This service was performed in Nov.1998 or1999.

These guys worked as I expected, showed up right at 8:30 everyday and took normal breaks at about the same time everyday. I didn't get the impression Cal felt comfortable asking for things that he wanted due to problems at past jobs. This includes coffee, water, bathroom; he wouldn't ask for them even though I offered that we were friendly. I did make them coffee every morning. I would have done more if I knew what I could have done for them. During the job I pulled all the permits and tried to relay any neccesary details as best I knew how, but I don't do this work for a living. There were a few minor things that had to change and some other small happening that we discussed while he was working and he forgot. I recommend pulling him aside from the work if there is a detail or change that he needs to know about. That or writing it down for him. This may seem unproffessional, but when he's working, his thought process seems to be ten steps ahead and constantly rethinking all of his moves and priorities. This crew works hard, simply put. The cleanup after the job was pretty neatly done. I didn't know what to excpect with this job. This job can turn very costly, but it's one that if you had water problems like I had, you have to do it. So it was mor important to get the water problem solved within my budget than to have a perfectly neat job done, so I didn't go with one of the big name companies. What I was left with was landscaping that was torn out I have to replace. The yard that had to be torn up I have to level out and re seed. This is work I can do, and I'm sure if I asked he would have completed it, but it would have cost another day of work. The job came out about $500 more than he estimated. But it was still much much lower than any other company could have done it for.

They were able to put an outside valve that hooked up to the sewer line to prevent backup flooding from the sewers in my basement. He was very professional and knowledgeable. I had contacted some other companies for estimates, but they were unable to ensure me that they knew what exactly needed to be done. I am very happy with his services so far.
