I am so pleased that I chose Ohio Basement Authority to repair and protect my crawl space. Field Inspector Jacob, who gave me the estimate, was professional, punctual, polite, and patiently addressed all my questions and concerns. Josiah, Daniel, and Harold were the crew that installed the product. They were punctual, polite, and respectful. The clean-up at the end of the job was impeccable. The electrician, Ryan, was very polite and explained what he was going to do and addressed all my questions cheerfully. I have had a lot of work done to my home over the past 25 years and my experience with Ohio Basement Authority has been the BEST by far. I will highly recommend them. I contacted them in regards to basement moisture. I hired them to bury two downspouts and run the drainage out the length of the yard. I was told I had to put money down that day or I would not get a tiny tiny discount on what I felt was overpriced. He literally followed me to the bank. When I asked for a receipt he told me he did not have a receipt booklet. I had to take a photo of the check. He said that his secretary would be sending me an invoice today or tomorrow at the latest with the payment on it and to schedule the work. It did not feel right. I should have listened to my gut as a women. I did not get any call or email for three days so I had to call to ask them to send me a receipt and schedule the appointment. After the work they left with no grate over the hole. He said he did not have one in the truck and I should be able to go to Lowe s and get one. You must be kidding me for what I paid them! The opening is big enough for rodents and small animals to crawl into. The yard was left with mounds of dirt that was mostly large rocks. Some of which I found thrown in my bushes later that day when watering them. I had to clean up all that by myself in 90 degree weather. I have a very large mound of rocks including a large wheelbarrow. I regraded it myself and will have to pay to put down seed myself as well. The cement work is extremely bad. It rained and the water pooled right by the step and ran down the foundation where I just paid a lot of money for them to fix. I called 3x in 5 days and still have no return call that someone will be out to fix it. Extremely dissatisfied and disappointed in the character of this company. I will talk to the lawyer to get some of my money back.

The only downside was they had to jackhammer a concrete step which broke some concrete blocks in a retaining wall. However, I was told in advance that it would happen & that they did not do that repair. The work they did to my house fixed the dropped corner of the house , placed level markers & sealed the large crack so it is barely noticeable. They worked quickly & efficiently & pleasantly. I hope I dont need them again but if I do I would definitely call them.

They installed it wrong the first time I had to take 3 days off work to get it right they had to redig the pit they bumped pipes made them leak. I was not there the first time as I was out of town they left the outside water hose running 3 days, they left trash all over, they made it right eventually and got a discount but I had to argue excessivly and threaten to call corporate to get it and cost me 3 days of work to oversee it to be sure it got done correctly

Matt Thomas came to our home to inspect & advise on some basement flooding issues. We have had basement issues in our previous home with sump pump/flooding and did not use basement authority but this experience was leaps and bounds beyond that company, thanks to Matt's expertise. He was knowledgeable, professional, on time and respectful. He gave the reasons behind why things are done certain ways and explained pros and cons of each option for us. We ended up going with his recommendation and have services scheduled. Would definitely recommend him to anyone in need.

Justin Harris, Carlos Hernandez, Chris Yates and Zack Hoffman did an excellent job on the foundation drainage install in my basement. They were very professional, hard working and friendly. The electrician, Ryan, did an excellent job as well and he answered all my questions. I would recommend them to others.

I will have to wait till I get fence fixed from them running trencher into my chain link fence!

Tommy H., Kyle R., and Abe B. came out and knocked it out of the park in one day. Their quality of work is outstanding! Thanks, guys! Now we get to finally start working on our basement! Highly recommended.

I spoke to the company twice and they said they could come out on Saturday and sent me a confirmation email for the appointment and a phone call. When the time came for the appointment no one showed up and they had cancelled without telling me and told me they were unable to do the job. This left me without water for a week and I am highly unsatisfied with the company and how they treated me.

Did a EXCELLENT job..

After having Ohio Basement Authority waterproof our basement, we proceeded to hire Dan, the electrician they use on their jobs. We needed an updated service panel. Recommended by Jordan, who has remained a constant and reliable resource of information and suggestions to me, as I took on the job of getting my parents home up to date for selling. Dan was very polite and professional! I was immediately at ease after greeting him the first day he came to the house. Once he put his music on and I heard the Eagles playing, I knew he was the man for the job. (My dad is a big Eagles fan!) Dan was informative as to exactly what he needed to do and explained to me the process. Being the holidays, and the City being closed, not being able to come out for inspection, the job took a couple days longer. Dan rescheduled his week, so that he could get electric back on the soonest possible! Thank you Dan! Thank you to Ohio Basement Authority! Truly a customer satisfaction company!
