Description of Work: WE HAD OUR DRIVEWAY AND FRONT WALK PAVED. WE ALSO HAD THE COMPANY TAKE THE BRICK PAVERS FROM THE WALKWAY AND MAKE A PATIO ON THE EDGE OF THE DRIVEWAY.

HE ALSO EXPLAINED TO ME WHY OTHER OPTIONS WOULDN''T BE A GOOD SOLUTION FOR MY FLOOR AND ANSWERED ALL OF MY QUESTIONS COMPLETELY. I FELT VERY CONFIDENT WITH HIS KNOWLEDGE OF CONCRETE AND HIS PROFESSIONALISM. I HAD A LOT OF COMPANIES THAT I WOULD LEAVE MY NAME AND NUMBER FOR TO CALL ME BACK FOR ESTIMATES AND MOST NEVER EVEN CALLED ME BACK. ONE COMPANY THAT THE CONDO ASSOCIATION GOT AN ESTIMATE FROM TREATED ME LIKE I DIDN''T KNOW WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT WHEN I WOULD ASK THEM QUESTIONS. SPEAKING AS A FEMALE DOING MAJOR RENOVATIONS ON MY OWN, I FEEL THAT MARK RODGERS CONSTRUCTION WAS A PERFECT FIT FOR WHAT I NEEDED. I WOULD USE HIS COMPANY AGAIN FOR ANY CONCRETE NEEDS!
Description of Work: I PURCHASED A CONDO THAT IS LOCATED ON A SLAB FOUNDATION. THE KITCHEN, DINING ROOM AND LIVING ROOM FLOORS HAD LARGE CRACKS AND WERE NOT LEVEL ENOUGH TO PUT FLOORING ON THE NORMAL METHOD. THE CONDO ASSOCIATION WAS SUPPOSED TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR FIXING THE FLOOR BUT WOULD ONLY AUTHORIZE AN AMOUNT TO PATCH THE FOUNDATION RATHER THAN FIX IT. I PAID THE DIFFERENCE TO REPAIR IT CORRECTLY RATHER THAN TEMPORARILY FIX IT (IT WAS A $250 DIFFERENCE)

THE CREW MEMBERS WERE HARD-WORKING AND PRESENTED THEMSELVES WELL. EVEN AFTER THEY DISCOVERED THAT MY 100-YEAR-OLD STEPS HAD BEEN POURED SOLID, THEY DID NOT CHANGE THEIR ESTIMATE. HE ONLY CHARGED ME EXTRA FOR A LOAD OF GRAVEL THAT HAD TO BE TRUCKED IN. HE LEFT AN ABSOLUTELY CLEAN WORK-SITE AND EVEN PATCHED CRACKS AND HOLES AT NO EXTRA CHARGE! AND AT NO POINT DID HE CALL ME "HONEY" OR "THE LITTLE WOMAN." HE'S A GREAT GUY WITH A GREAT COMPANY.

OF THE THREE COMPANIES I ASKED QUOTES FROM, THEY WERE THE CHEAPEST AND GAVE ME MORE MATERIAL AND SERVICE FOR THE LOWEST MONEY THAN THE OTHER CONTRACTORS OFFERED. IT'S RARE TO HAVE SUCH A GOOD CONTRACTOR AT OUR HOUSE.
