Description of Work: My water heater wasn't working. I checked everything and then called Orrville Plumbing. The service guy came out and saw that the vacuum tube on top was disconnected. Took a total of 5 minutes. Since I had to pay for a service call anyway he went ahead and did some maintenance on my blower motor by oiling it up.

+ -1 moreThe parts only cost $15 and the rest was labor and the cost of coming out. I thought that was very reasonable considering he came from Orrville. After he was done he cleaned up his mess and since I asked for the bill that day he went to his truck to figure out the bill. Normally the send the invoice by mail. After giving me the bill and I had finished paying him I mentioned another issue that the house had with an older leaking pipe. He offered to look at it and he took a couple photos of the pipe. He quoted $200-300 for that job. I told our landlord about the quote since his last quote for the same job he was told over $1,000.
Description of Work: The plumber arrived on time and was very friendly. He went right to work on our toilet. The tank wasn't filling properly and he decided that it needed a new fill valve.

+ -1 moreI have used Orrville Plumbing for A/C (we've nursed a central air conditioner for about 10 years now with annual recharge and service; for gas forced air furnace service on 2 rentals, for gas water heaters, for gas/water furnace heat, in our residence; for conversion from oil heat to gas. For repair of shower faucets, old tub faucets, and shower fixture replacement. Always fixed neatly and rarely have they ever had to come back..
Description of Work: I have used Orrville Plumbing since 2000--about 13 years for both my home in Wooster and my rental properties. They have been prompt, dependable, and provide good service. My only gripe (hence the B grade) is that sometimes they are expensive--I've learned that I pay hourly rates from the time they leave the garage in Orrville. That adds a lot when the service is in Wooster. Much better if I lived in Orrville!! Still, they stand behind their work and I trust the workmanship, so am willing to pay the extra, since I have heard some pretty bad things about a couple of other plumbing/'heating service companies in Wooster. I never worry that the job will be done right. And I never worry that unnecessary work will be done to jack up the cost.

+ -1 moreOrrville plumbing and heating gave me an estimate on my broken air conditioner. I felt like it was too high so I called Rick's heating and cooling out. They diagnosed the same thing but their estimate was 1/2 as much as Orrville plumbing and heating . Rick's fixed it and it ran great. I don't think Orrville Plumbing and heating is dishonest but in my case, they were too expensive.
Description of Work: There are better companies to use than this one.

+ 0 moreWe have always been happy with their services. My overall experience has been nearly excellent. The price is on par with anybody else around here. The quality of work is excellent. There was a little bit of a wait time and miscommunication but that was no big deal. The professionalism is excellent. They are probably the only ones I will use.
