Husney's Construction Services

Last fall we decided to have half of our basement finished. Since the ceiling and floor were finished some time ago, the work to be completed was to remove the old paneling, install drywall on all the walls, window wells and around the door to the unfinished side of the basement. The door to the unfinished side of the basement was to be replaced and the new drywall was to be primed and painted. The job also included installing wood trim along the ceiling to complete the transition from the walls to the ceiling. All the new surfaces were primed and two coats of paint were to be applied. All the material that was removed (old paneling, door, etc.) was disposed of appropriately without any additional cost to us. The floor covering was protected with heavy plastic and the floor base molding was removed and replaced at the conclusion of the job. Rob and Art were very professional; always arriving on time and making sure our house remained as clean and dust free as possible. The job was completed in less than two weeks and it turned out better than we expected. The two gentlemen that worked in our house were very considerate and respectful of our house. All the work was done with the utmost of care and we were delighted with the result. Since our work was done during Husney?s ?slow? time an additional discount was given. We would definitely use Husney?s Construction Services again. They also offer ?Handyman? services.

It went GREAT!! Since we didn't know what Rob would find when he started converting the high hats, we agreed on a time and material method of determining the cost of the project. We provided the 12 LED retro fit kits and the four dimmer switches. Rob showed up on time and had everything he needed to complete the job. He covered each area where he was working (there was some debris). When Rob finished everything was clean and neat and everything worked. We will certainly consider Husney's Construction Services for any future project we may consider.

We hired Husney's Construction Services to finish off a 20 x 20 room in our basement. Rob Dunger and his crew did an outstanding job and we could not be happier with the completed work. Not only were they clean and neat and extremely courteous they were also incredibly detailed oriented and made sure that everything was done in a very meticulous and systematic fashion which left us with a truly great finished project. They also went above and beyond by bringing to our attention an issue with our water pipes not being secured sufficiently to the beams in the basement and fixing those as well as taking our doorbell wiring in the basement and cleaning it up and putting it in a nice outlet type box. Rob did a great job in taking the time to explain to us all he was going to be doing and he also brought some great suggestions and solutions to the table that we had not even thought about. We could not be happier with the outcome of the project and we would not hesitate to hire them again to do additional work in the house. This review is long overdue and we cannot thank you guys enough for a really great job and a really good experience!!

Dan was very accommodating in getting this project done before I moved into the home. The closet was added and it look wonderful painting job is perfect, very professional all the way around. Only thing I would say negatively is that I was surprised that the painting took abit longer than expected,

Husney's Landscaping and Irrigation have provided us with exceptional yard and lighting service for over 4 years. When their new division, Husney's Construction Services, was introduced, we new that if the opportunity arose, we would call them. Enter Mother Nature! After strong winds and a hard downpour pushed water into the eaves of our home, we were left with significant water damage in both our dining and living rooms. Dan and Rob were quick to respond to our call and assessed the project. Their bid was very competitive with another company, but they were also willing to use eco-friendly materials and low VOC paints and primers for the job. A big plus for us! We also added new LED ceiling lighting in the living room and a total paint-out of the dining room to the project. Rob and Darren were the ultimate craftsmen. They prepped the areas prior to demolition, cut out the damaged areas of the ceilings, replaced insulation and installed new drywall. They re-textured the ceiling areas so that you would never know their was a problem. In the living room, Rob installed recessed lights with amazing precision. He was able to limit drywall damage by using the lighting holes to pass the additional wiring required. He installed a dimmer switch for each section of lights and even changed out an existing light switch plate when the new and old didn't match. Rob also installed a new amp circuit for the new lights. He left us speechless! Darren finished off the project by stain blocking and priming the repaired areas. He repainted the Dining Room walls and the ceiling, and trim area with an amazing eye for detail. There isn't a day that we don't admire these rooms and remember the hard work and skillful team of Husney's Construction Services. We will definitely be calling them again for other small and big projects in our home!
