+ -1 moreHaving lost money to a previous dishonest contractor, we had to give up plans for new tile flooring. We found a good color/pattern in a med-priced sheet vinyl, and got bids from three sources. Crown's was the best; also we had had previous satisfactory experience with them. Their installation crew adapted to our schedule, and did an excellent job in both bathrooms, and they weren't "simple" layouts. I was especially happy with the fact that they removed all the old baseboard segments carefully and gave me time to repaint them before re-installing, so that the overall look of the new floors is much nicer. The installers tell us laying sheet vinyl is becoming a lost art - makes us all the more pleased to have had quality work done.
Description of Work: Replaced old sheet vinyl and carpet in two bathrooms with updated vinyl.

+ -1 moreDid not complete work and non responsive to get back to complete it. I told them them I would not pay the bill, it took them 18 months to contact me back and then sent me to collection. John acknowledged the work was not completed and he said he would get to me and never did and then six months later I received notice they sent me to a collection agency. I have used them two other occasions and the work went well.
Description of Work: They were to replace carpet and install linoleum by the front door. The seams on the carpet were not done right and there was carpet where linoleum was supposed to go. They did not tack down the carpet as well and they did not get done.

+ -1 moreThe price and final result were OK. However the installer did not show up when he was supposed to and only worked a couple of hours per day when he did show up. We were told it would be a one day job that turned into four days. Three of the days the installer did not show up until noon or later and would disappear after about an hour or two of work. One day, when he was scheduled to finish the job, he did not show up at all, and didn't call or return phone calls. The store owner/manager did not seem to care about this work ethic. If you are just buying the product their prices are good, if you want service go elsewhere.
Description of Work: They installed laminate flooring in a dinette, kitchen, and entry of a newly built home. Their lack of follow-through cost a lot of time and delayed other jobs that were pre-scheduled after they said they would be done.
