+ -1 moreJohn and his crew do a great job. This will be the third summer that John and his crew have managed my lawn care for my front and side yards. They come out once a week for $25 per cut during the season. John and his crew typically alternate weeks of when they will do edging and trimming throughout the lawn as well. I also like the fact that John is conscientious about the temperature and dryness of the lawn throughout the hot summer months. When the temperature is high and there has been a lack of rain John will skip a week because he knows that the lawn has not grown and that cutting it may actually do damage. This is the second season in which he will be managing my fertilizer and weed control for my front and back lawn. As long as I do not have any dandelions in my lawn I am a happy person. And over last season when he managed the fertilizer and weed control there were no dandelions. John's pricing for fertilizer and weed control was substantially more customer friendly than other larger corporations that I have used in the past. John does six applications of weed and fertilizer throughout the season at a price of $40 per application for me.
Description of Work: This will be the third summer that I have had John cut/trim/edge my front and side lawns. This will be the second summer he has managed my lawn fertilizer and weed control.

Description of Work: My mother in law had a positive experience with this company and we wanted to give a local company business to help them grow; seemed like a nice group of young men. My small lawn was a mess in the front. We asked for full lawn care and cuts and a new lawn in the front. The lawn was planted and then John did not seem to know we asked for full service at first. We watered this lawn meticulously and although it was a hot dry summer we spent a fortune in water bills. The lawn grew in poorly with many bad spots. The lawn was filled with weeds in both the back and front. John did not seem particularly concerned with caring for the lawn. We asked him to fill in patches and treat the front and back several times. He did this but only after calls and complaints. The result is a lawn that is just as bad as the one we started with. In the end I could have bought a lawn mower and a bag of seeds and done just as well. John also takes forever to cash checks and has inconsistent billing. I received two different bills for the same work. I send a check in september with a card thanking him and ending our business. They cut the lawn a few more times and charged us in spite of me ending the business. He never even spelled my name right on our bills even though our checks had the name on them. I felt we ended up with a poor lawn and a poor experience overall..

+ 0 moreThe proprietor is very nice. One time a car was stuck in the street and he actually plowed a street for me so I could get my car out. I would not have made it down the street, otherwise. I will use them again in the future.

+ -1 moreThey have a variety of services that they offer, from basic lawn care to spring clean up. They are competitively priced. They do very good quality work. They are responsive. He was punctual and was courteous about when he came to do the work. He would come either early in the morning or in the late afternoon to be sure to not disturb anyone and would come just before trash day so that we wouldn't have to deal with the trimmings and garbage ourselves.
