Description of Work: Hook up a new kiln. All that needed to be done was wire to the box. I came out with payment, he said everything was done and working and left. Loaded the kiln, turned it on and no power. I called him immediately and he could not return. He told me to go to the hardware store and replace the 60 amp fuses myself. He never. He never checked the fuses. I you tubed how to do everything and did it myself. We also contacted him for wiring in our house. He put us off for months. We have a new electrician I really like.

Description of Work: He repaired the main electrical line into our home at the connection between our private line and First Energy's line. My husband was able to do some of the 'grunt' work of digging which saved us money in the end. (Originally, it was difficult to nail down a time frame and confirm that the repairman was coming due to a delay on a previously scheduled job. This was understandable although frustrating after taking off work - but completely worth the time as the knowledge and experience of the repairman was worth the wait.)

 + -1 moreCalled and left a message on Sunday night, they called back early Monday morning, and had to problem fixed by 10:00 am. Tom did troubleshooting to determine where the problem was, found it, and fixed it. I'm really happy with their work!
Description of Work: Had an electrical outlet that "died". My tester indicated an open neutral. All the connections looked good to me.

Description of Work: Sumer Electric installed electrical cable from our garage to the outside of our breakfast room in order to hook up a spa which we installed, installed the emergency cut-out for the spa, and hooked up the spa.

 + -1 moreWE DID NOT VERBALLY AGREE ON COMING OVER FOR THE ESTIMATE. I THOUGHT HE WAS RATHER ABRASIVE ON THE PHONE AND REMEMBERING MENTIONING TO MY FIANCE THAT I WAS NOT GOING TO USE THIS COMPANY. HE DID TELL ME THAT HE WAS GOING OUT OF TOWN AND WOULD CONTACT ME WHEN HE RETURNED. HE SHOWED UP ONE EVENING AND HE HAD ALREADY COMPLETED THE DIAGNOSIS AND SPRAYED AREAS OF THE LAWN. HE THEN SAID THAT I OWED HIM $75 FOR THE DIAGNOSIS AND HE DISCONNECTED THE WIRE FROM THE CENTER BOX. I WOULD NOT LET HIM COMPLETE ANYMORE WORK LIKE HE ASSUMED. HE WAS VERY PUSHY AND MADE SOME BIG ASSUMPTIONS. HE DID REFUND THE AFTER MY FIANCE SPOKE TO HIM.
