+ -1 morePhil was hired to replace a church roof that was damaged by hail. In the process he uncovered other issues we had with our roof. He resolved all issues within the amount awarded us for the damage. They also were able to provide a large enough crew to complete the entire church roof within 72 hours. |I expect to hire Phil and his crew for future repair needs at our church.

We trust him completely and would recommend him to anyone who needs home improvement work such as roofing, siding, windows, bath remodeling, wood floor installation, basement remodeling, etc. His prices are very fair, and work is completed in a very timely fashion. He is very particular about cleaning up after work is completed and making sure we are satisfied. We have given Phil's name to everyone who has asked us for a contractor reference.

+ -1 moreHe did not properly level my GE stove, so I had to call the manufacturer’s service department to fix the problem. I think that he installed the cheapest pull down steps on the market. I thought I would have gotten better service and materials for 854 dollars.
Description of Work: He installed pull down steps in the garage, adjusted doors, installed weather stripping, repaired a kitchen cabinet drawer and leveled my stove.

+ -1 moreJOB 1: FAST RESPONSE AND QUICKLY COMPLETED. WE RECEIVED NO PRESSURE TO EXPAND THE JOB TO INCLUDE THE REST OF THE BATHROOM RENOVATION (WHICH MY HUSBAND AND I INTENDED TO COMPLETE ON OUR OWN). VERY RESPONSIVE CONTRACTOR WITH AN EXTREMELY HARD WORKING ASSISTANT (ROBERT). FRIENDLY AND POLITE. JOB 2: THIS IS OUR SECOND JOB WITH PHIL AND HE WAS GREAT AS USUAL. PHIL GOES THE EXTRA MILE AND STAYS WITH THE JOB UNTIL IT IS FINISHED. THE END RESULT WAS SUPER, EVEN THOUGH WE DID NOT OPT TO REMOVE ALL THE OLD WALL TILES. INDEED, THE NEW BATHROOM LOOKS GREAT! PHIL AND ROBERT ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND PROVIDED EXCELLENT CLEAN-UP.
Description of Work: JOB 1 ($3,000): PHIL REMOVED A 40+ YEAR OLD UGLY GREEN TUB AND REPLACED IT WITH A BEAUTIFUL WHITE TUB WITH GLASS DOORS. HE INSTALLED NEW PLUMBING AND CULTURED MARBLE SURROUND. PART OF THE RENOVATION INCLUDED REMOVING OLD TILES FROM THE WALLS, WHICH WAS A LABOR INTENSIVE JOB. WALLS ABOVE TUB WERE LEFT ''PAINT READY'' . JOB 2 ($6,500): RIPPED OUT OLD TUB AND REPLACED IT WITH A WALK-IN SHOWER WITH GLASS DOORS AND CULTURED MARBLE SURROUND, REPLACED BATHROOM WINDOW, INSTALLED NEW TOILET AND PEDESTAL SINK, SECURED SQUEAKY FLOOR AND LAID NEW LINOLEUM & NEW FLOOR BASEBOARDS. ADDED EXTRA HANDRAILS IN SHOWER FOR ELDERLY PERSON.
