Description of Work: Tore off existing shingles, re-sheeted existing plywood,installed underlayment and ice guard, re-shingled with all the fixings, added vents for the bathrooms, sealed chimney bricks, patched crack in chimney cover, cleaned up everything, and did it all in one day!

Description of Work: They replaced roof shingles. They were very quick and efficient. We have an estimate from them for the whole roof, but ended up going with a slightly lower estimate with a contractor that is closer to our home (Lakewood). The only reason I gave a B for Professionalism was that the lady that answered the phone was a bit rude, but everyone else was nice. The also didn't harass us mercilessly after they gave us an estimate.

Description of Work: Barbera installed a new roof after tearing down our existing roof of 18 years. |They were very professional, hard working ( didn't take excessive breaks), |skillful and cleaned up perfectly. The shingles we got were highly rated, look very nice and the price was $1500 less than an estimate from another company. The inspector from the city signed off on everything so we were very pleased.

Description of Work: They arrived about 7:30 AM, removed the existing (original) roof, that was about 27 years old, and installed a complete new roof and ridge vent. They were able to complete this job and clean up by 3:30 PM. The roof looks better than the original and I have had no problems with it so far. I was very impressed with all of the workers who were friendly and obviously knew what they were doing.

Description of Work: I highly recommend this company. They were nice, prompt, and extremely helpful and went above and beyond in my situation. We just purchased a house last summer and discovered condensation in the attic. I called them to investigate the cause of our problem because they installed the siding on the house in 2008 for the previous owners and did a great job. The roof on the house was replaced by another company in 2011, right before we purchased the house, and there was no apparent condensation problem until the winter after the roof was replaced. Barbera's Home Improvement got up there and discovered that it was a mess - baffles were removed and stuffed with insulation, mold and frost was under the baffles, no ventilation was occurring. Even though this company had nothing to do with the cause of the problem, they gladly came back the next day to spray the mold and properly install the baffles again to create better air flow. They didn't charge us a dime! They were more concerned about the fact that this problem happened because of something the previous owners did or the roofing company did (both are just pointing fingers of course!) and Barbera's Home Improvement just wanted to make it right for us and help us out. I will definitely hire them in the future. I don't even know what their price range is for services, but I don't care. Whatever the cost it is worth every penny and more. You will get an honest opinion, fast service and motivation to fix whatever problem you have, and expert advice. They care about the homeowner and are ready to stand behind their top of the line work. Bravo Barbera's Home Improvement!!!

Description of Work: They did a complete tear off of our existing roof and installed new shingles. Ted, the sales rep was very thorough and knowledgeable. He provided us with our estimate. We had several estimates from different companies. One other reputable roofer came down $1000, immediately, when we said that we already had an estimate from BHI. That was a turn off! BHI was the lowest priced, but we were very picky with the companies that we chose for estimates. The work was done in one day-we have an 1800 sq. ft ranch, with a large roof area. They arrived on time and cleaned up well. It was a large crew. My only complaint was that one of the workman started "barking" at my already stressed out dog when I took him out to do his business. It wasn't a big issue, just a little immature...Overall, we are very happy with the look of our new roof and would recommend BHI to friends and family!

Description of Work: Company rep called me back Fri, 11/16/12 after I called them. Made appointment for Mon, 11/19/12 @ or about 1:30pm. I agreed and asked for a call 15/20 minutes before or when he was on the way. That's the last I ever heard.

Description of Work: I had a complete reroof job done. After a recent storm on my Mothers home, we obtained an estimate. It was was more favorable to have a complete reroof done since the rof was badly aging. They did an excellent job. Tear off was done in a timely fashion, Excellent cleanup without any shrub damage. New roof and roof vents installed in two days and again excellent cleanup. A real professional job. They even cleaned the gutters out. I highly recommend them.
