They come out twice a year. We have two air conditioning units. The furnace was more because I think we have three. I think they are a little expensive, but they are worth it. They are very professional and responsive.

A tech came out quickly and on time. He stated the air conditioner was operating at twice or so of the standard amperage and found that the fuse box was melted and that the entire air conditioner needed replacing for over $3000. I decided to get some estimates and another service stated that all that was needed was a new outdoor electric box for $200. It has worked all season. The owner was polite when I called him and without hesitation returned the money. He stated it was a mistake. However it was a couple of mistakes in diagnosing. The tech was young. The owner did not say he was going to do anything differently to prevent this from happening again like train his people or come out to double check before advising people to waste $3,000. I suggest your getting a second opinion before deciding a big part of the heating or air conditioning system needs replacing. I might use them in the future and agree that this was more likely a lack of knowledge than deliberate deception.

I have used Ozinga for many years and have been very happy with their services - at my current address as well as condo we previously lived in across town. There is no negative reason for not going with them for our most recent purchase. Just worked out that we favored a competitor a bit more.

I was referred to this company from a co-worker. Her husband is an employee of this company and she highly recommended them. After checking Angie's List and seeing all the great reviews, my husband attempted to call and see if they would come out and give us an estimate to install an new A/C and furnace. My husband is in the HVAC business and we are able to get the equipment at cost through his work, so we were just looking for an install price. Jim Ozinga was rude very my husband mentioned that we had the equipment. He said they had their own work and he was not interested and then hung up on my husband. I understand if you don't want to do this type of a job because you can't mark up your equipment prices, but we have had quite a few people come out and give us an estimate and were just looking for one more. We have also had someone tell us that they won't just install -- but not in the manner that Jim Ozinga did. You do not have to hang up on people. This is not the way to treat people.

Tom arived on time as scheduled and worked on the hottest day of the year to get my 12 year a/c unit going. He quickly identified the problem, had the parts with him & reviewed the repair cost with me before starting the repair. No one could have completed this repair as well.

We are remodeling our kitchen, and needed the gas line cut to the existing area, and relocated to where the new range will be. We called for a quote, and received a call back the same day. We received a verbal price range, and set appointment for the work to be done.. The day of the appointment they came on time, had the old line disconnected, had the new line connected and tested within a hour. Since they had to turn the gas off at the main, they tested the furnace and re-lit the hot water tank. The final bill came in under the quote. We would definitely use them again.

Great service! On time. Highly skilled. Professional. I would never use any other company. I have used Ozinga for many years. They have installed 2 furnaces for us. They maintain all three of our furnaces.

After 20+ years of one company for our annual oil-burning furnace maintenance I was forced to find a replacement. After some research on Angie's List and elsewhere, I chose Ozinga Systems and was not disappointed. Twenty-four hours before the appointment, the office called to remind me, which I appreciated. When Don, the technician, was going to be late, the office called and told me he would be 45 minutes late and explained why--great communication. He arrived ahead of schedule and proved to be efficient, skilled, and friendly. It's been two weeks and everything is still functioning well--I didn't expect it not to, but my anxiety about replacing a trusted technician required a reason to go away. As of today I believe I have found a trustworty and reliable firm to handle my heating needs and hope to use Ozinga for years to com.

contacted jim ozinga for estimate on replacement of old oil furnace with a gas furnace and a/c unit. jim kept appointment as promised. i was impressed with his ablility to describe how the job would be done. he provided me with a written proposal, product brochures and a couple of optiions in furnaces and a/c units and their prices. also was given the furnace manufacturers website address to review the features of the different units. we decided on the more expensive "Evolution" two stage furnace and a/c unit with ten year parts and labor warrenty. appointment was made for installation of the equipment. appointment was honored and installation was completed in two and a half days. i was impressed by the profesionalism and neatness of the completed work performed by jim and rob.as a side note, jim mistakenly told me I would get a $400 dollar rebate on the installation. however, after finding out that the rebate was actually only $300, jim sent me a personal check for the difference of $100. i was impressed by his willingness to stand by his word without pressure from me.i would highly reccomend anyone contemplating a new furnace or a/c unit to consider ozinga systems.

