I specifically signed up for Angies List to avoid this type of behavior from vendors. I thought I would get top rated customer service, but they never attempted to contact me. I tried for two days to contact Fowler, but to no avail. The voice mailbox was full for two days and I decided to take my business elsewhere. I didn't have a good experience using vendors on Angie's List for the first time. I thought this experience would be great give the grades this vendor received from other customer.

Provider was very prompt, friendly, and professional. We felt like the prices were very reasonable. Trees were removed and trimmed and all debris cleaned up and hauled away and our yard left clean. Absolutely no complaints with any part of the process. I would absolutely use this provider again.

Arrived at house and proceeded to remove necessary tree limbs; then cleaned up all debris. Finished all work in around 45 minutes.

They showed up on time, did what they said they were going to do, and cleaned up their mess. I would probably use them again.

Two guy arrived to complete the job. They were punctual and efficient.

Tom let me know ahead of time when he would arrive and how long it would take. He arrived and finished on time. He and his crew were professional, friendly, and kept me informed of the progress. I would not hesitate at all to recommend him to anyone needing tree work.

Owner came on a Saturday, in inclement weather, to get the job done; he did an excellent clean-up job

I never actually met them. They did the service while I was at work, which was very convenient. The trees look great and now I no longer have to worry about falling branches!

Would definitely recommend Fowler Forestry Tree Service if you find yourself in need of the services they offer.They removed several huge limbs and trimmed the dead wood from a massive oak tree that has needed help for a long time. Others have looked at the tree but felt they would not be able to accomplish what we needed ... the space is restrictive and the tree is so large. Fowler Forestry managed not only to remove the limbs in question, but also pointed out and removed a couple that we had not known were potential problems. They cleaned up everything when they were finished removing all traces that they had ever been here. We were more than pleased and certainly will call them again when the need arises.

They arrived on time, positioned their equipment, and started cutting down each tree, from the top. They had a new large chipper that could chip a tree limb of at least twelve inches in diameter. They continued to work during a rain shower which I think is somewhat dangerous considering one person is climbing a tree with a chain saw. I would use this company again, and probably will, since we have several dying ash trees that could hit our house if/when they fall. Good young men doing a good days work.......hard to find this work ethic in today's "grab and go" society. Fowler was not the lowest bid but my wife felt comfortable with this company during the initial meeting and during the actual work.

My husband met with Mr. Fowler and they discussed the work to be completed. The work requested was said to be more than the voucher was worth, so my husband agreed to the additional cost. Mr., Fowler said that it would be another two weeks before his crew could get to the job. Two more weeks passed with no word from Mr. Fowler. My husband left two messages inquiring when the work would be completed. After no reply, I sought a refund for the prepaid voucher through my PayPal account. I was very disappointed when I wasn.t contacted by anyone from Angie's List or Fowler's Tree Service concerning my dispute. My husband made one more attempt to reach Mr. Fowler, initially to ask for a refund, but agreed to have his company complete the work. Fowler's Tree Service cut dead limbs out of our tree on October 17, 2014. My husband and I expected, per our agreement with Mr.Fowler, that the limbs to be cut up and not just left in the middle of the yard.

They came when they said they would, did what they said they would and charged me the estimated price. They also were careful not to tear up my yard! Professional, timely - would definitely recommend.

Overall the experience was great. Removed the tree one day and came back to do the stump grinding a second. Would use again, no question. Very professional and timely.

Wonderful! I emailed the company on the Sunday before Labor Day not expecting a response until the Tuesday after the holiday and was pleasantly surprised to hear back from them the same day. They came out later in the day on Sunday to look at our trees and emailed me an estimate that evening. I hired them and was told they would do their best to fit us into the schedule for the coming week. They were able to come out that Friday to remove our trees and did an excellent job. They were quick and cleaned up all the debris. A week or so later, they returned to grind the stumps down. In today's world, it is extremely rare to have a company go above and beyond what you'd expect and I can say that Fowler Forestry did just that. I was pleasantly surprised by their quick response and excellent customer service.

Nothing went. As I said - no call back - no schedule appointment - nothing at all was accomplished by my messages. Busy time of year for tree companies. I'm sure they are very good.

It went well and we've scheduled this company to do additional work in the near future.

The crew was prompt, pleasant and took the trees down without affecting too many other trees in their path and most importantly without damaging the house or lawn. Tom is an honest broker - gave me the pros and cons when we spoke about the challenges of accessing my property without the use of bucket trucks and came up with another solution. Overall very fair on price. I highly recommend Fowler Forrestry.

On Sunday (9/14) I noticed a partially uprooted tree in my backyard leaning on the tree next to it and also partly on my roof. I checked Angie's List and decided to call Fowler Forestry. It was a good decision. They responded the next day, Monday (9/15). When I originally called their number on Sunday I received a call back from Tom Fowler within approx 1/2 hour. He said he could come out a bit later that day, look at the job, and provide me with an estimate via email that evening. Upon receiving the estimate (which I thought was very fair) I emailed him back and he said he'd be out the next day. Tom and one of his workers came out, took the tree down, and mulched it up in their chipper. They dug out the stump (the ground was soft and the tree was not huge), cleaned up after themselves and checked the other tree and my roof for any damage. The whole job took about an hour to an hour and a half. Tom knows his business and does it well. He's fair and reasonably priced. I'd call him again if the need arose.

It went very well. They performed the work exactly to my request. And they cleaned up their mess.

Tom reviewed the situation, provided the estimate and gave me an estimated date he could perform the work. I felt completely comfortable having him come during the work day - while I wasn't there. They took care to protect the plants I had planted at the base of the tree. Aside from noticing my watering can had been moved, I couldn't even tell he/they had been there! He removed the 'sawdust' (so as not to kill the grass) and all 'logs'. I would (and have) definitely recommend Tom and his team.

on time for the estimate. when the work was to be performed the weather caused a delay. we rescheduled for 2 days later. he and a helper arrived on time and finished in a timely manner. all debris was taken away and the yard left in the condition it was found. i was very pleased because, in the past, when i have had other tree work done a mess was usually left behind. very professional.

On Wednesday I called two companies to get an estimate on cutting down some trees on my property. I left a message and Tom Fowler called me back within several hours. We made an appointment for Friday for him to come and give me an estimate on the work I requested. His bid came in two hundred dollars less than the other company's estimate. Due to nice weather, he was able to schedule the job on Monday. He came out with two other men in the morning after finishing a previous job. They got right to work. It was fascinating watching Tom climb those trees and cut them with such precision and care. You could tell he knew what he was doing. I wanted to save the wood for fire wood so they cut up logs in sections for us. He did another excellent job trimming a beautiful tree in my yard that was getting too large for its space. He nicely shaped it for me. He and his crew cleaned up before leaving. Tom was very friendly and professional. I will definitely have him do all my tree work in the future and will refer him to others. I told him I was going to submit him on Angies's List because I was so pleased.
