We got them from Angie's List. They've been reliable. They are local and we've used them a couple of times.

I called the evening of Oct 7 and left a voice message on Cruikshank's phone. They called at 8am the next morning and said a technician would come after 12noon. Around 130, Tory arrived, assessed the situation (needed to review several cleanout ports, some of which could create even more problems), talked me through what he was going to do and the estimated costs. He was done in less than an hour. Charges were right on his estimate. This visit was professional and courteous from beginning to end. Tory was extremely polite, explained his approach very clearly but not condescending. He was very clean, was very careful to clean up (just image the junk from a decades-old kitchen drain line!!). I would absolutely recommend Cruikshank for plumbing services - we'll definitely call them again!

Very easy for the plumber, after removing the stopper, we found previous kids place toys in the drains. He provided help with possible issues down the road.

Had a great experience from the first call with this company. They were friendly, talked through to determine level of "crisis" (our situation was not one - thank goodness), and worked with me for a scheduled time that I do around a work schedule. Their technician arrived on time and was friendly, polite and informative throughout the visit. He worked quickly and efficiently, discussed options for us, and provided just the info we needed to prevent future issues. Great service!

When I called to make the appointment I was told they could come the next day during the afternoon. I had plans to go out of town the next day so I told her the earlier they could come the better. They ended up coming 2 hours early... what a nice surprise! The worker was very nice and showed me that my old water heater sprung a leak. He replaced my old tank with a new tank. Prior to installing, I was informed/shown that the new tank has a dent. I was told they could replace it with a new one or take $50 off. I would have preferred a new tank but I was in a hurry to go out of town so I took the $50 off.

This ptovider has a policy to replace an item than spend time trying to repair current fixture. This fit me well so went ahead. The quote was a bit better than retail due to thier bulk price break. During installation ran into a few problems which were resolved prior to new fixture being placed. Also had question about replacing floor and reinstalling toliet afte floor is replaced. He gave me good advice. Toliet has been working fine for many months after installation.

It went really well. They did a good job and showed up on time. I will use them again in the future when needed.

They were very responsive. They made an appointment to come to our home, kept us informed as to the date and time and let us know that their person was enroute. He showed up on time, was very professional and advised us of what needed to be done. He even had to put an acess door in through a closet. He was efficient and cleaned up after he was done. Excellent service. We would use them again if we ever had other plumbing issues (hope not!).

The provider arrived on time and completed all work in the same day. Explained the problems and the proposed fix. Very knowledgeable and skilled service provider and the price was right!

Arrived on time and repaired a broken outside faucet that the only access to was through basement ceiling. He was very concerned and careful to make the smallest hole possible in the ceiling, as we do not have a drop ceiling. We also moved our refrigerator across the kitchen during a remodel and he installed a new waterline for the water dispenser and icemaker. All went well and he even helped my husband move the fridge. We did have an issue within 30 days that the shutoff valve for the waterline came off. Once again we received prompt service and they replaced the valve at no charge. We will definitely use them again for our plumbing needs.

We initially found Cruikshank Plumbing through Angie’s List. They were able to come out within a couple of days. Their cost was much less than the other estimates that we received. The technician was well spoken, polite, and clean. He was just fantastic! We are very pleased with the work.

From scheduling the service to cleanup afterwards, everything went smoothly. The plumber was on time, courteous, and answered all of my questions.

Provider was very friendly and did a good job finding the source and fixing it. Snaking the drain also solved a slow drain I've had for a while now.

It went very well! We had gotten an estimate for around $1000 for the repairs from another company. Cruikshank Plumbing told us the repairs we had been quoted were not necessary and were able to solve the issue for much much less. They were on time and professional and it was an excellent service experience.

Michael the plumber that was assigned to the job was prompt, on time and in uniform. He was very courteous. He was very knowledgeable and completed all the work in a timely manner. He cleaned up all the areas that he worked in. The work was very competitively priced based on three bids that I solicited for this work. I would definitely use Cruikshank Plumbing again and highly recommend them.

They were punctual, very nice and honest. They took a video of my problem to show to their contractor, and said they would call me with an estimate, charging me nothing for the visit.

Troy came out a week before the work was done, diagnosed my problems, fixed a bathroom sink leak that was coming through my dining room ceiling and ordered the parts to repair two toilets. Just as promised, he returned when the parts came in, replaced them efficiently, doubled checked his work and their operation. The whole experience was first class. My interactions on the phone when making the appointments were always pleasant and cordial. No BS, but a sincere effort to accommodate. Troy himself was not only very skilled, but a very friendly plumber, a good listener, and capable of explaining precisely what is going on. I would strongly recommend Cruikshank, and especially Troy, to anyone.

Turning on the water at the backyard faucet the first time after this hard winter, we discovered we had a leak - not outside but it back flowed into the basement spraying water all over the basement walls and laundry area. I called to set appointment and was given a 2 hour window for the craftsman to arrive. Troy promptly arrived at the time given with a call beforehand saying he was on his way. He worked diligently - replaced the hose bibb and also new copper piping inside home. The hose bibb was in a difficult place to reach in our basement with lots of turns and joints in the copper. Troy was very professional. We are very satisfied with this work and will call company again, if we need plumbing work.

The "flat rate" price he quoted did not include the extra hour he spent, or the trip charge, so I was surprised at the final cost. The clog was professionally done - he fixed the immediate problem. We have several other issues with plumbing that we need to get fixed. He was going to provide us a quote for all the necessary services - it's 3 weeks later, and no follow up. If he and his company aren't interested, I'll find someone who is. Very disappointing.

met with Mark in December 2013 to get an estimate on remodeling a hall bathroom. Cruikshank has done service work for us in the past so they were our first choice. I told him we would be ready to do the work in March (2014) so estimate not a big rush. I called him in late January to ask about the estimate. He said he was waiting on a call back from a painting contractor. I asked if it would be another week or so and he said no, he would get back to me in a couple of days. We never heard back so obtained other estimates and went with another company. I was very disappointed as they do great service work, we have used them several times. But apparently that does not carry over to their remodeling functions.
