Cruikshank recommended an excellent hybrid unit, fit my installation into their schedule on the last day of the year so I would qualify for the tax rebates, and accomplished all my other requests. Professionally done. I really appreciate businesses with a customer service mindset.

Randy arrived on the Saturday when we noticed the leak coming through the living room ceiling. He did some investigating to determine the location of the problem. Because it was going to take several hours to locate and repair the problem, we decided to have him come back during the week. He returned on Tuesday with a plan of action. He had figured out where the problem was and took care of it using the least destructive method possible. Although he had to cut three holes in our living room ceiling and hole in our bathroom wall, he was able to take care of the problem without removing the stone tile from the bathroom walls. He also had to reset 2 toilets and replace some of the pipes. We feel very secure in what he has done and that the problem has been taken care of.

They scheduled a date to do the replacement. The plumber who did the replacement did a good job. I would recommend them. We had to wait about 3 weeks to get the warranty reimbursement but their office person stayed in contact with me to let me know the status of the warranty.

Other providers responded with pricing and time frames that better met my needs

Cruikshank's was friendly, prompt, thorough, and cleaned up so well when he was done you wouldn't know he was there. His price was fair and he was able to come the day I needed him to. There is no doubt that I would call him again when I need a plumber.

Another plumbing company ran a camera down our sewer line and told us that it was partially collapsed and would need to be replaced (for $2300). Based on Angie's List reviews I contacted Mark Cruikshank for another estimate. He seemed far more knowledgable and competent than the other company's people. As a temporary measure he snaked our line and discovered that the other company was entirely wrong -- the line was not collapsed and not even blocked where they said it was. Farther down the line it was blocked by tree roots and could not be cleared. Mark did not even charge us for two hours of work. And he saved us from having a costly repair that would not have fixed anything.

They sent a technician out to do the repair. Two hours after he left the toilet began to run again. I called the company back, the owner sent the tech back the following day to correct the issue. They did not charge me for the extra trip. I appreciate that they owned up to the mistake.

The service was good. He was very helpful, I had a four and half year old watch him work the whole time and he didn't mind at all. I would recommend them.

He did a great job. He is my favorite and I would give him an A on everything. He is a little expensive, but great. I like that he is on time, professional and he never changes the prices. He never has to come back because it is always done right. When I call him, he answers the phone and I like him a lot. I spent about $1200 on that service.

Cruikshank Plumbing is the only company we will ever use...They have been our plumbing service since Mark Cruikshank started his business. All his men are prompt, honest and do a wonderful job. Randy ran into complications since he was working an a 35+ year old home. The job was completed on time and at the estimate they gave us. Quality products were used, and all the plumbing was brought up to code. I feel confident recommending this company, as they have always been honest, and did the work better than we could have expected.

We are very pleased with them. They are prompt and efficient. Their professionalism and knowledge is very high, I would give them a high recommendation. They are not cheap, but they're good.

i will call this company again because of Randy..my tech/plumber. He was prof, nice, helpful & did quality, efficient work. called in morning and he was here that afternoon. GOOD COMPANY

I was very pleased with the plumber that came to the house. He was knowledgeable, personable and willing to take the time to discuss and explain my options.

They are very punctual, friendly and mostly will come the same day you call. I have used them before and have always been pleased.

We had used this company for some plumbing repairs in the past and had a very good experience. At his first visit - Randy fixed our initial sink blockage issues, but did call out that at some point in the near future we should look at purchasing a new sink and faucet as our old one had a small crack that was causing some very minor leaking. He was not pushy at all about the repairs and left it up to us, which we were very appreciative of. When we did get around to purchasing the new sink and faucet, we did not hesitate to call Cruikshank plumbing back to have them install it. Their initial quote over the phone was a little high, but beat the quote we received from the Home Improvement store where we purchased the sink. When Randy arrived, he was very quick and efficient and installed everything within an hour. The actual cost came in well below the original estimate (almost half!), and we were once again very satisfied with the work.

