Description of Work: Previously used them to replace roof. We gave them short notice because ine of the owners was going to lose a house sale (the original company with which we were working had to be letgo for incompetence). Barbera did a quality job for a good price. Protected property and cleaned up nicely. This time i had them install new downspout, repair dome gutter and coul some wood trim with white aluminum to cut down on need to paint. I asked them to tack down a loose downspout strap on a neighbor's gutter and they did that without charging me

Description of Work: We have contracted them, deposit made. Job will be done in two or three weeks. Very satisfied with price and consult with John. Job contracted roofing, power wash garage roof, zinc treatment, and gutter guards. the job has not been started so can't answer all the questions.

Description of Work: Needed a new roof on our house.I contacted 7 roofers and only 4 got back to me. Barbera was the first one to respond and give me an estimate. They weren't the highest or lowest but their price was very competitive. When I agreed to have them do my work they scheduled the job in less than a week. They worked a 12 hour day to make sure the job was finished. I am pleased with my new roof and would recommend them to anyone needing a roof.

Description of Work: Having used Barbera in the past at another house, when I noticed a water stain on the cathedral ceiling I called them. John Barbera came out the next day and checked the roof. From the location of the stain he suspected that it was due to condensation, not a roof leak, but that the roof had mold that was damaging the shingles and several loose ones and a pipe flashing that was brittle. He also noted that the roof was in good shape overall for its fifteen years, and that with some maintenance would be good for another fifteen. |He quoted a price of $965 and said being a small job he would come by on a Saturday in the next three weeks to do it. |Having called a couple of days earlier, he arrived promptly at 8:00 am as arranged and cleaned the whole roof before fastening all of the loose shingles and a complete gulley. He noted that incorrect nails had been used during installation and that had led to some of the problems. While washing detritus from the roof off of the siding he also took the time to clean some mold off that was there. |There is a rusty looking power vent on the roof and he said that if I had some spray paint, which we did have, he would paint it for us. |The staples used to fasten the facias had rusted and looked untidy, so John kindly dabbed some white caulking over them to hide them. |Once again we are thoroughly pleased with the professionalism of John Barbera and his company. The price was fair for the amount of work and his willingness to do that little bit extra for us is greatly appreciated.

Description of Work: I hired them to remove heavy moss from a part of my roof. They were able to do the job much sooner than expected and the roof really does look new! John went way beyond just cleaning - he bought shingles and replaced some raccoon damage, repaired some caulking, and generally inspected and cleaned up the roof, then power washed the gutter, siding, and driveway. He did all the extra roof repairs for very low cost beyond the original estimate. It was a pleasure to deal with such a professional.

Description of Work: I actually did not use Barbera for any work. Just wanted to mention, though. I called Barbera, because I thought perhaps my roof needed repair. A representative came out that SAME WEEK, checked the roof, assured me I did not need a new roof. The reason I had contacted Barbera originally was because I was getting water in my bathroom and my basement. Barbera closed a flap on the bath exhaust fan (without charge -- which took care of the bathroom drips). They also referred Mr. Kader (evaluation already submitted) and Robert Corrin who tuck pointed my 2 chimneys and cleaned up some grout in my indoor fireplace. Both did excellent work.
