Permanent Floors Carpet One

It went well. The installer did a good job and I am happy with the carpeting. He arrived when he said he would and worked consistently except for a lunch break. I chose an upgraded carpet. That is why it was so expensive. I don't know what the same carpet would have cost somewhere else.

Excellent! There are very positive things to say about them. Clean work was good and professionalism was also very good. We talked to them at one point we were not able to be there and they would just come in and do it and close up and they left. Design help also was available in picking up different carpets and colors. We were very pleased with all the people that worked in our home.

we had a very good experience, from initially meeting Ryan at Permanent Floors to make flooring selections, to the carpet removal, tile installation & carpet installation. The workers were all professional, courteous, punctual.

The man we had doing the refinish job was very nice and professional. We paid to have him sand the floors, stain and top coat it. The company uses Bona floor products. We're happy over all but the more we see the floor, we notice some corrections that need to be made. We haven't called the company yet to see if they can fix them. One of the issues we see is trapped dirt that got stuck while the finish was drying. Everyone we've dealt with so far has been courteous and professional. 3/17/14 I got a follow up call from the man who worked on our floors to see how things were working out and he is going to come out and take care of the little glitches we found on the floor, now that's service! We were just going to live with it.

It went great. I first went to the store to talk, where I was loaded up with samples to take home. We set up an appointment to measure for an estimate, and I had that very promptly. I solicited a couple of estimates; one was way higher and another was in the same ballpark as their's. However, they seemed very flexible and accomodating, so I went with them. Workers arrived punctually and got right to work. The tile was a long hallway and NOT a straight shot. It includes a larger, square-shaped area by the front door, into a closet, extended into a small bathroom off the front hall and a foot or so into the stairwell to the basement. Also, the mentioned extension of time went into the corner of my family room and was finished off nicely with metal trim. It was sharp and improved the whole feel of the house. A different set of workers came in to install the bedroom carpet. They were very fast and efficient, but the job there was quite a bit easier than the hallway tile. I was extremely happy with the final product and am happy I did it all, and did the extension per their suggestion. Excellent!

This was one of the rare times when I didn't look at a project and find something that I want addressed or changed. In fact, they took more care then I would have, had I attempted this project myself. Everyone we dealt with was professional and kind. The final price was exactly what was quoted. They showed up when they said they would and worked quickly and thoroughly. They made sure to understand exactly what we wanted before and throughout the process and they cleaned up everything before they left. I highly recommend.

They did a good job. They were very helpful. They worked with us on some things because we had a couple of ideas of what we needed and then we settled on one. They had a large supply, which was the key reason for me to select them. I did have to find a separate contractor to fix some damage that I previously had on the subfloors, it was bulging in one section. I really spent $460 more than I needed to because they would not do it. I had four other companies quote me and their price was a little more than the other companies that came in. The installers did a great job and the floors look good. They knew what they were doing and they improved a couple of things that we had asked them to. It was too bad and unfortunate that the installers didn’t know specifically what the problem was underneath the floors. That was a shame because it led to another $460 and it just turned out to be glue, so all they had to do was scrape it away, which they could have done as part of the $1200. I chose them because o their supply.

I saw the Permanent Floor truck while traveling to my double rental property that was for sale. The advertisement worked. I called and Craig was there within the hour. Craig explained the product and how it worked. Each unit had 3 ggod size bedrooms , hallway & large living room. I had to choose between refurbishing the present badly stained and damaged wood floors or carpeting. After speaking to Craig and looking at pictures I decided to choose to have the floors refurbished. I chose the ebony color. When they say dustless, they mean dustless. I had just had my 2 units repainted and no dust to be found. They finished both units in a week. The floors look georgous. I loved the color choice. Everything Craig said they would be. They were very neat, polite and courteous. With the updated floors, my property sold the next week. The buyers loved what had been done. Thank You Permanent Floors. I will have you put in new hardwood floors in my home.

What a great group of people, easy to work with, very professional and punctual. They did everything in 2 days and how beautiful the rooms look now. Everyone that comes to my home raves about the carpet and wants to know where I got it. Would highly recommend. PRICES ARE COMPETETIVE, QUALITY IS THERE.

Excellent. The installer was timely, neat, quite the perfectionist. There are areas where the cabinets could not be moved and he has the flooring looking like the cabinet was set over it not the flooring around the cabinet. Every edge and seam are perfect. Showed up on time each day, worked all day, cleaned up after himself daily. It turned out gorgeous, the flooring I picked out resembles the hardwood floors in the rest of the house and he had plank pattern centered on original as they pattern one was slightly wider board width. Carpet is gorgeous. Padding on the stair treads so very soft under foot. Took him three days to complete entire job, even took his time making sure he had everything back from where he moved it and measured to center the island (solid and heavy, but movable). I had a previous quote from another company which was about $50 less and they had me moving all the appliances and such and removing the current stair carpet and trim. They wanted to walk in and install. If I had wanted to do all of that I would have done myself. Was paying someone to do the work for me, not just install product. The kitchen is small, but not easy to do. I couldn't ask for a better job. So very happy I found these folks.