We just bought the house and found out one of the furnace pilot keep going out. We call Ozinga from family recommendation. He came out to check the furnace on the same day. He found out the heat exchanger was cracked and need to shut the gas right away. He explained very professionally and gave us several options. The next day, he e-mailed us several option and price quote. They came in and replaced the furnace. They did a very nice job on the installation. Throughout the time, everything was kept neat and tidy. He even looked at our other furnace to make sure it was good. Overall, I will definitely use them on regular basis. They already sent us a reminder on A/C check reminder. Great experience!

They have done yearly maintenance for us. They came once when we thought we had a problem.

The repairman was on time and very professional. It took about twenty minutes for him to figure out that the gas valve would randomly malfunction and needed to be replaced. He had the valve in his truck and replaced it. Total time for repair was about an hour. I have been relighting this boiler day and nite I don't know how many times and replacing the thermocouple dozens of times. I am as happy with Ozinga Systems repair as you could be , a year of frustration is over and I will never call anyone else for furnace repair.

We've used Ozinga Systems for our heating & cooling needs for about 20 years. Our furnace was 54 years old, A/C 22 years old. Ozinga Systems has serviced this equipment for the last 17 years, until it was no longer cost effective to repair - the blower motor in the furnace failed. In the last 17 years, we never felt pressured by Ozinga Systems to replace this equipment, so when they recommended replacing it now, we trusted their opinion. We did get 3 estimates on a new system. Ozinga's price was competitive, and they offered a 10 year parts and labor warranty. Tom and the other technicians were prompt, courteous, and professional. The job took 2 days, and the work site was kept clean at all times. When we requested an estimate on a new furnace & A/C, Tom Ozinga came the next day. Once we decided to purchase from them, the work was scheduled just 6 days later. Tom filed all of the paperwork for the warranty and also for a rebate on the A/C.

Very well. I have used this company since I bought my house in 1994. Once they came out to repair the furnace on Thanksgiving night. They are always very responsive, professional and do good work. Very highly recommended!

I received a recommendation for Ozinga from a couple of close friends. They were very accommodating to my schedule and I had a quote in hand less then a week after first calling them. It was very reasonable for the work being done and coupled with the personal recommendations I signed the proposal. We scheduled about 1.5 days of work...of which they used less than a day to do the installations. The work is very clean and well done. The work site(s) were cleaned up and everything looks very professional. I have had no issues whatsever with the work or the products installed.

Called Ozinga Systems at 3:45 pm. They were at my house by 4:30 pm. Problem was a dying blower motor. He had the old one out and new one in in less than an hour. Very nice folks to deal with! I have used them in the past, and they have always been fantastic!

ARRIVED ON-TIME AND ADVISED THAT THE A/C UNIT WAS LOW ON REFRIGERANT AND THAT IT WOULD COST $125 TO FILL. DID NOT MENTION WHY IT WAS LOW AND DID NOT CHECK OR OFFER TO CHECK FOR A LEAK WHEN I ASKED. I ADVISED THAT THE SYSTEM WAS OLD AND THAT I WOULD CONSIDER REPLACING INSTEAD OF REPAIRING. HE GAVE A QUOTE TO REPLACE BUT GAVE LITTLE EXPLANATION. THE PRICE WAS HIGHER THAN OTHER QUOTES I RECEIVED SO I DID NOT HIRE TO DO THE WORK.

THEY WERE ON TIME. THIS WAS AN ALL DAY JOB. THEY BROUGHT A PERMIT, WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL, LAID DROP CLOTHS AND CLEANED UP WHEN THEY WERE DONE. THEY HAD FORGOTTEN TO CHARGE ME FOR THE CHIMNEY LINER WHICH WAS AROUND $300. I WAS PREPARED TO PAY FOR IT, BUT THEY LET IT GO. I HAD A SMALL PROBLEM THAT CAME UP THIS WINTER AND THEY CAME OUT TWICE. THE PROBLEM IS RESOLVED AND THEY WERE HAPPY TO MAKE IT RIGHT.

WE HAVE USED THEM EVERY YEAR FOR ABOUT 3 YEARS. THEY ARE DEFINITELY REASONABLE. THEY SEND THE SAME PERSON OUT EACH TIME, SO HE IS VERY FAMILIAR WITH OUR FURNANCE AND US (AS MUCH AS YOU CAN BE FOR AN ANNUAL VISIT). I AM ALWAYS IMPRESSED WITH THE CARE HE TAKES TO CLEAN-UP, AND KEEP DIRT OUTSIDE, ETC. HE HAS ALWAYS BEEN VERY PERSONABLE AND ACCOMMODATING. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
