Toby is a professional. Did a good job of estimating. Replaced the motor. Running well.

Fine -he took the top off the machine and the leak was right on top. He went to get the part and was back shortly after, popped it in and that was it. Took him less than 20 minutes in the home. Maybe was 30 minutes to go get the part and come back.

Very well. Toby showed up on time, fixed the problem quickly and answered any questions we had.

Toby arrived on time and quickly determined the problem with my Maytag washer, which was 6 years old. The cost of the repair was significant and the best course of action was to buy a new washer. He recommended a Speed Queen washer as a replacement. We have since purchased a Speed Queen washer. It doesn't have all the fancy digital bells and whistles as some of the other machines, but I already notice a significant difference in the load cycle time. It's much shorter... meaning I can get 6 loads done in a morning rather than an all day affair. We appreciate Toby's no-nonsense advice.

My 17 year old electric clothes dryer stopped working and I called Toby's Appliance for advice. I wasn't sure a dryer of that age would be worth repairing. A very nice lady in their office arranged an appointment and explained the service call charge, offering me senior discount. Toby arrived exactly on time, introduced himself and went right to work. I live in a condo and my laundry room is small. I knew it would be difficult to him to work in that small a space. Although he had to move the washer out of the way and remove a shelf from the wall, he never complained and carried on a nice conversation while taking the dryer apart. He seemed to know what the problem was right away. He cleaned the entire dryer and vents and replaced a worn out part with a replacement part of a better design. He had to drill out a stubborn screw but had the proper tools and replacement screw on his truck. Upon completion, he replaced the shelf on the wall, moved the appliances back to their original location and tested everything to be sure it was working properly. He explained his warranty thoroughly and gave me the worn parts. Toby was very polite, professional, knowledgeable, and worked quickly. I'm amazed he was able to repair such an old appliance, saving me hundreds of dollars! I highly recommend his excellent services for any appliance repair.

After having fixed our refrigerator in the past, we called Toby again this time. We were happy with him the first time, even though he was not very familiar with our make/model and had to guess what was wrong. He replaced a mother board and it worked. That same board went bad not too long after and he replaced it again under warranty. All in all he was nice and seemed reasonable price wise. This time around though after trying several things he was unable to get it working and told me that he was unable to help us and had lost a lot of money trying to fix it. He did not charge us for the parts that didnt fix the problem or the service calls and instructed us to contact GE appliance repair to get help. That day upon arriving home from work I noticed the door on the refrigerator was damaged, a dent in the front of the stainless steel door. I didnt bring it up because I was assuming the worst and would need to replace the refrigerator. After about a week of waiting GE sent someone out to fix the problem and it works fine. Now the bad part. I struggled with what to do about the door because Toby seemed like a nice guy but after looking at it for about another week I decided to at least talk to him about it. I called and explained the situation to a Woman that answers his phone and she told me he would call me. I never heard from him so I left a voice mail a few days ago, again no response. This morning another voice mail and after a couple hours no reponse so I tried again, no answer. Five minutes later Toby called me and explains that he is just really busy. After explaining the situation to him he said well I don't know that I caused the damage and I responded with, well I would like you to at least come by and look at it. It seems to line perfectly with the area that would be pushed on with a hip and maybe a tool got it? The unit was dead and not usable so it hadn't been touched other than by him, we were using another refrigerator in the garage. He then said there is no reason to look at it there was nothing he would do for it. He then offered me a name and phone number to call and explained that it was his attorney and I could pursue it that way. I said just like that? No conversation? You are not even going to look at it? Nope. End of conversation. I am very disappointed to hear this from someone with good reviews. We were polite and paid immediately, we even told people we know that he was good the first time out. I regret even having to write this and if he had come out and been willing to discuss it I probably would have let it go but the whole call my attorney thing was ridiculous. Hes great until a problem comes up then he bails on you. I would not recommend.

Toby came out on time and fixed the clogged pump on the spot.

On time and did a great job..I do not think the date is accurate.. Do not remember when the actual work was done.

