We recently bought a house in the country and wanted to switch from the expensive propane furnace to a more energy efficient heating system. Tim at Federal explained our choices and different cost options, to find us a system we could afford and one that would last the long term. We went with a heat pump. They put it in on an 85 degree day and got it done so we could stay cool. It's a major improvement! Everyone at Federal, the installers and the people in the office are friendly and prompt in their attention.

Jesse, Kyle and Dillon were prompt and prepared. Installation went smooth, and unit works as advertised. New Bryant AC outside compressor unit was quieter than expected when running. I should get many many years of cool enjoyment out of this investment.

I really enjoyed dealing with Federal Elite Heating Cooling. Tim does a outstanding job describing the products and services they provide.We Chose a Bryant unit to heat and cool our sunroom. Kyle and Jesse did excellent work in the instillation. They are very nice and cleaned up afterwards. Very happy!

Steve and Tim were thorough in examining my house for the quote and for the actual install to ensure the smooth installation of the equipment. Jesse and crew were great during the install. I work from home so I greatly appreciate the fact that they kept the noise and disruption to a minimum. They were neat and cleaned up before they left for the day. Considering the work that needed done, I expected a bigger commotion and a lot more dust and dirt but they kept all of that to a minimum. They were polite, friendly and professional and did a great job in my dungeon of a basement. I highly recommend them to anyone that needs any hvac work done.

We have used them for 17 years. Ever since we've moved here they've been doing our furnace and air conditioner. We always have the in the spring and the fall. They do a thorough job of cleaning our air conditioner and our furnace. They make sure our filters are always ready to go. It works great. They are hour for about 1- 1 1/2 hours or 2.

Jesse & Kyle arrived on time, asked to see old unit. Didn’t waste any time. Had the new unit installed in about 4.5 hrs. Cleaned up before they left. Very happy.

Sales person ( Tim Hicks) came to the house to give me an idea of what we may need to replace our exciting unit. He asked what was wrong with the unit and I said it will not run. He then asked if he could look over it and possibly fix it. Well after he put a few parts on some labor he said it's not able to be fixed. So we went over the system and he showed me my options. He was very informative. He explained the difference in efficiency of each unit and how much money in the future we will save on energy cost. We made a decision and scheduled a date to have it installed. The 2 installers were very knowledgeable and very professional about keeping our house clean bring the old out and bringing the new in. After the install they explained the unit from top to bottom. I would definitely recommend this company to all my family and friends.

Excellent job well done!! On time for installation. Laid down protective plastic on carpet. Took out old furnace and installed new furnace and air conditioner in a timely manner. No mess cleaned up everything. Professional job with quality systems and good pricing . Totally explained system. I called after installation for more information, questions answered immediately. Arrived on time and prepared for removal of humidifier-1st water tank was too big but was able to get smaller one in 1/2 hour. Total time was 3 1/2 hrs which was our quote. No additional charge.

Received estimate and work was started and completed in under 2 weeks. Installer on time and worked efficiently with excellent clean up of premises. Estimator forgot to inform crew of included thermostat.

Called before arrival-on time-Jesse & Bill, very professional-layed plastic on carpet. Did a great job-explained everything. Checked system-cleaned up, hauled old unit away-very happy with service!

The tech was 10 minutes late after the 8a-9a appointment time (showed up at 9:10a). That's no big deal. He did do a quick job of figuring out what was wrong. You see my capacitor burnt out. Short job, easy fix. Small bill, well no. I knew there was a $79 service fee. I had no problem with that. I call, they come, it costs $79. However, when I asked what I owed, I was surprised. He tapped on his pad for a while and said it was $235. Bare in mind he was 10 minutes late and it was now 9:30a. So he was here for a total of 20 minutes, 2 minutes were on the pad. I asked how much did the part cost. He didn't really answer. I said, it must be about a $150+ part. He told me all he does is pick up the parts and sign for them. He doesn't know how much they are. I really knew then he was lying to me. He did know, he just wasn't telling me. I paid him. I shouldn't have, but he did do work. He did however ask for my e-mail address to send a receipt. I never got a receipt. . I looked online and called around. I found the part is about $20 on the high side. I found out that some HVAC places double or triple costs on parts. So I decided to go to the business and find out why I was overbilled. I asked the part price. The Service Manager said it was $48. I then asked him if that was the case why did I pay $235 when the fee was $79 and the part was $48. That's only $127. He said I was billed correctly. I asked how? He said the tech should have told me there was a $108 labor fee. I told him he did not. I said that I was upset as it was a "Hidden Fee". He told me I should have been told but this was what they charge for installation. Installation I could have in done myself with the part he brought. I could have just asked to pay the diagnostic/service fee and buy the part and do the labor. Too bad I wasn't told, or I wasn't told on purpose. Either way, this is a bad business practice. It's very deceitful and unethical. On the upside the Service Manager wrote down the breakdown on the receipt they printed on site for me and he scribbled his name. It all left a bad taste in my mouth. I told him I was making a BBB complaint about the "Hidden Fees". I did, for what that's worth.
