PERSONAL PROPERTY SWIMMING POOL SERVICE

Personal Property Pool svc...Spoke to a nice and knowledgable gentleman about a liner replacement. Gave him my address and he said he would be by to look at the pool over the weekend. The weekend came and went and he did not show..Called back on 4-16-19 and he assured me that I am on the schedule and he was going to stop out on 4-19-19. NO SHOW and NO CALL. I understand this is one of the busiest months for the pool industry, but don't string a potential customer along if you don't have the capacity to take on another job.

Great, not one single complaint.

There's nobody better. He was good, the price was good and he was excellent. Everything worked out. Our pool is huge, about 20 by 40. Dan Reed comes in and gets the job done and he's out of here so he's very punctual with his service and he does it right the first time. You don't have to call him back out.

He's excellent in everything. He did a very good work. He has worked for us before and he continues to be very professional. The cost was right there with everybody else, as well as his estimate. He does a quality work. He does a terrific work for me. He's the best pool man in the Columbus area. His knowledge of pool liners stood out to me. He comes in and he does the work in one day. He doesn't mess around. He's very efficient and very quick. I got what I paid for. The job was superior.

The inspection went well. He gave us a detailed inspection report how to get our pool up and running. The problem that we had was when we went to try to hire him he told us that his company had so many other clients and they could not get us in. He told us after giving us the estimate. I was very unhappy because I told him he knew well in advance before he came out to do our inspection that this project was to big for him. But instead of being honest with us letting us know that this project was to much he collected the 60.00 knowing he was not going to be doing the job. After having a discussion he sent us a check for 20 dollars of the money that we paid. I was still unhappy I believe that I should have received the full amount that I paid but I did not want to go back and forth with him so I just cashed the 20 dollar check and I left it alone but I would not be doing business with him anymore. It took forever for him to even send me the money also.

The pool was shocked and covered, ladder removed and filter motor stored for the winter.

A few days ago, in our swimming pool, a pipe carrying water at high pressure ruptured, and we tried to locate somebody to fix it. We contacted five companies but in all cases it was clear that quick results were out of the question. Finally, we were lucky to locate Daniel Reed through Angies List. When we called him he was working for a client but offered to come before the day was over to look at the problem and give us an estimate. He did come, after a full day's work, looked at the problem, made an estimate and asked if we liked him to do the job right away. We were delighted. He pulled out from his truck an identical replacement pipe and installed it very well at record speed. The following day,when the glue was dry we checked it and it worked perfectly. Daniel Reed appeared to us to have a superior competence in all things and quot;poolsand quot; Also he is a very nice person, pleasant to deal with.

I'm writing this in the hopes that this company will correct their issues with follow up. They'd been highly recommended to us by a friend who'd used them for liner replacement. I spoke to Dan by phone 7/9 and explained we had numerous gaping and small holes in our 27' above ground pool liner. He agreed to come out by Fri 7/12 to measure, show us us sample liners and give us an idea of cost quotes. (luckily our pool was still holding water but obviously needed replaced asap) We felt Dan was very friendly and knowledgeable. We fully intended to go with his company based on our first impression and the recommendation of our friend. I was disappointed that we didn't get any real idea of cost nor was there any written estimate. And the only liners we were shown were in a book and he didn't know what if any were in stock. Dan said he'd get back to us in a couple days. We agreed that was ok and I figured sometime early Monday. By mid-afternn no call so I called him and he said he hadn't gotten the info yet. But that he'd back to me later that day or night. My husband also called him Tues and Wed and was told he'd get back to him. It's now Sun 7/21 and neither of us ever heard back from Personal Pools. Leads us to assume this company must not have been interested in our business. Or, they're so busy they're too busy. Although it was easy to get ahold of Dan, that was not the case getting the info we needed to get our pool fixed. Come to find out our friend told us, oh yea. I ran into that. You just have to keep calling him. Well, we wanted to be able to swim this summer not next. lol Needless to say, we went with another company. Who we first started the same process on Wed 7/17 and by Sat 7/20 the job was complete. And they did meet our requirements including providing documentation etc.

Had several contractors come out and give us estimates. We selected Dan because of his experience, references, price and flexibility. We originally had Dan replace our pool liner in 2011 which he did a great job. He redid the vermiculite floor, added padding to the side walls, installed a bottom drain, worked on the skimmer, replaced the pump and installed what I think is a chlorination system. We were very pleased with his work. We had him replace the liner again in 2012 due to a bad wind storm late in the summer of 2011 which blew a glass table over and filled the pool with broken glass. Dan's estimates were very reasonable and since he did such a great job the first time, we became a repeat customer. Dan is very easy to work with and does great work. We would recommend Dan for all your pool work!! We have Dan now working on ordering and installing a new winter cover. I'll let you know how that goes.

Everything went pretty good. He is a very reputable contractor. He lived up to the expectations I had for the repair.

HE HAS A VERY MAGNETIC PERSONALITY. HE TREATS YOU LIKE A HUMAN BEING AND YOU CAN'T FIND ANYONE BETTER.
