Compton Overhead Doors

Double Garage door spring broke suddenly and needed replaced. I called them and they were able to come out the next day and replace it fairly quickly and had a really good price.

Crew was great cleaned up as they went along.

Scott and Kim came to my home to assure a great installation of a new garage door opener after my old one stopped working. They were professional and worked quickly. A great experience altogether.

It was great. They performed the service promptly and efficiently. They were close to half as much as what our first quote was. When I came home, everything was cleaned up. The garage door was working. There was no mess. Everything was good.

I left a mesage and he returned my phone call. He looked at neighbors garage doors since i live in a condo and all doors need to look the same, He called with price and made arrangements to install asap. It was done quickly and looks great. It is so much better then the original garage door.

Comptons was easily contacted, and the man was out to give an estimate right away. We scheduled the work to be done within a week. Compton's worker arrived right on time ( even earlier than expected), and he quickly took down the old door and railings. He then put in a brand new single-car garage door, rails, and trim. The door looks wonderful, and it works very smoothly. The entire job took about two hours, and the repairman was so polite, professional, and genuinely nice. I would recommend this company to anyone needing a new door. Their estimate was significantly cheaper than the others we contacted.

They did an outstanding job! Of the two companies we called, they called us back right away. They were also several hundred dollars cheaper than the other company. They were prompt, professional and we would definitely use them again!

I came home on Friday night and my garage door wouldn't open with the GDO. We checked and one of the springs had broken. I called Compton because I had used them previously. They said they could come out over the weekend, but I decided to wait until Monday since it wasn't an emergency. They gave me a time range for Monday. On Monday they called to advise they were running a bit late due to unexpected delay on the call before me. I appreciated their call to let me know. When they arrived, they got right to work changing out the springs. They also checked out everything else on the door to make sure it was in good working condition. They were done very quickly and the door was working again!!

Great service. Honest with what your options are and willing to follow your direction of how far you want to go with the job. Not pushy at all and answered all my questions. Surprised there aren't many more reviews for as long as they have been in service and for the great service I got. We had them back out to replace the bottom rubber cushion the following week. Would call them again without hesitation!

It is always a pleasure. He is fast to respond, very kind, works effeciently, and explains well when there have been problems. We keep his number handy and recommend him highly.

Had spring and latch replaced on garage door.

We called on Saturday when the one spring broke. They scheduled us right away and came out on Monday to replace it. They arrived right on time, very courteous and got the job done in approx 45 minutes. Also took the time to answer questions I had. We have used this company before and they did a great job then also. Would definitely recommend.

They repaired the garage door and some electrical and did some repairs on it.

I came home from work on Monday and I could not open the garage door. After looking inside I saw that one of the springs was broke above the garage door. I went on Angie's List for a garage door repair company and called a couple places looking for estimates on price and time. Compton was able to come out the next day, could have been same day, but I work third shift and was going to sleep. They arrived at 3:00 as promised and were done around 4:00. He replaced both springs and realigned the tracks and hangers for the garage door. The garage door now opens much quieter than ever. He told me that we should WD 40 the springs and rollers once a month, which is something I had never heard of before. Great customer service and even better installation service. Would have no issues about recommending this company to anyone, great price, quick service and even better installation.

Garage door opener quit- it would not longer open & close door. Purchased a new opener for them to install. Scott came out & listened to the door. He said the motor was fine & probably just needed a new gear as the old one was chewed up. Scott's honesty saved me about $200 in the cost of the opener- $171 plus additional labor cost for installation. Compton was the company that installed the door 2 years ago. Scott was also the person that did the work. He did a nice job then & this time as well. Will continue to use them when my garage door needs service.

I WAS NOT ABLE TO BE HOME WHEN THEY CAME FOR THE REPAIR, SO THEY JUST BILLED ME AFTER THEY DID THE WORK. I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN AND RECOMMEND THEM.

THE ESTIMATE ON THE NEW DOORS SEEMED REASONABLY PRICED. I HAVE USED THIS COMPANY BEFORE AND THEY ARE VERY ACCOMMODATING TO FIT MY SCHEDULE. I WAS ABLE TO GET AN APPOINTMENT QUICKLY, THEY ARRIVED PROMPTLY AND WERE VERY POLITE. I NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH PREVIOUS WORK PERFORMED.

THE GUYS TOOK OUT THE OLD DOOR, REROUTED SOME ELECTRICAL WIRING THAT WAS IN THE WAY, INSTALLED DOOR AND OPENER, AND TRIMMED OPENING. THESE GUYS DID A GREAT JOB. THEY OBVIOUSLY ARE GOOD AT WHAT THEY DO BECAUSE THEY WERE IN AND OUT QUICKLY. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM FOR ANY GARAGE DOOR PROJECT!

I CALLED AND THEY WERE OUT THE NEXT DAY AND GAVE A PRICE AND IT WAS WITHIN $200 OF THE NEXT COMPETITOR. BOTH DOORS WERE MATCHED EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE TWO DIFFERENT SIZES. I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE JOB.

CALLED BEFORE THEY CAME, VERY PUNCTUAL, PROFESSIONAL. DOOR WAS TOP OF THE LINE.

HE DID A GREAT JOB IN SERVICING OUR DOOR. HE FIXED THE SPRING, WHICH WE HAD HAD HIM COME OUT FOR IN THE FIRST PLACE, BUT THEN HE ALSO SHOWED US HOW WORN OUR ROLLERS WERE. SO WE HAD HIM FIX THEM AS WELL, AND HE ONLY CHARGED US $5 PER ROLLER. SO HE BASICALLY SAVED US $65 BECAUSE WE WOULD HAVE HAD TO HAVE HAD THEM BACK OUT TO FIX THEM AT ANOTHER TIME. HE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND THE CALL TO GET US TAKEN CARE OF.

WANTED TO USE THIS COMPANY FOR 24 HR. EMERGENCY SERVICE AS THEY ADVERTISED. WHEN SHE CALLED, HOWEVER, THE MESSAGE SAID CALLS WOULD BE RETURNED THE NEXT DAY.
