I was told the compressor was going bad and it would be $700 and over a week to get a part. That's close to the cost of the refrigerator, so I declined. The compressor totally died 2 hours after the repairman left. He didn't do anything wrong, but he definitely didn't want to fix the refrigerator and was in and out of the house in 15 minutes.

He cane out found the problem ordered the part and s week later came out to install. With both trips and the part less than 200.00 and also releveled both the dryer and washer.

The tech came out and temporarily fixed the issue until an ordered part came in, then he returned to complete the repair. I would use them again if needed!

i tend to purchase new appliances instead of repairing them, but they did a nice job and the price was right.

The repairman came, diagnosed the issue right away and quickly cleaned/repaired my burners. I have mostly cooked with electric stoves so the repairman took the time to show me how to clean/maintain the burners so the issue would not happen again. The only "issue" I had is they do not pre-schedule a time slot. When you make an appointment they call the morning of the service day and tell you what the arrival window will be. This is difficult for many people to balance with kids school drop-offs/pick-ups, taking time off work, etc. I suggest the company consider scheduling the appointment windows with the scheduled day so homeowners can better plan their days.

He replaced cold control on refrigerator & problem solved. Blower wheel on dryer was replaced, but loud noise heard w/in 2 weeks. Called back & minor problem was resolved next week.

Excellent! he knew exactly what the problem was and had all the right parts and tools with him. Gave us great advice on taking care of the washer. would use him again for any appliance!

The technician arrived on time. Didn't introduce himself. Spent maybe 10 minutes looking at the dishwasher. Actually he just listened to the dishwasher. Told me that it was going to need a new motor. He called to get a price on the part and then estimated it would be $310.00 plus tax. I declined to have this done. It turns out that the filter needed to be cleaned. Hard to believe this isn't one of the first things to check. Thankfully the service call was only $26.00. Wasn't worth $26.00. I would never call this company again.

It didn't that's why he had to fix it.😀 Just kidding. It all went great!

Dave was excellent. Recommended him to one of my neighbors and he took care of her washing machine on the spot. Another company told my neighbor it would be weeks to get to get. Dave served her needs almost immediately. Have used Dave for repairs prior to this.

He was good. He was very business-like. He came in and changed the part and gave me some advice.

I am unsure if I would hire again. He was professional, timely and did perform the work he was hired to do plus he gave me his recommendation. However, he was quite difficult to the point of not willing to work with me when it came to trying to help me understand the issue fully. I wanted to know how to take care of this in the future and he just wouldn't communicate that to me. It left a bad taste in my mouth. If you want to hire a repair guy that comes and does the work and you won't have any questions, then this guy is just fine.

I called and asked if the price of the service was $25 a service call and $60 an hour plus parts and was told yes. When he came to the house he said it was a $175 flat rate. We told him that we would like to get the 10% Angie's list discount or the 10% senior citizen's discount. He told us he would only give a 5% discount if we used a credit card and 10% if we paid with check or cash. When I called to dispute the price he told me that $25 a service call and $60 and hour plus parts is the same $175 flat rate. He replaced a igniter switch which according to what I found on the internet it doesn't cost $90 which is how much it would need to cost if the two prices that we were given were the same. The told cost was not overly expensive but I felt like he totally deceived us about the actual price it would of cost to fix the stove,

Dave was on time and very professional. I would hire him again for any appliance repair I need in the future. I certainly would recommend his services to anyone needing appliance service or repair.

It took about a week from time of first call for service appointment. Dave came out and quickly diagnosed and repaired the dryer roller. Took less than an hour! Used 10% off coupon from Angies list. Total cost was about $160.

I called to schedule service for a dishwasher which was going through the cycles but not using any water. Instead of scheduling a visit, he asked me to check the float on the bottom of the tub. It was semi-off...which did not allow the tub to fill with water! So, I fixed it with his guidance. He could have easily charged me a visit to check things out and fix it himself. I appreciate his thoughtfulness and willingness to forgo an easy service call. I will definitely contact when we have any appliance issues.

On Tuesday, June 16, David Hinzman, from Performance Appliance Repair came to give an estimate on needed washer repair. He said that the parts should be in by Friday, June 19, when he expected to return to make the repairs. While here, he had me wait while he took the time to answer and take notes from another (potential(?)) customer. On Friday, he failed to put the “agitator” back in and left the washer and floor dirty (including packaging material). On Monday, June 22, when we called to report this neglect to the owner, we found out that Dave Hinzman is the owner. He said that he had probably been in a hurry and suggested that my husband finish putting the washer back together. Although they were neatly placed right beside the steps he had to use to exit the basement, he said that he could find nothing to clean the floor with (and didn’t ask). He also said that he threw the trash away and that our daughter (who stayed at the house for us) told him that she’d clean up (which didn’t sound right). He finally agreed to refund $25 and wanted US to call to remind him. I later found out that he not only lied about throwing the trash away and being unable to find anything to clean with, but also about our daughter saying that she would clean up his mess. He had someone come to finish putting the washer back together and refunded the $25.

Don't make promises you can't keep. Do you think people want to take the afternoon off work for nothing?
