Job was extremely rushed. One day 1 he broke the ring door bell with a metal object in his hand. Door bell was replaced at owners expense. He also wanted to clean all of his equipment in SS kitchen sink and was told “no”. On day 2 he did clean his equipment in the SS sink; now it’s a scratched mess. Plus we had a lot of cleanup that needed to be done after each painting session. We specified the desired color was to be bright white. He tried to cover harvest gold color with one coat of white paint, did not want to prime. Result: specified areas were a pale blue tint. I called to express concern and he returned for a supposed second coat. Walls dried the same pale blue color. Was a second coat ever applied? They were supposed to be bright white. Once the pandemic opened up we had several family/visitors in our home. Every person that came over said the color was pale blue, not white. Paid $3,330.00 for extremely poor workmanship and no communication.

Mark Sperry was prompt, courteous and thorough in his written and oral painting proposal. All work was accomplished in a highly professional manner with meticulous attention to craftsmanship detail and neatness throughout surface preparation, materials selection, and the finish paint application. Extensive preparation, including power washing, hand-scraping and priming cedar trim surfaces, caulking, and tarping necessary areas before painting, resulted in a highly professional end product. Mark and his team seem to approach each project as ‘a work of art’ and leave no detail unattended.

He responded right away, and gave me an estimate. His price was a little steep, but the quality was excellent. I am happy with the results and his professionalism and would recommend him to anybody. I have no complaints against him. I only did the back of my house and was pleased with the work that he did. After the work, it was probably because of the power wash, there was quite a bit of paint chips on the ground.

I have had Mr. Sperry's company paint my home the last two times. First I must say that I have a 2 story house, built in 1897, with 33 windows and 2 dormers. Not an easy house to paint. The painting crews have always been punctual and professional. They power wash, scrape and when necessary sand the whole exterior. After this all bare surfaces were primed and caulked. We did body color with 2 trim colors and it could not have turned out more beautifully. If you need exterior painting done contact Mark Sperry. I had friends that had their houses painted at the same time as mine (not by Sperry) and they had to be repainted years before I did. He is the only one who will ever paint my house.
