I purchased my current home without realizing that the upstairs that was newly finished had not been properly "conditioned". So, I have been looking for several months to find a good solution. I did not want to run duct work as it would tear up downstairs finished walls. So, this was a great solution. I had 7 different companies give me quotes on the exact same job ordering the same 1 ton Mitsubishi split unit and I received quotes from $4350-$22,000. (Yesh! Just because I am older doesn't mean I am stupid!) Local services from the time I made my mind up and accepted their bid to after the job was complete were top notch. They explained clearly what they were doing, how they were doing it, and what I should expect, they kept my cream color carpet clean and cleaned up after themselves. The three young men doing the work were knowledgeable, polite, and very thoughtful toward me. I couldn't be more pleased. I am so glad I had them do the work. They also guarantee their work and the equipment in writing. They asked for no money up front, and the technicians doing the work would not accept payment, they said, "No ma'am, our companies owner inspects every job before he accepts payment". Wow, as I said, I was very pleased.

Pete was very professional and courteous. He took the time to go over my existing furnace and AC units as I explained that I'd like to replace them both since they were upwards of 15/22 years old. He recommended a couple different options and gave ballpark pricing and explained that he'd get back to me in a few days with exact pricing. While he was looking over my existing AC unit, he noticed that it was low on refrigerant and actually went so far as to waive the normal recharge service fee on my promise to use Local Services when I was ready to replace my old units. This kind of treatment is what customer service is all about. I fully intend to call when I am ready... as such honesty and good will should be not only acknowledged, but rewarded. (...and I'd go out of my way to make sure I mailed them the fee if something happened to where I couldn't replace them in a reasonable time frame)

MADE SURE UNIT DID IN FACT NEED TO BE REPLACED BEFORE THEY STARTED. PRICES WERE COMPETITIVE. VERY HAPPY WITH THEIR WORK.