It went very well! He arrived before his scheduled time, which greatly impressed me, I explained my situation and left him to his work. About 20 minutes later, he explained to me what was wrong and repaired my freezer. I will definitely use him, again and highly recommend him!

Went well except I wish he had replaced activation switch at time but he thought it would be fine, but the day after his visit we had to start banging lid of machine to get it going. Now we'll have to pay for another service call to get it replaced.

Excellent job! On time, quickly diagnosed the problem and had the repair made. took the time to explain things to me and also made sure the dryer was clean and ready to safely use.

He was great and personable. I'd call him in a minute. He said it wasn't worth buying a new compressor b/c my frig was old. He new I am on a frugal budget so he recommended places where I can get a good frig at a low price, like Habitat for Humanity.

We had another company come to repair our double oven and they replaced the heating element in the one oven that did not work. The oven worked but when we needed to use both ovens at the same time it took for ever to get both ovens up to temperature. We called back the company to see what was wrong and they came and check it out and their explanation was it just takes time when you use both ovens. Well we had owned this oven for many years and we knew better and that this guy didn't know what he was talking about. We called Toby's Appliance in and he identified the problem within a few minutes after arriving. It needed a new control board and the oven now works like new. Definitely will use Toby's Appliance in the future.

Toby responded to my Call for service quickly and was able to come out the next day. He diagnosed the problem and spent a couple of hours completely tearing down the machine. Once he was sure of the problem, he ordered the parts and returned a few days later. He installed the new parts but wasn't able to fix the washer. Additional parts were needed and he recommended I contact someone else with more experience with the brand of washer. He spent a total of nearly five hours and wasn't going to charge me at all for his time. I paid him $50 for his service fee anyway. I have decided to listen to the noise and replace the washer when it quits working completely. I was sorry he wasted his time but also sorry that I wasted mine. Two days off of work for me and $50 less in my pocket and nothing was fixed. He wouldn't even attempt to fix the same brand dishwasher that I also had a problem with and still do. Very nice guy who likely needs to seek training on newer machines.

Was very prompt, neat and cheerful. Found the problem right away...ordered the part and installed it the next day. Plan on using him in the future for appliance repairs.

Toby fixed our dishwasher, replaced a filter for our fridge and found us a part for our microwave. He was 10 minutes early and was very friendly. He did a very good job and was very quick about it. I would definitely call him again!

It went very well. He came in, knew exactly what was wrong, and he was out of here less than an hour later.

Took 10mins to diagonize the problem of non-cooling of my fridge, had the spare part(fan), replaced it in the next 15minutes. Effecient, courteous!

Everything went well. Toby was on time and had the repair done very quickly. He had to fix/replace coils and vent line. He cleaned everything up and it is good a new.

We had Toby look at an ice maker in my freezer. Prior to just replacing the pump, he suggested another potential fix that would not involve purchasing a part. We tried that and it did not work, but it was worth a try. We had him order the part and he returned and installed it. It's been working like a champ ever since. Toby is friendly and professional and did a great job.

We selected this company based on their and quot;Aand quot; reviews and also the proximity to our house. We called them to ask if they could fix our clothes washer as the agitator would not spin. They came out within two days and were able to repair the washer. While they were there, we asked if they could look at our dryer as it was taking twice as long to dry our clothes. He found there was a build up of lint in the back of the dryer wall which he took apart and removed the lint. His work was professional and the cost was reasonable. We would definitely use them again. Kudos to them.

We called Toby's from your ratings and they are close by. He arrived on time and gave my wife the estimate and she told him to go ahead and fix it. He had the part and the work was done very quickly and professionally. Will use them again when needed..

Toby was able to schedule a visit the same day even though I called mid-morning. He assessed the situation and ordered the part. Returned the next day to finish the job. Was very prompt and professional. Price mentioned includes the cost of the part. This job was low labor which also kept cost down.

Toby arrived on time and was able to replace the oven's ignitor in about 30 minutes. He stayed to make sure the oven was working properly. He is very competent and personable. We will definitely call him for future appliance repairs.
