EXCELLENT. The staff is very nice, responsive and professional. I love this company!

We had a couple hiccups getting the project going, but Melissa was on top of things and got the service arranged. He got the job done this morning, allowing me time to overseed before the rains come later today.

Last year I purchased a package with 6 treatments and paid in full up front. I wasn’t really satisfied with the results so I decided not to purchase any more treatments for this year. I came home from work today to find an invoice in my front door stating that they had treated my yard and wanted me to pay for the treatment. This came as a surprise to me because I hadn’t agreed to any services from them or given them permission to treat my lawn this year. I called in to hopefully get this matter taken care of and spoke with Chelsea who quickly informed me that they automatically renewed my services without my knowledge or my consent and that if I didn’t pay in full for today’s treatment, then I would be sent to collection’s. I asked to speak to her manager, which was a lady named Chrissy. I told her I was not informed nor did I agree to have any treatments done to my yard this year and I would like her to remove the balance on my account. She informed me that she could not do that and kept saying that they sent a letter out in January stating that my service would renew automatically. I don’t remember such a letter and even if there were a letter, I did not give permission to treat my yard. Chrissy goes on to tell me that she is the manager and there is nobody above her that I can speak with. She also says there is nothing she can do and she will be sending my account to collection’s. I have already filed a complaint with the BBB. This is no way to run a business. Very poor customer service.

A lot of holes and there was a lot of grass seeds dropped. Will have them do regular servicing next year. Referred next door neighbor and they were pleased. I was referred by a neighbor was referred by a relative. I checked them out on Angies List.

I don't have to worry about them. They show up on time, don't try to fool you into anything you don't need.

Lawn treatment service. They are a family owned business, very nice & they do a good job.

I have used them ten years. They are reliable, do good work, and fair.

I fired them and hated to do it because I had them for 10 years and they were a little mom and pop operation but they just weren't getting the job done. The best thing about them is they are a small family owned mom and pop-type business so they are not a great big corporation. They were easy to talk to and initially responded very promptly to any service related problems that we had. As years went on probably in the eighth or ninth year our yard had not improved. It has kind of gone downhill. It did not look as nice and wasn't as green. We had some problems with bugs and I don't feel they were doing a good job. Last year we had some really bad problems. We had a lot of dead spots and when I called them about it they came out, looked and could not determine what was causing it. I think they said they would just see and thought it was the dry weather or the heat. A couple of weeks later my lawn continued to deteriorate, like, half of my lawn was dead I called them again and they told me I had grubs. I wondered why they did not diagnose it two weeks earlier when they had been here. They treated for the grubs and now my lawn is half dead. They did not offer to re-seed or try to make it better. I had spend probably $500 or $600 to re-seed, buy a bunch of grass seed and do a lot of work getting my lawn back in shape. I spent the entire rest of the summer getting my yard back in shape. Beginning this season I wrote them a little note canceling their service and I thought after having been with them for 10 years I might have heard something from them, but I did not hear anything so I am done with them. I felt like they short changed me at the end. The price was very reasonable.

Our neighbor used them so we started too. They are the only lawn care company we have used, but they get the job done. They do our seeding, fertilization and provide other recommendations.

They seem to do a pretty decent job, other than the ones that I've used before. The ones I used before, I wasn't happy with. They do a decent job, so far. Their price is okay. They can improve on the quality of the lawn because there were some spots that they were supposed to have taken care of in the front, they're still showing.

They did a better job than the other company.

They are very good. I started with the company when they just started out at my other home. Then when I moved, the owner came and told me what to expect compared to this yard from my other yard.

I had Creative Lawn Care as my service provider for maintaining my lawn free from weeds and to provide the proper applications for a lush beautiful lawn. I paid in advance every year for more than 6 years. Recently, my lawn just went from great to poor. Creative Lawn Care was not observing the lawn properly and it deteriorated to almost the point of destruction in parts. I cancelled service and requested a refund of my prior amount paid. They mailed a check for $32.00 when I am due $57.05. When I called them, they said they deducted $25 for a service call. They charged for a service call to spray for weeds that they missed and I already had paid for and to check the lawn again due to deterioration. Their service has declined drastically over the last year and these business practices when someone cancels their services is plainly unacceptable. This is not how companies should treat their clients.

They have been doing my lawn care for quite a while now like 10 years probably. To get a discount, we pay them for a whole year. You can pay them by application if you want to, but it is cheaper for us just to pay them for the whole year. They come out in winter, summer, spring, fall, and usually another application in between. If you need them or some weed does not die, you can call them up and they come out for free and take care of it.

They apply the treatment and leave a sign. They take care of everything fully and I will continue

I have a contract with them each year. They put three applications on and I pre-pay and receive a discount. Then I don’t worry about it.

30% of my back yard is dead. despite multiple calls to creative, I have not been extended a service call which is part of the contractual arrangement. when they did over seeding, they got grass seed in my flower beds. thats ok, i love trying to get grass out from between my day lillies. zero quality control. -my yard looks horrible -creative is not addressing -have learned my lesson about pre-paying services, especially with this outfit -creative is charging customers for services they are not performing i will NOT ever use creative lawncare/ Chris Wolfskill again F F F F F

I have been with them for about 12 years. I stay with them because they are good. They offer different plans. I would recommend them. That is how my neighbor got them.

