. We are very happy with the result. We thought the price was fair.

It went great! The floors look beautiful. I got the natural finish and they repaired and filled cracks as much as possible, and put on 3 coats of polyurethane. Bill explained the process in detail and called me daily with updates on how it was going.

The work was excellent. Bill was friendly, smart, reliable, and had fair pricing. And he cleaned up the sawdust. The experience was outstanding.

This is the 2nd job Bill has done for us. His prices are fair, he's very punctual and the work is great. The floor looks great.

Bill was very punctual for both the quotation and actual work. He was very upfront regarding some pet stains left by a former owner and gave us some insight as to what it would look like when finished. Another quote included the replacement of those boards and we didn't want to do that if at all possible. He originally quoted us $625, but ended up taking off $40. He's a nice guy and we'd like to have him back should we ever decide to dig up the nasty carpet in the master bedroom.

It was a total pleasure working with Bill and his crew. I wanted a craftsman who didn't just sell the job, but also worked the job and Bill was the guy. He and two workers were very skilled and gave us very good instructions on how to protect the floor during cabinet installation and how to care the floor. He was very flexible with our schedule; for example he installed the new floor, sanded the old and new, then put 2 coats of polyurethane, then came back weeks later after the cabinets were complete to fix any scratches from the cabinet people and put down the final coat. I highly recommend The Floor Guy.

I called the company that made the floor, and they were useless! Then I called the Floor Guys and they were absolutely extraordinary! They had a great price, and were able to solve problems that the manufacturer couldn't even solve. They not only solved the problem, but restored my floors to look even better then when they were brand new!
