Lake County Door

My springs on my garage door snapped on a Sunday afternoon. I called and left a message and had a return call in about an hour. The appointment was scheduled for 9 - 11 am on Monday morning. Once there the technician replaced both springs in less than an hour. Door is actually much quieter when opened and closed. I'm happy with the work.

Called 9:30 pm the noght before. Owner called 8:00 am next morning and scheduled a time for that morning. Technician called and said he was on his way and arrived at 9:00 am exactly when he said he would. I have used them in the past and would continue to use them going forward.

Called LCD approximately 0945 am with the problem of a broken spring on garage door. Matt was able to come out by 1045 am problem fixed by 1145. Excellent response time – fair price Matt - excellent technician.

Called ahead, arrived on time, very professional and Know ledge able, Service Warranty.

He replaced a broken spring on my garage door. The door has two springs. My husband has replaced the springs in the past many times over the last 20 years. With the heavy snow, he decided to have someone else replace it so he didn't have to run after parts on such a bad day. The repairman arrived the morning that he was called and was done in 15 minutes which is much faster than my husband has done in the past. My husband said that It was money well spent.

They arrived at the agreed upon time. The completed the work in a reasonable time frame. They explained everything very well. They didn't leave a mess. The did a great job overall.

Matt was very courteous and recognized how to correct the problem immediately.

Awesome!!!! Matthew called & arrived when he said he would. He worked continuously & efficiently. He re-worked some wiring on the door opener we already had and fixed some wood trim in addition for N/C.

Called Lake County Door to confirn that the spring was broken from my description, It was broken, they said that some one would be there withing 2 hrs. 10 minutes later I had a call from Mike the technician, he was there 5 minutes later. He replaced both springs in about 45 minutes. He explained what he was going to do, how long it would take and how much it would cost. I would call them again with any problems in the future.

At that point I left him alone to work. He removed the old garage door opener and installed a new Genie Garage Door Opener. Since the old opener was an I-Drive TorqueMaster it was quite different from the belt drive unit he installed and required quite a bit of modification to mount the new one. From my first garage door opener (decades ago) I had modified a beam in the garage to allow installation. In so doing I cracked one of the horizontal support beams in the garage and held it to together with 2 C clamps. Mathew suggested how I should repair this. To my surprise he glued and bolted a 2"x4" piece of wood across the broken area restoring a solid cross beam. Overall comments: The initial phone call to the company found them to be very courteous and professional. I was kept posted as to the arrival time. The installer was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and installed the new opener in a short period of time. He took time after installation to show me all the safety and operating features of the new door. He also cleaned up the work area and removed all old debris.

I badly needed my old and heavy garage door replaced. They came within a couple days of my initial call, were able to complete the new door install within the next week, and the process was smooth as can be. They got rid of my big heavy door, put the new door up, did it all in a timely professional manner every step of the way, and I thought the price was right. $1,130 for a two car wide insulated garage door was A-ok in my book.

Matt was prompt, professional and got right to work - finished job in 2 hours. Thorough, cleaned area - gave me a quick bit of training, then on his way. No brainer. Glad I found the resource.

I sent a message thru Angie's List stating that I needed service. The provider (Terry) messaged me back the next day. I called him and within 30 minutes he had a repairman named Matthew at my door. He took a look at the door and quickly found the problem. He had it fixed and was out the door in about 40 minutes. He was very pleasant and professional. He even complemented that we have the "best garage door opener ever made!" Matthew also suggested that we should be calling them every 2 years for their $95 garage door check up. He said the broken spring could have been caught and repaired sooner. I will definitely be using their services in the future!

I called to have my garage door fixed. It was broken and needed changed. They offered to simply fix vs. replace. Were not pushy at all. Very reasonable explanation.
