Description of Work: New roof with old removed, new soffit and fascia, old removed, new downspouts, gutters and leaf guards |From the moment we first contacted Matt, (Sales Rep), we knew this company was for us. Matt was very friendly and itemized all of what we could expect. We first contacted Second To None last Fall when he assured us that if we waited until Spring the price would hold. When we finally set the date to have a new roof, with the old roof torn off, WOW, did things progress quickly! They arrived around 8:30 in the morning with the crew and left when they were finished, completely, around 2:30 that afternoon. They were thorough and extremely cautious of my flower gardens, which by the way extend all around the house! They were meticulous on the cleanup, removing everything that wasn't there when they arrived! The underpinning crew came Saturday, Sunday and finished up today. They also were extremely meticulous in their work ethics! Tearing off the old and installing new! The gutter, downspout and leaf guard crew will finish up, I am assuming whthin the next few days and I have no doubt they will be the same, thorough, clean and considerate of our property! I can truly state that contacting Second To None was a complete success! And, yes, I would use them again and will highly recommend them to anyone!! They did an amazing job!!

Description of Work: They replaced a cracked skylight for us. They answered the phone when I called ( I did not have to leave a message and wait to be called back or not be called back). A salesman was at our house within 2 hours and the job was completed within 2 days. I was completely satisfied with the job and this company. I would highly recommend them to anyone. I did not realize they also do other types of work such as windows. I will be calling them for future work.

Description of Work: They quoted me a great price, but when they got started they ran into some issues and had to fix/replace much more than expected. While I'm very happy with the work they did and they did a good job, paying double what I had originally expected was a bit of shock.

Description of Work: I called Second To Noe again to have my roof done on my garage. since they did the roof on my house . I made an appointment for a free inspection on my garage the Secratary was extremely professional and set up an appointment according to my very busy schudule . Two inspectors came out and gave me specific details and work that need to be done to my garage. They did a great job! The roofers that came to do my garage were very polite and best of all accommodating to my needs. They did a FANTASTIC JOB! Quality work that they did was outstanding. The clean up again was immulate. I have recommend my of my friends and co workers to have any work needed on their roof or gutters, windows, siding and isolation to call Second To None Roofing.

Mr. Kamis called and set an appointment to come out and give an estimate. Mark Kamis was prompt and professional. Most of the other roofing companies I had called had not even returned our phone calls or did not show up for the estimate appointment on time. Mr. Kamis explained in detail what the problem was with our roof. He explained that we had poor ventilation in our attic and as we had suspected the roof was very old and needed to be replaced. The roofing crew called the night before to confirm the start of the new roof. They came out on time and worked very hard to complete the job in one day. We were impressed with how great the roof looked and how neat they were with completing the job. The next day the next crew came out to complete the soffits and the gutters. The entire time the crews were here they were very neat and tidy. The entire experience was great! I would recommend this company to anyone that is looking to replace their roof!!!
Description of Work: Removed all the old roofing from our house. Installed a 30-year shingle, ice guard, venting, and new flashings. Also installed vented vinyl soffits and new aluminum gutters.

I SHOULD HAVE USED THEM, BUT I WENT WITH SOMEONE ELSE. GUY WHO CAME OUT WAS OKAY. HE DID NOT SPEND A LOT OF TIME LOOKING AT THE ROOF. HE SPENT A LOT OF TIME JUST TRYING TO SELL ME.

Second to None Roofing quoted us a new roof for our house. Our roof was only 17 years old, but based on the information we received , we decided to have a complete tear off of the one layer, check all the wood and install a very good shingle that would last a long time. The Elk Prestique shingle was the one selected which is a 30 year shingle, and was rated as one of the better shingles. The roofers arrived on the day of the job, and had the old roof off by late morning. The new roof was installed by later that day, and the roof looked very good. My wife inspected the job site after the crews left, and the whole yard was very clean. There was no trash left and the areas were trash free. I came home that evening, and looked at the roof and the yard, and all was as planned. The roof looked very good, and the yard was as clean as I left it in the morning. The roof has performed very well since installation, and we have had no issue with it since it was installed late last Fall.

At that time they did some additional work repairing my roof for additional money. The problem was resolved until January 2007. The roof started leaking in the exact same location. They came out February of 2007 and they said it was ice build up & just one of those things they could do nothing about. They inspected the roof in my attic and said I needed a new roof and said they'd come back to give me an estimate but never came back or responded to my phone calls. I have a 1 year warranty on the repairs and I think they're just putting me off until the warranty expires.

We were called out in January 2006 for rain leaks. I believe that problem has been corrected. If the member has a rain leak in the area we repaired in 2006, we will be happy to come out and perform a water test. We will correct a rain leak in the area we repaired in June 2006. We met with the member's son in February 2007 and showed him leaks in areas we did not repair as well in those we did repair. The leaking in January 2007 was from ice backup. The ice back up was unrelated to the work we performed in 2006. If she would like an estimate for ice back up leakage we would be happy to give her an estimate. Mark E Kamis, Owner

I was thrilled to have a quick response and an honest approach to a tricky situation. They came back at my buyer's request to get more information for the buyer, and they gave us a quote that was well under the others I had. I think the buyer of my house will use them, but they got me out of a fix, and I will keep their name for my future use!
Description of Work: I had a tough situation where only a part of the roof needed repair. The estimator explained what would be involved, and that a whole half roof would cost the same as a patch. I was doing this to comply with a home inspection, and in the end the buyer of my home will be responsible for the roof.
