Description of Work: Wanted to get a quote for foam jacking under the concrete patio in the back of my home. It took about 2 weeks to get someone out to deliver a quote. My concrete patio is essentially all one slab and the ground underneath seems to be sinking in areas but the patio itself hasn't moved. They priced out the job by assuming the entire square footage of the patio (since it's basically all 1 piece). So I think as a result the price was over-inflated but it's impossible to know where the gaps were. I would have been more pleased with a range of prices dependent on actual materials used once they got into the job. It seemed like I was being quoted the maximum possible cost to do the job which naturally scared me away. They quoted me $3,000 to put foam under a ~14'x24' concrete patio. I could have a patio this size poured for that cost. Considering we aren't sure we're going to keep the patio long term, we just didn't see the ROI in spending the money on it.

Description of Work: Oddly,I'd give the technician(Vic) an A--despite the fact that he did no work on my house. He was kind, apologetic, and helpful. However, I would rate their service call center with an F--I expressed that I had a basement back flow problem and needed someone who would be able to help -same day as estimate. I waited 4 days, received my ""is this appointment tomorrow still good"" call and said approximately: yes, now, will you have an auger, or necessary equipment with you to clear my drain? He seemed confused & said, he'd call the office. The office called to clarify & explain, they had scheduled the wrong guy... would the morning of 6th day of waiting be okay? Morning of the 6th day is when Vic arrived to say: I see what's happening. I'm sorry, we don't do that, you need to call XXX. REALLY? Part of a service center's job is to identify if you are able to provide the service or not.
