Description of Work: In June of 2015 Guhde Flooring in Painesville, OH removed my existing carpeting and installed luxury vinyl wood plank flooring in my basement. They were suppose to arrive June 16 at 7:30 am. They never got here. No calls and no one at store answered to let us know what was the problem. My husband and I kept calling until the store opened at 10 am. My husband even took a day off from his medical physics business to be here for the installation. Mike Guhde did not return the call until the afternoon. I found out later from the installer they were sent out to do a repair on the west side somewhere. Then later they said they had a flat tire. Disgusting customer service. Finally got the floor installed the next day. The installers left and didn't even let me know they were finished. I had to make a special trip to the store to pay and even get a copy of my contract. The other thing is Mike Guhde said he would make a wood piece to fit in our closet that had a huge gap because of going from carpeting to a luxury vinyl wood plank flooring. This was never done. They will never get my business ever again!! F for customer service and the D is for the inconvenience that was caused!!

Description of Work: I ordered tile a couple of times there.the family that runs the business are very nice and helpful. The problem is their prices are high, my wife and I checked out their carpet and compare to 4 other places and for carpet and install their price was higher than the rest.as for the tile l had to order both times because they don't stock much.the problem with that is they charge you delivery charge to the store, then the truck only comes every two or three weeks. Which l thought was ridiculous. That is the reason for the low grade . Please shop and compare at different places when searching for tile and carpeting, it can drive you crazy but you can save a bunch of money.

Description of Work: Installation person moved my appliances (washer/dryer, stove, refrigerator) very carefully. He then went on to remove the old floor covering, which had been glued down, but he did it in a very timely manner. He then measured the new flooring and had it down and completed in all 3 rooms in less than 7 hours. They had originally thought it would be a 2 day job, so this was a plus. Also, being the professional that he was, the installation guy rolled up the old flooring, tied it up, and then proceeded to take it and the rest of my trash to the curb for pick up the next day. I couldn't have asked for a more complete job. This is my second experience with this company. There are other places that may offer lower prices, but I will continue to use Guhde because they are the best in terms of professionalism and overall satisfaction.