In the beginning, it was great. The salesperson that I worked with was wonderful. She explained the different levels of carpet that they had and showed me samples in every cost level. There was absolutely no pressure which is very important to me. The price on the carpet is for the carpet and installation, that's it. Once I chose the carpet and the work order was put in, it went downhill. John called a few days later to schedule the measurement. He spoke with my husband regarding the install and pulling up the existing carpet and moving furniture. We were quoted an estimate of a few hundred dollars and maybe more to move the piano because it would take 2 people. He mentioned to my husband if we did all of the prep work, we would save that money. I guess there was miscommunication at that point because we thought the extra money would be taken off the cost of the carpet/install price. We moved all of the furniture, pulled up the carpet and cleaned for 2 days. We were called with an install date by John. The next day Ryan called and asked if we could switch days which we did. Miscommunication #1. When I received the final price from John, it was the price that was written on the carpet. When I explained we did all of the prep work, he took $0.50 off of the price only saving us $30 total. We were a little taken aback. Miscommunication #2. I guess the couple hundred dollars for the prep would have been added to the final price? The day of the install, we emptied the last couch and cable etc., out so the rooms were completely empty. I called around 10am and no one knew where the installers were and could not contact them. After a few hours of waiting, John called and said we were not on the schedule for that day or the original day and he did not know when we could get our carpet. He was unaware Ryan had changed the day and Ryan never put us on the schedule. We had been without furniture in those 2 rooms for a few days already. I asked if we could be done that day and was told after 6? I said that is fine, I needed my house back in order. They called back and said they would be there at 1. So, how did that happen? Did someone else have to change their install? So the install took 90 min. and the actual cost of the install was $400 when we broke down the cost. I think that is a little much when the guys only had to roll out the carpet and put it on existing tac strips. So I am happy with the carpet, it looks good but I have learned to get the breakdown of everything before agreeing to the order. I would like to use them again for the rest of the house but I haven't made up my mind yet.

When they came for an estimate I mentioned my concerns. My dog runs on floor in the morning and it wakes my daughter. They nailed the loose floor boards within the same week. Then a week later, on a Saturday so I did not have to take off work they installed the carpet with an extra thick pad. There is no squeaks in the boards and I can no longer hear my dogs feet on the floor. Not only does the carpet look great it was a great price. I had my daughters room carpeted a year ago by another company I wasn't happy with how it turned out. This job looks world better- tighter, even, and I like the option for ends to be rolled or have a metal strip put I. The installer was very flexible with my schedule and was polite to my daughter and dog. I plan on using them again in a few weeks to get my floors refinished.

We tore out our dining room carpet, but it left an unfinished edge on the remaining carpet in the living room. They called back when they said they would and got an appointment the next day. Installer showed up on time and did a very nice job. I plan to use them again in the future.

We are in the process of selling a condominium. The feedback from each showing was positive except for the comments about the outdated carpeting. I contacted John at Permanent Floors and explained our situation. He understood our dilemma and agreed to meet me at the condo, measure the unit and bring different samples of carpet that would improve the appearance but not set me back a zillion dollars. I selected a frieze style carpet with an 8 lb. padding. The carpet I selected was not a stock color and had to be ordered. This worked out quite well because we were going to move the remaining furniture and tear out the old carpet and this would allow us to complete the task without any pressure. The carpet arrived on schedule and was promptly installed. The three gentlemen that performed the installation worked quickly and left no carpet debris. The only thing I had to do was give it a quick vacuum and move the furniture back in place. Wow! What a difference! It doesn't look like the same unit. It's almost a shame to sell it now. I would recommend Permanent Floors because: A. They offer a wide variety of carpets to fit your needs. B. They have a great sales staff that works with your situation and budget. C. Their installers are punctual, neat and professional and work quickly as not to tie up your entire day. D. The end result is a phenomenal upgrade at a reasonable price.

We worked with Shelley, and she was most helpful in the selection process, explaining the pros and cons of the different products and working with us on color selections. The installer were very professional and did excellent work.

The sales lady who helped me was excellent. (Shelly). She not only helped me with my carpeting she helped me with a paint color as well. The installer showed up on time and was ok. He did however chip my newly painted baseboards up quite a bit but no permanent damage. I needed to touch up the baseboards afterwards but I guess some of that is to expected

The installers were punctual and completed the job in a few hours. So far, I am happy with the installation.

They are excellent. I had them do carpet many years ago too. They are great to work with. I ordered one carpet which turned out to be unavailable and I was looking around elsewhere because I really liked the carpeting. I found a sample some place else and they gave me a price which was actually better than the place I found the sample at. It was the same carpet.

They came out to measure, got a quote the next day, and we scheduled installation within a week. Due to unforseen circumstances, they had to reschedule the job to a Saturday. The installer was on time, and completed the flooring installation in a couple of hours. They did misquote the amount of materials needed, so they had to reorder more and came out 2 more times to complete the flooring and the baseboards. They were very easy to work with and the floor looks beautiful. i will be using them again.

They gave us a ballpark estimate and had a nice collection but we did not actually buy from them because we looked at different options and ended up finding a carpet that was affordable and that we could get installed sooner. They quoted us around $1,300 or $1,600. We liked almost everything about them. They had a lot for various price ranges and the way that they were priced with their carpets was nice; it was like an all in one price per square foot, including basic installation and padding. They were very upfront with their pricing but they were not the most affordable. They were very professional.
