Description of Work: Elaine re-upholstered a wing chair and ottoman for me. She has done previous work for me as well that inlcudes dining room chairs and two slipper chairs for my daughter, and host and hostess chairs for my dining room. She is affordable, honest, and does very nice work.

+ -1 moreI found them through Angie’s List. She does a good job. I am very happy to sort of adjust them, and I feel like the rollers need adjusting after they have been up in use a couple of times, and she is happy to do that. I have had a lot of things done by her, and she is doing more things at the moment. I am quite happy with what she is doing. I would recommend her to others. If she has got some other jobs on I am quite happy to wait because I don’t use them during the summer anyways. The price is not so expensive, but not too cheap. Sometimes it’s a little difficult to get a hold of her. He is very good with ideas and suggesting different things, and if it’s not to my liking then she is happy to change it.
Description of Work: I used Elaines Custom Upholstery to get some blinds made. She changed three curtains in to blinds, and she made a blind for over my kitchen, and she made one because we not sure it will go well, so she is now making the other two blinds.

+ -1 moreThe chair looked perfect at the shop, but when I got it home I noticed that there were problems with the back of the chair -- studs were not evenly spaced, studs were coming out, and a seam was separating. The chair sits in front of a sewing machine with its back more visible than its front. I would like Elaine to look at the chair and see what can be done to fix the problems, but she has not called me back on this issue. I have called her at least 6 times since April 21, 2011. This gives me the impression that she does not stand behind her work.

+ -1 moreShe put new foam in some cushions for me and did some repair work on my couch. The couch was sagging on one end and she put some webbing on the bottom to give it more support.
Description of Work: I have used Elaine before and she did such a fantastic job I returned for a second project. She put new foam in some cushions for me and did some repair work on my couch. She is a great lady to work with she is professional has a great working personality. I would recommend her highly and plan on going back when I have my dining room chairs recovered.

+ -1 moreThe work output was good. The overall experience of working with her was good. Her workshop is very dingy, cluttered and not very appealing; I don?t think customers should be put off by that.
Description of Work: I used Elaine’s Custom Upholstery early this year. She re-upholstered a sofa and also specially ordered the material for it.