I called several places to quote me on a price to come out and repair the spicket. When I called Cruikshank Plumbing I left a message and they returned my call pretty quick. Pretty good considering it was Memorial Day. They were very polite and pleasant and I found out through talking with them that their prices were more reasonable from other places I had called, plus they were highly recommended from other Angies list customers. Big Plus....Randy gave me a time frame that he would come out and he arrived around that time. He was very polite and explained what he would have to do in detail in order to get me running again. He said he would have to put in a new spicket and would put a lever so if this were to happen in the future I would be able to shut off the spicket and not the water to the whole house. I asked him if he would do the other spicket as I had issues with it and did not want this to happen again, but it would depend on what he would charge. He gave me a ballpark figure and I gave him the go ahead. He said he would work fast and get the job done as quickly as he could to save me money. He did a fantastic job and finished the job in less than two hours and saved me money to boot. I was really impressed with the work he performed. Would use him again.

Scheduled us for a late afternoon appointment to accomodate our work schedule, which was much appreciated. We were told that because of our late appointment, they may need to start the job that afternoon and return at a later date to complete the work if it ran longer than an hour (given their normal work schedules). Randy arrived on time and was quick and professional when diagnosing and repairing the several bathroom plumbing issues that we were having. Total service time was less than 2 hours and Randy stayed past normal quitting time so that we didn't have to call back in to schedule an additional appt. to finish the work. Overall, very satisfied with the service provided.

They were able to schedule an appointment for the following week. They determined that a small shampoo bottle was flushed and had gotten stuck causing the problem. Very professional, would use them again in the future.

Mark was great, he came out to the house twice to give a free estimate on different plumbing problems. He gave a quote for running the pipe and adding the tap. It was dead on, no additional cost. When the sewer issue was discovered he gave me a quote for that also and since they were already out there it saved money on hauling the equipment out again. It was a stressful situation for me, just buying the house and having unexpected issues come up like this, he lifted a big weight off my shoulders by being able to do the work right away. He explained how everything worked, he gave great suggestions on several other water issues I was having on my property. He even cleaned up the big roots from the trees that were cut through while digging the trench for the water line. He was finished early and came in under the quote for the sewer, which was awesome. Since he was done early and I already planned on spending more money he was able to dig a trench to help water get to the run off ditch. Even with digging the trench it was still under the initial quote for the sewer. He is a very honest person, alot of people would have shammed time to get money. I felt bad dragging him over different parts of the property to look at one water issue or another(turned out to be broken irrigation pipes) but he was happy to help me out and let me know what was going on and what I could do to fix it. All I have to really say about this company is they are awesome and I would highly recommend them to anyone. There was another guy besides Mark working at the house but I am bad with names but he was great too and answered the many questions I threw his way. Even questions asked about other projects around the house unrelated to plumbing. I can't say enough about these guys, they were just wonderful.

We have been using their services since we have lived here and we have always had a very good experience with them. They came out to give us an estimate after they found the hole in the main line. What we finally paid them was quite less than what they had originally quoted us. We are pleased with them and we trust them. They have always been very reliable and professional. They ask and answer all our questions. They are very honest as they told me that the price that they had quoted for the last repair job was more and then when the work was over it was much less than estimated. So, I really appreciated that. I would definitely hire them again in the future.

He came promptly, repaired the leaky shower and left everything clean and neat.

Replaced hot water heater. They had the new one in the day after the old one failed. Price was excellent. Work was superlative. Completely redesigned and replaced the water treatment system for the house. Our well water has been a nightmare ever since we bought the house in 1996. The water is very hard, has way too much iron and magnesium, and the well is seriously contaminated with iron bacteria, as are all the wells in the neighborhood. No one has been able to offer a solution. When they replaced the hotwater heater, we discussed the water quality. Mark Cruikshank the owner was the first person who had a solution. The new water conditioning equipment was installed and for the first time, we have good water, and our hair, teeth and clothing and plumbing aren't stained. Which led to the replacement of the tub, shower and tub surround. The original bathroom renovation in 1996 was done incorrectly. As a result of water leakage, the sheet rock behind and around the tub and shower had become water logged and was visibly disolving. Marc Cruikshank ablely assisted us in tub, fixture and surround selection, arranged for the support of a contractor to do the carpentry, tile and painting, and provided the plumbing for the work. The quality of the work is awesome. The professionalism and timeliness of everything was unbelievable. Communication was perfect. Could not have asked for more We've dealt with contractors before. This is the first time ever one has been 100% on time, and on or below estimate and a real pleasure to work with.
