I've used Mr. Appliance in the past. Zach, the technician, showed up on time, diagnosed the problem, and repaired the dryer quickly and professionally. Very good experience. Would recommend this company to anyone needing an appliance repair.
Description of Work: Dryer was making a scraping sound.

After several long diagnostic sessions with [overseas] LG “customer service” over the phone, it was determined that my 2017 LG dishwasher needed a new control panel. The representative at LG gave me a listing of three (3) LG certified repair technicians including Mr. Appliance in Parma, Ohio. By a process of deduction Mr. Appliance called me back and essentially sold me a bag of goods over the phone; committing me to a $109 dispatch fee. Initially, the representative told me that the $109 dispatch fee would be deducted from the cost of the repair AND, more importantly, that their technicians carry many of the factory authorized parts; so that my dishwasher could be repaired on the date of his arrival. Mind you, that I explained everything I found out from LG and advised Mr. Appliance that the LG people told me that it was the control panel (which was covered under warranty). Two days later after receiving confirmation that the technician would be at my residence between 12:15 and 2:15; when he wasn’t around at 2:40, I called Mr. Appliance. I was told that the technician was “wrapping up a job in Avon Lake and would be calling when he was headed our way”. Next, upon arrival, the technician was clueless; and unapologetic for being forty-five (45) minutes late. Additionally, he wanted to argue with me about whether the “electronics” as [outlined in the owner’s manual and by LG] were under warranty. This somehow prompted him to request the dispatch fee PLUS tax totaling $115; as if he was in a hurry to get to “his last two jobs”. After I reminded him that he was forty-five (45) minutes late to our appointment AND that we were miffed that he wasn’t in possession of the part to complete the job, the technician proceeded to generate an estimate for nearly $600 for the repair. Now, infuriated as anyone would be, I get on the phone with LG to settle the dispute about the warrantied part. The Mr. Appliance technician called his supervisor to get confirmation that he was right; but, after further review and a speaker phone conversation with LG, it was determined (as initially stated 2 days prior) that the part was covered. Finally, after all this, the technician comes up with a total of $212.50 which we must pay in order for them to complete the job?? Then, when asked how he came up with that, he has no answers. So, all in all there is no explanation for what that rate covers. Since I was told that the initial $109 fee would be applied to the repair, and the part is covered by warranty, this must mean that Mr. Appliance labor rates are more than some attorneys at $212.50 per hour?? To date, the part was ordered and the installation is set to be done Wednesday. We’ll just see what kind of professional shows up to install the part! This outfit is completely unprofessional with zero customer service in mind.