This was one of my worst customer service experiences ever. We had signed up for the 6 application program along with the fall core aeration and overseeding and had pre-paid for all services, taking advantage of the coupons and incentives they were offering. Round 5 was completed on October 30, and that was the last round we ever received. By December, I hadn't heard anything from the company regarding our final application (Round 6 Winterizer), so I called to inquire as to whether they would still be coming out to complete the Round 6 application. I spoke with an employee named Tess. She told me that they would not be doing the final application, as it was too late. She said they had completed the final application for as many customers as they could, but were unable to get to everyone. At this point I asked if they could do my 1st application the following year for free, since I didn't get the 6th one this year. She said she would need to talk to her manager. When she came back, she informed me that they wouldn't do my 1st application for free, but would do my 6th one for free if I signed up for the 6 application program again. She stated that they only do that for first time customers, but were going to extend the offer to me again since I didn't get it this year. However, knowing some of their other customers, I knew this was not true. They had been allowed to take advantage of the promotions even after their first year. I was slightly baffled. They wanted me to pay for 5 additional services to get what I should have already received. I stated that I didn't feel like that was right. Why would I have any reason to believe I would get the 6th one next year if I didn't get it this year? She stated that it had snowed earlier than usual and that they had run out of time and that it was very rare for them to not complete applications. I said that I understood that, but if this was so rare, the least they could do would be to provide the next application to me without charge since I had already signed up and paid for 6 and only received 5. She stated that since I had used their promotional coupon that I hadn't actually paid for it, so I was not losing anything. She also stated that if they had come and done the application when there was snow on the ground, I would have called and complained about that. I was appalled. I felt like that statement was extremely rude and unprofessional. I stated that just because they were offering a promotion, I shouldn't be penalized for it. Since they viewed it as free, they didn't need to provide the service? When we requested estimates from different companies, we compared the overall cost (along with other factors) to make our selection. Therefore, in our opinion, yes, we did pay for it. We signed up and paid for a 6 application package and only received 5. I could not understand why it was such a huge deal for them to offer my next application to me as a replacement. That was when she told me that the 1st application is the most expensive and the 6th application is one of the least expensive and that it wouldn't make business sense for them to offer the 1st one to me for free. I explained to her that it wouldn't make sense for me to sign up for another year of service from a company who didn't complete all of the applications for me this year. She asked if I was even going to sign up for service with them again the next year, and I stated that I wasn't sure. Prior to this conversation we had all intentions of using them again, but at this point I didn't feel like they were honoring their part of the agreement. That's when she asked me why they would provide a free service to me if I wasn't even going to use them again next year. Hmmm.... maybe because I was supposed to have already received it! Keep in mind that at this point, I was still their customer. We had spent hundreds of dollars on their services and would have continued to use them, and this was the customer service they provide? I was so frustrated. I then asked to speak to a manager. She told me that she had already discussed it with the manager, and it wasn't going to change anything. I insisted that I would still like to speak with the manager myself. At this point, I was placed on hold for nearly 10 minutes. Once the manager finally picked up, I was simply told the same things again: the snow came early, they ran out of time, they would do my 6th one free next year, etc. I again tried to explain my concern about not receiving all of the service that I had a contract for this year, but she was obviously not willing to compromise. I informed them that I would be sharing my experience on Angie's List. In my opinion, they had the opportunity to make the situation right and did not do it. They lost a customer, and possibly others, as a result.

This is the most unprofessional company I have ever worked with!

This is an odd review, but I felt it was worth noting. My mower recently broke this past week and wouldn't be repaired until next Wednesday. In the meantime, our grass was getting out of control and was really getting too high for our mower to handle even when we got it back. We called around, but most mowing companies were scheduling at least a week out. Since I live extremely close to Creative Lawncare, I thought I might stop in and see if they could help. While, Creative Lawncare does not providing mowing services, Chris offered to come over the next day and mow our lawn. I asked him how much it would be, and he said it was no problem since he was going to be mowing the office lawn tomorrow, and didn't charge me. Next day, he had our entire lawn cut before 8:30am. =) While this is not a service the company performs, I think its worth mentioning the character of Chris and this company. It was an extremely kind, generous, and neighborly thing to do. It's rare that people behave this way anymore. I really appreciate his help and would not hesitate to trust him with other lawn related things in the future.

It went great. I have him do the work every year. I do not have to worry I pay him and he comes out and does the work.

It is great. I have had them for many years. I don't have to remind them to come out. I use them every year with out fail. A couple weeks ago my husband said we had a lot of dandelions in our yard, I called Creative Lawn Care, they were out the next day to take care of the problem.

Apparently I can use a computer. I called to get more information as the email did not answer my questions. This guys has time to troll people on Angie's List but not return phone calls. Tells me that am VERY glad I did not hire him to perform any work for me. Still waiting on a return phone call after 3 weeks. This guy went door to door in my neighborhood doing lawn assessments. He could have had my business if he had returned a phone call. I would suggest going to a more reliable company.
