Just had this company out for an estimate to 1. repair some shingles torn awa by racoons, 2. repair a cap shingle torn away by racoons, and 3. chalk along where the roof line meets the house. Two men showed up, one smoking (and continued through out the roof tour" and talk. They put up an aluminum ladder against my metal gutter and it took paint off of the gutter when called this to theirattention, they laughed and said thegutter was in this shape before. One commented negatively about the gutters I have. After their "tour" of the roof, they asked me to gt on the roof with them. Instead of commenting on what asked them, they pointed out that nails were coming throug the shingles in spots, that he roofing was vented improperly (even telling me to turn off the electric vent so that I would not waste electricity). Not once did they address what I asked them to do, instead saying that they would not do anything that they couldn't guarantee. Just an unbelievable waste of time. All they want to do is to sell you a new roof, even reventing, soffeting. The 74 year old man and his smoking "aide" are uindeed a discredit to this organization. I should have expected this, since they have multiple company names and addresses (see their web site). Stay as far away as yo can from this scamming bunch!!!!!

We called this company again recently to put in a new attic fan for us. We had already had 2 other companies not return calls and say they could not help us. So we were glad when we got the estimate so quickly and the attic fan was installed within a week. 2nd to None Roofing originally put our roof and gutters on in 2008 so I knew them and felt comfortable with them coming back. They also do great clean up outside.

Little bit of our siding came off because of wind and storm. So they came back and fixed it. I have used them twice. They were very prompt, did what they were saying, prices was fair and were very helpful in diagnosing the problem.

The estimator was on time and very informative, explaining the various types of gutters available and making recommendatons. He was very easy to talk with. The two gentlemen who did the job were fast, clean and worked as quietly as they could. They came on a Saturday and could not finish as it got dark so early. They returned on Super Bowl Sunday to finish up the job while the weather was in their favor. I had a concern regarding the finishing on the downspouts and cleanup. This was resolved as quickly as the weather permitted. The gentleman who did the job called me to verify I was satisfied with how the final downspout configuration was worked out. Also, he did a little extra cleanup which was a nice touch. In this process, office staff could not have been more professional. I am very satisified and will call them again.

It went great. They did quality work. They showed up and finished when they said they would. It has been over a year since the work was done and I am not having any problems. I installed two light tubes in the roof myself while the shingles were off. They cooperated with me and all it cost was the price of the light tubes.

The crew showed up at 8 am as we were told they would. They worked straight through until 11:30. They tore the whole roof off and nailed down all loose boards. They got some felt and ice guard applied, cleaned up most of the debris. They all left for lunch at 11:30 am. The crew came back an hour later, and worked straight through until they finished between 4:30 and 5 pm. They did their final cleanup, tarped their debis trailer, Packed up their tools, and left. Frank and his crew were organized and professional. Annette, the office secretary and Dave the estimator, both were responsive and returned all my calls. All in all a good experience.

I couldn' t have asked for better. The salesperson was so professional and he totally put me at ease. He was honest, thorough and didn't make me feel ignorant since I had never bought a roof before. The installation crew was so organized and competent and efficient that several of my neighbors commented and asked for Second-to-None's contact info. I recommended them wholeheartedly. Two years later, I can still say that it was a great experience. The roof and gutter still look perfect.

I was given an overall assessment of my roofing problems and an estimate. When I called to schedule the repair, the company called me back and scheduled at my convenience. The work crew showed up on time, fixed all roofing issues and followed up with a questionaire. I had some questions about the repairs. After I called their office, the salesman and a roofer came out and re-evaluated the roof repairs to ensure that all repairs were made according to specifications. In fact, some extra repairs had been done at no extra charge. I feel confident in the repairs and with the work done.

Mostly satisfied with excemption of employees attitude. I wasn't aware that I am resposible for supply a port of potty. I was shocked by the roofers to open up my back privacy fence to urinate on my new fence. I told them to close the door and if they needed to go to the bathroom to come to the front door and I would let them in to use the bathroom. They agreed and a few guys did that, however, I found the back gate open again, so I had to go and close it. They did what they wanted to do, Several days later I notice a swarm of flies on the fence and I had to wash down the inside of the fence and add lime to the soil. I am very inhappy with this part of my job. Also, there is almost 2 inches of seperation from my prch roof to the supporting beams, it looks fixable, but I am not sure how to go about and repair it. Remember that I am disable with kidney failure and I am limited in what I can do and I do not feel like hiring someone to fix it.

overall not bad, did have a problem with quoted wood sheet replacement, overall job seemed rushed after that.

They did it right before winter which I needed badly. They did a great job. I have neighbors that recently got roofing jobs jealous of the work and price of Second to None Roofing.

The salesman Mr Beckwith was professional and not pushy. He waited over 6 months for me to get the money saved and never called or bothered me. From the time they dropped off the materials to the time they finished took 4 weeks. They worked with me to install skylight tubes which I purchased myself at home depot. They did the exterior work and I did the interior work. It wasn't that difficult, and doing it that way saved me money. The workers were professional and trustworthy. They had access to my garage for using electricity but nothing came up missing. I am glad I went with Second To None. The house looks great.

It went ok, they did what they said they were going to do. There was a discrepency with what the contracted price was versus what they wanted me to pay. There was some additional wood that needed replaced and they wanted the price to be higher. We settled on the contracted price.

They were prompt and it took a little more than a day with some of the other things they were doing. They did a good job. The clean up was good. They went over the yard with the magnetic tool to find any additional nails.

Very well. The salesman was very knowledgeable, answered all my questions, gave me the impression that he believed in doing a good job not just making a quick buck. I'm a woman who has never bought a roof before and he didn't make me feel like any of my questions were stupid. I work for a commercial property management company and had the head of maintenance review the quote and he said it was a good one at a fair price. The original crew had to reschedule because there was so much damage to the wood sheathing but a new crew came back the next day. My neighbors even commented on what an efficient job the roofers did, got right to work, no screwing around and did a fine job. The neighbors wanted their business cards. Hope they get more work out of it!

I would never have a roof done in the winter if you don't need it done right away. which we did not need. they had to shovel about one foot of snow off our roof and our deck was loaded with snow. they could'nt clean up the nails and stuff until the snow melted. but they came out out later and did a good job of cleaning up. our roof looks great though

My overall experience was great. The presentation was superb. The workers were great. The price was reasonable. I needed to have it done ASAP and they accommodated me.

They have done an excellent job. They took good care of things and explained the problems to me. They are very professional and punctual, and the quality of their work is good. My overall experience with them has been positive.

The roofers were on time, efficient, and there were no problems at all. I would highly recommend this company to others.

Second To None Roofing came out to my home and gave me a second opinion on my roof. They told me that I did need a new roof and they recommended we replace it. They came out on a friday and did half of the roof. They came out the next day and finished the roof. They did a good clean up but they did miss a few minor things. They had a leaf blower and they forgot to clean off my drive way but I didnt feel like it was a big problem.

I had a new roof put on and I have a patio roof behind my house. They compromised the patio roof and it ended up caving in. The crew was unprofessional. I am 82 years old and remember when a man still took pride in his work. That is not how it is today. They damaged my patio roof because, they did not have the skills or expertise to realize the damage that was being done to the patio roof. I never saw the boss on the job.

Company gave me a free estimate. Called me when they were bringing supplies to leave on back patio. Arrived on day promised and completed job in one day. Invited me up on roof to show me exactly what they were doing and why. Addressed any concerns I had immediately. Did thorough clean-up.

The company gave us a free estimate. Was told our roof could be done in one day! (We signed the contract)! We received a phone call from someone in the office to tell us our roofing material was coming and that the roofers would be there the next day. The job was done in one day! The clean-up was great! The roof looks wonderful!

They were very knowledgeable, they clean out the gutters before putting the screen on. Even the guys that came out for the estimate was on time. And they were very through. I feel that the price was reasonable and they were very trustful.

The guys who came out to give us an estimate, they gave a decent estimate, and they showed up to do the work they didn't call us before they came, and when they did show up they didn't have there permits, and I told them not to go on my neighbors drive way with the equipment but they did it anyway.
